It's been 6 years and it was time to change the batteries in my golf cart. 6x 8 volt batteries aren't cheap. Called around for price quotes and Battery World not only had the lowest prices, but they had them in stock. Daniel was great to work with. They had my six batteries ready to go, unloaded my old ones from my truck, and loaded up the new ones. All six batteries had the same date code which is important for batteries in series. Just 3 weeks old! All measured 8.5V so they were fully charged. Couldn't ask for more. Oh wait, I had a 5% off coupon from their website. Saved over $100 from the next lowest price out there. I went to Battery World to spread the wealth as they say. Instead of going to the local AutoZone. Well after a year the AC Delco battery I bought has been acting up, and starting to struggle getting the truck started. Since Battery World moved, I went to the AutoZone to get a test, they said it was a bad battery. Then I called Battery World they said I would have to leave it there for 3-4 hours to charge first then test. How could the other guys test and give me an answer in minutes but I have to wait hours with the battery store. The guy definitely got defensive when I told him about testing at AutoZone. Saying they don't know how to test... Battery World needs to update their test equipment or something. This being my only vehicle, I just can't wait around for a long battery test. Seems like a deterrent to me. read more
