You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this place to open! Finally!! Taps is part of the Ph'east food hall. They have multiple beer Taps( which makes this beer nerd very happy), packaged beer (bottles & cans), cocktails, wine and sake. The beer list is a mix of local favorites ( Creature Comfort, Good Word, Six Bridges, Wild Heaven) and some out of state goodies ( Allagash, Ology!, Jester King! Yay a Saison!, Revision) No Japanese beers on tap but they did have them in bottles /cans. Haha I also love the title "Industrial beers" which are your traditional In Bev American style (crap) beers (sorry I'm a craft beer enthusiast. Not sorry) But if that's your thing they are there. Taps does flights as well as a small pour and large pour. I believe its 8oz/12oz. I'm sure it will depend on ABV as the higher the ABV the more likely it will be a smaller pour. You can belly up at the bar, go on the left side to order a drink to carry back to a table orrrr one of the wonderful tap servers will get you a drink from your table. Considering this is an order at the counter food hall, I love you can order drinks at your table. Today was the soft opening and it was packed! I imagine it will stay that way because we don't have to many Asian food options on this side of town. I definitely recommend you make your way there and try some of everything! I can't wait to ge back to try some sake. PS : Taps you should do sake flights. I think that would be WONDERFUL!!

It's located at the corner of Battery Avenue and Heritage Court. It's cool to have a variety of Asian food in one place and having a beer and spirits at the same time . Four words I describe this place . Cool-Authentic-Variety-Fun

This is one of my new favorite bars. I have been here three times since they opened. Great selection of Japanese Whisky, curated craft beers and craft cocktails on tap. Located in the Ph'east food hall, Taps has lots of things you cannot find at most other places. For example, they carry Yamazaki 12 year Single Malt Japanese Whisky, one of my favorites. The bar staff is amazing, specifically Colin and Omar. They are the bartenders I have come in contact with on my three trips to Taps. Omar twice and Colin once. They both are very knowledgeable and make bartending look easy. I ate some Laotian food from Snack Boxe Bistro and Omar recommended Beerlao, a light Laotian Lager that went well with the sweet and spicy wings I had. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.

At the heart of Ph'East is the Tap at Ph'East beer bar where you can grab a cocktail, an IPA, a stout, and even a glass of wine. They have something fun every day of the week, our favorite is Tiki Tuesday and they have the perfect drink for it: Scorpion. It's Tiki Heaven! Marrying a taste of the islands with rum, cognac, orange, lemon, and more, it reminds us of a drink you would sip under at a beach bar on a hot Summer day. Don't forget the little umbrella. Plus, we sampled some new local beers like John's favorite the Nolan IPA from Reformation, which he describes as refreshing and slightly hoppy on the back! I (Liz) got a new stout, The Breury Bakery BA Stout with vanilla, cinnamon, and cherry. It's a hefty and boozy stout! Overall, they have a great assortment of cocktails and beers for any drink lover!

Service was quick and friendly, and we were seated at an outdoor table that had a great view of the area. But the food! I got the brisket "burger", which is actually a chopped brisket sandwich, and it was really, really good. The fried brussels sprouts are amazing, with an Asian chili kind of sauce. BF ordered the smoked chicken plate and I was like, yeah that sounds kinda boring but what came to the table was actually so good I wished I'd ordered that too. He liked his Brunswick stew but would skip the jalapeno cornbread next time because it was just ok. We didn't have the kids with us, so I had a spicy marg that had big slices of jalapenos in it, and it was pretty good for the price. I'd definitely come back here if in the area.

You get it. $7 for a tiny cup of coleslaw is outrageous, except at a ballpark. The food was fine. Nothing we had really stood out, although the brisket on my Texas sandwich was pulled-apart tender. It comes with onion, pickles, and yellow mustard. Some BBQ sauce would have been better, but the brisket was good. The best thing we had were the fried pickles. The ranch they come with is really good. They have a very nice selection of craft beer and your standard beer, and T's cocktail with grilled pineapple was really good. Our server was very good and attentive. There are lots of places to eat at in the Battery before and after games. This spot is worth trying, especially for the beer selection.

The food was great. My burger was cooked to order and had great flavor. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their burgers as well. Thinking back, I believe that after an awkward silence, I just started giving my order. As I was speaking, another customer interrupted and asked for their water glasses. I can only assume because this guy forgot to give them the glasses when water was ordered. The register guy proceeded to roll his eyes in response to the question. I then resumed my order. We paid, and sat at the table. I went to the bar to order a couple of drinks. Two bartenders were present. One of the two was obviously very new to the job. She struggled to make simple drinks and moved behind the bar very slowly. The other bartender however was fast and efficient, but couldn't do the work of two people. It took 12 minutes to get 2 draft beers. The bar seats were 3/4 full. Busy, but not overwhelming if both bartenders had been working efficiently. I returned to the table, and went to the restroom to wash my hands. The sink had no hot water and no hand towels. No blower either. When I returned, our food was at the table minus the truffle fries I had ordered. At first I assumed that they would be coming with them shortly. A week later, I still haven't received them. I finally flagged down a food runner who said they would check on them. 8-10 minutes later, she returned asking if I had received them. I said no. She did offer to get them right now or remove them from my check. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait, so neither of those things happened. This was a disappointing experience. My burger was good, not great. If it weren't for the under trained, and what seemed to be an unhappy front of house staff, I might consider it again. I really don't see that happening any time soon.

What a liquor store!!…read more I visited Local Vine with my partner after a movie date and I'm so glad that we checked it out. Although I'm not currently drinking, I am a wine lover and my bf appreciates a really fine bourbon and whiskey, so it was worth a peek inside. This place is huge! We visited on a Saturday and it was extremely clean, quiet and not incredibly busy, which I love. The store was quite organized, laying out the different types of spirits, beers and wines in a very clear way. They offered an insane variety of various brands, from local to international, low-cost to big bucks, there was really something in stock for everyone. We walked down a few aisles just seeing what they offered, welcoming my bf to give me some background on some of the finer options for sale in the whiskey/bourbon section. I did notice that there weren't many employees on the floor to help guide folks through the selections, but luckily I was there with my own connoisseur. When we went to find some ciders to take home, I was almost disappointed as there wasn't much variety in the fridges but when we went down another aisle, we found some great options that were on the shelf. Some we hadn't even heard of before! Really a great store full of different spirits, mixers and more for all kinds of vibes, we'll be back!

I will go out of my way to visit Local Vine because of the variety and selection they offer for craft beer, wine, and champagne. I usually go for the Georgia craft and typically can find fresh Wild Leap, Firemaker, Scofflaw, Monday Night, and New Realm in stock. The staff is always friendly and everyone is usually willing to help. If you are looking for a specialty liquor for any event, chances are you can probably find it here. They will ask you if you are a member but you don't have to be one to purchase. Pro tip: if you check in, you can get a discount off bulk purchases (wine bottles for vino lovers).

The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back!
