This was my first time at this location, and I have to say--I liked it a whole lot more than the Sandy Springs venue. The entire space felt more open, lively, and inviting, and there were noticeably more screens throughout, which really enhanced the overall experience. The staff here was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. Our server deserves special recognition. There was a slight delay with my fiancée's food, but he handled it with complete professionalism and even comped us for the inconvenience without hesitation. That level of service goes a long way and made a great impression. We went on karaoke night, and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and it struck the perfect balance between energetic and comfortable. We didn't stay long, partly because we were taking advantage of the free parking in the Purple Parking Deck right next to the venue, but the time we did spend there was genuinely enjoyable. Overall, this Battle & Brew felt like everything I had always hoped the other location would be--more space, better setup, and a team that clearly cares about creating a fun and memorable guest experience. This place is a one of a kind spot that I've never seen before, tons of games and a great menu with cool video game inspired item names. The concept is very unique and you have access to all the games at your table regardless of which console you choose. Great for kids and adult groups! The only reason I didn't give a five star review was because the service was very slow despite being not very busy (ex. 10 minutes to get side of ranch). They have a button at your table to page your server when you need them for game changes or food/drink requests, however I couldn't tell if mine was broken with how long it took for our server to come by the table. If you like to game, this is the place to go. There are different price points based on the size of the group, but for anywhere from $25-45 per hour, you get put in front of a TV with gaming controllers. Our group of 6, sharing 4 controllers, played Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros but there were a lot more game options available too. We played for 2 hours total but it was not crowded so we had the option to stay longer if we wished. However, 2 hours felt like plenty of time to hang out, play some games, and then go elsewhere. The parking garage Red Deck is also free for 2 hours so it's the perfect amount of time to park and play, and then go before getting charged. Underwhelmed by the food. I had the veggie burger, which they tout as a house black bean pattie, with salad instead of fries. The burger was ok... felt like there was something carby holding it together - not a lot of black beans. And lettuce in salad tasted old and wilted / stale. Battle & Brew is a cool place! They have PC gaming systems, consoles, and board games by the hour, all while you can enjoy food and drinks! They got really cool "potion" drinks. They have the Mana, Health, Stamina and Estus potions and they're all pretty good. As per food, they got a little bit of everything for finger foods. We tried their chicken tenders & chicken and waffles and the chicken is actually pretty good! We sat in couch with the consoles and our orders were taken from here and delivered by our server. At this location I have to say service is a lot better and faster but a lot more expensive than Sandy Springs. Overall, we will probably be back to Sandy Springs! Would not recommend. Found a hair in our shrimp appetizer and the manager was zero help, did not even offer an apology. Remade the dish but only for it to come out 20 mins later after our dinner. Asked for the wings crispy and they came out rubber with barely any sauce. Food looks good but was not impressed. On top of that they did not even comp the shrimp. We have been to the battle and brew in sand springs and now here... the one at the Battery is sooooooooo much better then the sand springs location!! Huge spot right down by the Braves stadium. The place is clean m, has lots of room, a huge center bar, and just countless gaming stations included a pretty dope pc area with lots of room as well. It really doesn't cost that much... for the PCs, which is what my boys played on, it is only 7$ per hour. For a couple of hours of entertainment it is really not bad at all. I'd spend a bunch more to go to a movie for sure! They do have food here, we had the cheese sticks... my oldest is an expert on anything cheese and he said these are some of the best he has ever had... my youngest is the queso critic... we had the chips and queso and he said although a bit runny that the flavor was outstanding... and we had some Sweet Chilli Thai wings that I thought were fantastic! Not too spicy not too sweet... even my youngest liked them! Another nice thing is they had nonalcoholic beer. Only one selection but it was a good one! There are staff all over to help, amazingly enough even when it got crowded it wasn't obnoxiously loud. We went back twice in 3 days and had a lot of fun both times. This is an awesome concept, love all the gaming stuff and memorabilia, like the Star Wars helmets on the wall. Great place to eat as well, not just for gaming. We had the Cowboy Bibimbap and the big deal grilled cheese. Both were extremely flavorful and neither one of us could stop eating. Now it is rare that I come on yelp ever, but my experience at this establishment I feel I need to share. I was an attendee of this locations monthly singles mixer which advertises itself as a friendly and open environment for singles who like gaming and bars to get together and play games and eat. Needless to say my experience at this "mixer" was not good, the food and drinks where good and all and I was able to strike up conversations so that's not my problem. While talking to a few people suddenly a person who I've encountered a few minutes before who I assume was one of the event organizers ushered me over to another group of people and told me bluntly "talk to other people". It was clear that I intimidated them as after I was ushered away from the group I was talking to this "organizer" took my place in the group. After a while I tried to chip in thinking that it was a misunderstanding but once again I was told to go away. This was the last straw for me as I did nothing to this individual yet they decide to usher me away giving me nobody to talk to at this "mixer". I eventually walked out of the establishment completely and utterly disappointed and upset. Who ever that organizer was they are the reason I will never return to this establishment. I am giving this one star as a way to warn other about attending the events hosted at this specific location. Do not attend unless you want to be pushed back away from any kind of social interaction.
