Update 4/16/2026: A&C responded to my complaint immediately. Within hours, they listened to the recorded phone call and spoke with the employee. They went above and beyond by sending a supervisor to our home the next morning to help us with our issue and they apologized as well. The resolve is more important than the conflict. We will be continuing with this company because they have excellent customer service. They're a family business and show through action that they truly care. I would recommend this company. Hi. I did not expect to be condescended (I mistakenly used the word poison and was told I'm not even using the 'correct terminology' so I don't know what I'm talking about), and accused of lying (after mentioning what we were told by employees about our ant situation possibly being in the wall, he said just because I say something doesn't make it true). I had mentioned to the representative I was upset and the way he was talking to me was an awful way to speak someone. The reviews were correct, Adam explained exactly what options i have in removing my bee problem, the prices were competitive and at no time did Adam try to pressure me for the sale. I noticed a hive hanging in my yard from a branch of a neighbor's tree that extended over the fence. It was a swarm of who knows what. It was after hours, so I texted. To my surprise, someone was answering my texts. I explained the situation, they asked me a few questions, and told me they would come the next day between one and three. I recently spoke with Collin at A&C Pest regarding an inspection for heat treatment for bed bugs for one of my clients in Manhattan. Collin was extremely professional and arranged for someone to immediately inspect the apartment for heat treatment to determine if the apartment could be treated with a heat treatment rather than a chemical treatment. As a homeowner for 20+ years in a home built prior to 1950's, we have never had an issue but had another pest control company who kept changing our scheduled appointment showing up without notice or never appearing all. Their ability to immediately schedule an appointment, arrive on time as scheduled, in a clean well marked vehicle with experienced, well spoken staff who were in clean uniform who knew their job. Waking up to find ants crawling all over the cat food bowl was pretty scary. I had heard of A&C from their sponsorship of local baseball teams, so I called them first. I probably sounded like a loon on the phone, but the person I spoke to was friendly and reassuring, and had someone to my house by the end of the day. Since I have 2 small children, I was worried about the treatments they would apply. The technician had so much knowledge about the ants and the safety of the chemicals and they put me completely at ease. After making numerous inquiries to different companies, I chose A and C as they were extremely helpful and informative over the phone and made me quite comfortable. I confirmed my extermination appointment for Saturday between 8-10 am, and received a very nice confirmation call confirming the appointment followed by preparation instructions. At 945 I received a call from a restricted number telling me that the exterminators were "having car trouble" and that they would get back to me asap with an update. After past noon, I had left about 6 messages with their answering service and nobody would call me back. I waited until about 1230 having spent 4.5 hours in my car out in front of my building to ensure the truck had a spot to park, and still nobody showed up nor called me. At this point, i gave up and checked into a hotel. The company did not run my credit card for the 3K they charge for this service, but they did have it on file. Since the incident, nobody has called me to give me an explanation, apology, anything at all. At first I assumed that an incompetent worker just didn't get out of bed and that it wasn't the companies fault, but after bringing this to their attention and never having received any follow up whatsoever, i have to say i am appalled and in disbelief that a company that is supposedly as reputable as this, who charges such prices, could handle their customers this way. While i cannot speak to their effectiveness in terms of the extermination because they never showed up, i will say that anybody reading these reviews knows how stressful this already is and the last thing we need is the supposed "professionals" who are supposed to be helping alleviate our stress to make matters that much worse. Unless you like getting up at extremely early on a Saturday just to way for almost 5 hours and be stood up by a company whom you are supposed to be paying 3K for a service, then i recommend choosing one of the NUMEROUS other companies out there. there are tons of companies who do this heating method so make sure you research! read more

Literally walked into work this morning to a swarm of (what I thought) house flies. We called them at maybe around noon? They had Patrick Osbern here within a few hours to check the place out and give us a quote! He was great. My job is in a shopping center and unfortunately, we are located not only next to a restaurant but also the dumpsters. :-/ They are the CULPRITS!
