Since moving back to Marietta from Florida, I wanted to find a casual bar that doesn't allow smoking indoors. So thankful I stumbled back upon this place! I love that they have darts and pool tables in case you don't just want to sit around and watch tv while having a few drinks and/or food. I will say that this place has always been consistent when I'm looking for bar food. They have 1/2 price wing Wednesdays, so that's when I normally stop in. The bartenders are friendly and always make sure I'm taken care of with my food and drinks. The bf and I decided to try trivia night a couple weeks ago on a Thursday, and it was pretty legit as well. I've been a customer of Brewster's since 1997. There has been a myriad of ownership changes. One thing you could always count on was good food. Well, until tonight. My burger was not only not medium-well, it was flat out burnt to a crisp. Somehow, I ordered mashed potatoes, versus tots, which was on me. Normally, I would be fine with that but these tasted like dirty dishwater and pepper. They were also inedible. Needles to say, I'm out the cost of the meal and still need to buy something else to eat. I tried giving my dog a part of the burger, and he wanted nothing to do with it. Rarely does Yelp lead us astray but this place is no where near how it's rated. It's in a strip mall with a large sign that they aren't liable for any death prominently displayed at the door. The place was pretty much empty on a Sunday at noon during football season. And really quiet - like no music or anything. Just the speakers from the TVs. We were the youngest people there (and we are mid-40s) and the 5 people that were in there just stared at us. It was super uncomfortable so we walked out. No thanks. This is a great neighborhood watering hole. Staff is attentive, and it has a very easy and comfortable atmosphere (like Cheers). They have a special every day, and it is something unique from the menu, the price is LOW (like $8.99 as an example). One that we had was a hamburger with grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns. Delicious. I typically only get carryout, but my husband visits regularly. It's a smoking establishment, and he appreciates that. Other reviewers have pointed out the smoking aspect as a surprise. We come here just about weekly. We ordered a mango icecream milkshake specifically. We were not told till after got a God a sorbet milkshake that there was no mango milkshake... if that was the case I would have ordered a different flavor or icecream that was in stocks when I asked for a different flavor because we did not get what we ordered I had to pay for an entirely new milkshake!! Whoever the new blonde girl is with glasses either does not know what flavors are in stocks, doesn't pay attention to orders, or is just plain stupid. I will think twice about coming here. Came into this unassuming hole in the wall located in a grocery store strip mall. Could not believe the quality of the (dare I say fresh, not frozen) fish and chips and the chicken fingers. Smoky. We're not smokers and while we could handle it, we had to wash our clothes and jackets when we returned home. We went on a Saturday afternoon when there wasn't any kind of a rush. I had the Cesar salad and it was done correctly (Chopped lettuce and the dressing was shaken over the lettuce, not just poured on). My Brewster's Signature Burger was delivered with a HUGE amount of fries and we dumped them on the salad plate before it was taken away. Great beer selection. We'll be back. read more

I love this place. Stacy and Joe, the owners, are so nice. Brittany, Shanda, Chelsea and Allison are awesome! It's a fun place for poker, darts, karaoke, live music and even trivia. But even if you don't like that the food is great! Lobster Bisque soup rivals some of the seafood places. Buffalo Chicken dip is oh so good. And the chicken croissant sandwich melts in your mouth. The smoking is probably it's only downfall, but for those that smoke it's great. Sports bar on weekends.....gets real loud. OK, I referred to it to friends as the sports bar the free world forgot. In retrospect that was a little unfair. A little. What it really amounts to is a really decent neighborhood bar that focuses on good food and service and doesnt try to be a whole lot more than a watering hole with homestylle food.......which is something I kinda respect....especially when the result is $2 Bloody Marys on Sunday and a dozen hot wings for 6.00. And both were quite good. I really like the individual TVs at the table....reminds me of my parimutuel wagering upbringings a bit. I think the only things that keep it from an exceptional rating are the smokiness of it (good luck finding a bar that isnt smoky right), the somewhat limited menu, and the fact that I was p.o.ed at not being able to get to the Eagles bar for the game due to a horrendous I75 backup. when I did get to the Eagles bar, it was actually a bit meh....I could have stayed at Brewsters. read more

Nice neighborhood bar. Friendly folks and lot's of TV's and conversation available. Daily drink specials with DJ's, Karaoke and/or Live Bands throughout the week. The best part of this place is the food menu. We go at least once a week just for a meal. Unlike the normal "Bar Food" offered at most places, these folks offer a full menu. We have tried most of the menu at least twice and have been pleased with everything so far. Good Health department scores. read more

I like dive bars. This is pretty much what Brewsters is. It is smoky and yeah the little TVs at the table don't always look right but theres something that draws me back here for lunch. The food is good, simple, normal bar food. The salads are fresh and the chicken tenders are excellent. For lunch the service has been awesome except on one occasion where I almost walked out with the group I was with because I'm pretty sure the server forgot to put our order in then forgot we were there. Its the only bad experience I've had though during lunch. It's good place for a quick decent priced sports bar food. read more

Ok...so the biggest reason I go here so much is because it is SO close to my house. Well ok.... maybe that isnt the biggest reason the BIGGEST reason is that I can get excedingly drunk here fast and cheap. *Warning* this place is NOT a hip joint to hang out most of the crowd is 30+ biker/redneck types. The waitstaff is great , very friendly and fast with the booze which makes me very happy. I've been at many establishments in the area. This is by far the best place to go for food, drinks, and best of all a great staff that provide outstanding service. Looking for a place to watch football on Sunday? They have plenty of tvs and the atmosphere is friendly and there are always great food and drink specials, very affordable menu items, and even offer free appetizers certain hours every weekday. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here. The bartenders are all cool as hell! The owners are friendly. Beer is always cold. The biker chicks that come in are pretty hot! They have decent bands on band night. The clientele is a melting pot of young and old, dressy to casual, and some of the older guys around the bar are extremely funny to talk to, especially when they get a few in them. Free poker, darts, karaoke. Good TV coverage around the bar. Some people will call it a dive, but the food is too good to be a dive.
