1/2 order of trout w/ special veggie instead of 2 normal sides.

I stopped in after a long day and grabbed a seat at the bar after being ecstatically greeted at the front door by an amazing older gentleman who appeared to be from the kitchen. I would work a few hours for free to cook alongside him and that great attitude. It's not a gluten-free dream with much of the menu consisting of breadcrumbs, but that's not unusual. I ordered the trout (1/2 order is one filet or half of the fish) with the brussels sprout special. Sprouts were solid, but not amazing as they were a tad over boiled, but man...bacon and hollandaise on top makes up for a lot of issues. I'd order them again. The fish, with capers and hollandaise, very flavorful and worth the price. The bar was the perfect quiet, attentive service, and casual conversation at a bar more upscale than most in this area, with zero pretentiousness. While I am personally limited in options here with Celiac, the menu is stunning and if my dish is indicative of the quality on the rest of the menu...absolutely give it a shot.

Came here for my birthday on a Wednesday evening. We were quickly seated, and it was not too crowded. The food as always was excellent! I ordered the lamb chops, crabcake, cream, spinach, and au gratin potatoes. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. I ordered the lamb chops medium and they came out perfect! My husband tried the pork chops. He ate every bite... So I'm pretty sure he enjoyed his meal as well.

You HAVE to try the Crab Fingers. Seriously, best in town! We got the Crab-Stuffed Fish and the Trout. Both were delicious. The fish was tender, flaky, and full of flavor, paired with creamy rich sides that hit the spot. My plate came with au gratin potatoes and fresh green beans that tasted homemade. The trout had a light lemon-butter caper sauce that went perfectly. The bacon flavor in the creamed spinach was very strong. Didn't have a traditional creamed spinach taste that threw me off. We sat at the bar, and the service was great. The drinks were well-balanced. They also had live music, which really set a nice relaxed vibe and made the evening even better.

Quick bite after church and my calamari strips and lemon based aioli was utterly delicious! Service by Deja sitting at the bar was courteous and she has a very engaging personality and extremely friendly! Ambiance is very nice as well to include the area by the fireplace with the beautiful picture of the late great Bob Marley! This is a hidden gem and treasure in Kennesaw (Cobb County) Georgia! Will definitely be back during a week night for the live music!

Delicious. Food. Drinks. Ambiance. Service...All that. The live music was a vibe. I love this place and I've only been once. Will return to try more items.

My mothers friend recommended we try this restaurant and so we did. Very happy we did. Everything from the service, food, and drinks was better than expected. Our server, Ciara was a sweetheart from the moment she greeted us until we left. She was attentive, took the time to explain the menu, and made sure we were happy. I really love the idea of being able to order half size portions so I can try multiple items in one visit without having a ridiculous bill! I had the crab and shrimp pasta and the lamb chops. Both were soooooooooooooooo good. I was upset I couldn't finish them while there, but hey there's always leftovers for later! I also had a Bellini and it was delicious! Love they bring you the champagne bottle so you're essentially getting 2 drinks in one. My mom had the bbq ribs and spinach artichoke dip and she was very happy as well. Neither of us had room for dessert, but next time for sure. Bottom line we'll def be back! I recommend!!!

The food was okay. Lamb chops were a little chewy. Chicken tenders were breaded like fish. Au gratin potatoes were delicious. The lemonade wine was supposedly sweet per the waitress, but it wasn't, it was a semi- dry wine faintly sweet. The waitress was aware of a patron at our table birthday ( the restaurant gave her a birthday card) and never offered a dessert. But other tables received one for their birthday guest. Overall, the staff was professional. The manager Mya was professional. I would probably give this place another shit. The atmosphere was nice. There was a singer in another room and he had a soft soothing voice.

Idk where to begin... this place and the service really was top tier.. from the time I walked in I was greeted and sat quickly when I gave my reservation name. the overall ambience of the place was 10/10 loved the lit candle aesthetic definitely set the mood for my date. The food oh the food definitely touched the palette with everything I had the roasted mushrooms stuffed with crab meat was amazing, and that Hawaiian inspired ribeye steak was one of the most flavorful steaks I've had in years everything was amazing even the water lol. They are very attentive to the customer from who waits your table all the way to the manager who asks how everything is. Though it's far from me lol I will definitely be back you can count on that well done Capers you've exceeded my expectations, this is what dining is about!!!

Where does the usual dress of this place fall? Is closer to a longhorn (jeans and tee shirt) or more of a shirt and tie atmosphere like most of the Buckhead steak houses?

You don't need a shirt and tie but I wouldn't necessarily wear a T-shirt and flip flops. Something more in between will suffice.

I would have figured it would be elevated cheeses, but who am I to say? I sounded good regardless, and it was tasty as well. I don't have any negative comments about the food, however, it didn't blow my socks off. I'd come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to drive just for this restaurant.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Krista immediately (who also turned out to be the bartender who made fabulous Margueritas) with a smile and an offer as to our table preference. We chose a booth and so glad we did. The booths are beautiful wood, high backs, comfy space and seating. We had the feeling of being in our own little world while also appreciating the friendly, open, clean, comfortable space of the restaurant as a whole. We loved the open kitchen and a view of everyone working to bring us our drinks and food at a perfect pace to relax, chat, eat and enjoy. Our waiter, Zach, had great timing throughout our meal. It was fun to watch him at a bigger table near us with adults and children having a celebration. He seemed to be enjoying them as much as they him. When my sons were young, waiters that included them personally in the experience meant a lot to me rather than talking over them or not addressing them. He was just as personable with us and it was sincere. He also was so helpful with our questions about the menu. We had never had bison before and Zach was detailed in his description, making that a clear choice for our meat. I had a bison filet and my husband a bison burger. Zach also detailed the different Margueritas when we asked and we each ordered and got exactly as he described it. We are going back and flipping our drink order because we liked them both so much. Shout out to Krista for a perfect, IMO, salted rim!The manager, Samantha also came by to talk to us and make sure we had a good experience. I had seen her in the kitchen as well, so I was impressed that she was a "roll up her sleeves and get in there" manager. Having had restaurant experience from the bottom to management myself light years ago I really appreciated that. She was delightful to talk to, sincerely interested in us as people as well as customers. Great sense of humor.Because we had such a great experience, we are going back there again this weekend. I obviously think anyone reading this should make plans to visit this restaurant in Kennesaw soon.I was able to express my compliments to the cook on our way out easily with the open kitchen design. The ambiance is very classy--warm lighting, upscale decor, and a layout that invites you to relax and stay a while. I chose a Casa Fuente cigar, expertly recommended by Chris, the resident cigar sommelier. He knows the humidor inside and out. Paired it with a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, crafted by Bezi, who was not only skilled but super friendly and welcoming. Talked sports with some locals--Tampa Bay teams, cigars, and whiskey. The crowd was relaxed and conversational, which made the experience even better. But the standout? The steak. I ordered the ribeye after my cigar, and it was incredible.
