Still one of Las Vegas' most progressive venues in terms of booking I'm not sure staff was prepared for the pent up demand leading into The Strokes 9/27/25 show at The Chelsea. Opened by a muffled performance from Broncho entry lines extended nearly 1,000 deep for GA and crowd control was an afterthought. Kudos to the sound team for correcting before The Strokes hit the stage, but less so to ushers who let the floor get crowded well past capacity.

Saw Chelsea Handler last night. The show was very funny. She has such a mouth on her I love her. This venue is great, anywhere you sit is a good view. See my pics

BELOW EXPECTATIONS... I honestly thought The Chelsea was going to blow my socks off and it didn't. It had poor acoustics for an intimate venue. I also found the entrance to be confusing and hard to find. It's got a nice stage but it's honestly one of the weaker venues on The Strip. I came for a Conan Gray concert, it was his Found Heaven tour and this boy had to yell at the top of his lungs just so we can hear him. It's a shame that the audio was drowning him out and the speakers sounded muffled all over the venue. I stood on the General Admission floor and it had a weird bendy quality to it. Every time you jump on the floor, it kind of jiggles and catapults you. Not sure if I like it or not. I didn't see any food or concession options, it's a shame that everything is so hard to find at this venue. Also, their lines for merchandise are so long as the theater does not have space to open more than one merch booth. I will say that the staff who were tending to the early General Admission line were sweet and helpful. I didn't like the wristband folks though, they had bad vibes.

A Great show in an awesome theater! I think every seat is a good seat. Employees were helpful and nice and greeted everyone with a smile and enthusiasm. Nice clean theater. I can't wait to go again.

First time at The Chelsea, located at the Cosmopolitan for a show. The theater is located on the third level, which you can accessed by escalator. The two level theater seats 3,200 and there are bars selling drinks. We were hear for some comedy and were excited to see Chelsea Handler: Chelsea at The Chelsea, The Las Vegas Residency. The ushers were friendly and led us to our 10th row floor seats. The floor seats are banquet/convention hall type chairs, so no arm rests. Since the seats are attached to each other, it does get a little tight especially if one of your seatmates to the left or right of you is on the larger side. As for Chelsea, she was funny and put on an entertaining show. After the show, she hung around the stage and took selfies with fans and signed autographs. So that was very cool of her. The Chelsea, a nice venue for a show. Curious how it would be for a concert.

I waited a long time to get to see Zucchero in the U.S., so I was really excited to go to this concert! The sound was great and Zucchero did not disappoint. However, the floor seats at the Chelsea were not staggered. Every row and seat were perfectly lined up. I thought I chose good seats; Floor3, Row 10, but with a seat directly in front of mine, it was not good. The tallest guy in the theater sat smack dab in front of me. I had to strain and lean to the left or right to see the stage. I was so disappointed in that arrangement and it really dampened what was a once in a lifetime event. I really don't understand why venues do that. Here's a picture of my view

The sound was good, since it's a smaller venue and I got floor seats so we could be closer to the band. What I didn't know was that the seats were not secured and people behind us kept leaning on oir seats and pushing us forward. To be comfortable 25 to 50% of the person next to me got in front of me so the could have space to enjoy the show.....it's not too helpful for me to view things since I'm petite and they blocked my view. Aside from that. I think it's an OK space. But I thought other venues were small, this was sardine style packing.

3.5 * seems about right in reality...the venue is in a very strange location, 3rd floor and waaaay in the back from the escalators...the venue itself is nice, the sound is very good and the sight lines are as well...on this night, Dispatch concert, they had banquet chairs set up on the main floor area...on prior visits it was GA and there were no chairs which was much nicer in my opinion...the ushers were cool and showed you to your seat if need be...the bar is a total joke from selection to prices...beer selection is awful, 4 beers to choose from? We walked to the main casino during one of the set breaks and found a better deal in a gift shop, they did allow us to pour our drinks into a plastic cup before re-entry...the bands on this night probably would have better suited to play someplace like the Brooklyn Bowl as the crowd was very minimal and the ambiance was somewhat antiseptic...Recommend in future if the show is worthwhile, would definitely keep in mind the bar situation in advance though....

I went here for the first time on Friday evening for the Dream Theater concert. Venue is difficult to find within the confusing Cosmopolitan hotel. No signs. Good luck finding the venue. Venue is strange and hard to navigate. Show was excellent. Staff was friendly. I'll go to another show here.

The Zepeda & Hughes boxing match at the Chelsea (Cosmopolitan Casino), was definitely worth the price of admission. The venue was packed and it appeared the majority of attendees were Zepeda supporters. Also, in attendance was former boxer and fight promoter, Oscar de La Jolla. This was my first time at the Chelsea and I was impressed with its size and overall design, especially, for it being inside a casino. There were two bars on the first level serving cocktails and a variety of snacks. They were a bit pricey but not surprising given the venue. The fight itself was very entertaining with Zepeda coming in as the heavy favorite and winning the fight after Hughes' corner requested the fight be stopped. Although, the exact reason for the stoppage was not known, it appeared it may have been due to the numerous devastating body punches delivered by Zepeda throughout the fight, which, may have resulted in Hughes being injured.

Got to finally see Fluffy and Matt Rife at this venue and wow, this was an awesome place. Very simple and small and the seats were comfortable. Everyone that worked here was so helpful. When we got to our seats, one of them was actually missing and they were so fast at wanting to get another chair where it belonged. It can be a bit cold here but it's not horrible. They are strict when it comes to using your phone. You're literally not allowed to even look at it or have it in front of you, they will catch you and they will kick you out. I saw a few people not listening and making excuses. But overall, this was an awesome venue to watch shows.

Came back to the Chelsea and was able to snag a floor seat for comedian Tom Segura. This place is huge! I'd seen him perform at the theater in Mirage and this Cosmo theater is massive in comparison. I noticed a couple things on this new visit that hasn't improved my 3-star opinion about it since my previous visit. In the words of YMH: The main bar was huge with long lines; I'm the Water Champ so I skipped and went straight to my seat. Main Mommy DJ Dadmouth kept the show High and Tight. I Like That. But during the show you could hear all the Cool Guys and Machines Within on the upper floor bar chitter chatting Through the Fence. I mean, they were probably Just Glassin' and using Washcloths. When a show ends Would You Rather exit the building or just stand in place? Egress from the Chelsea is just R-Worded. I mean, c'mon, Get Your Life.

So much to yelp about. Lets start with Ticketmaster - tickets to Billy Idols' residence show (we caught the last one) - nowhere anywhere does it say 'The Chelsea'. So if you've never been to the Cosmo before, you have no on the idea where to go. Finding someone to ask - problematic. Lines for beverages (full bar) - oh my god what a clusterf. random lines snaking forever 20-25 people deep, with each transaction taking several minutes. no line control. And of course insanely high prices. Beverages are poured into plastic cups, no lids. Security is another cluster. good lord does this casino have NO IDEA HOW TO PROCESS CROWDS? People yelling "theres THREE LINES", yet there is no line control, again, no way to see what they are talking about. We got in just as the show started, so its dark, harried ushers trying to find seats, and omigod the 1st floor seating is flat. We are in the very back of the floor. WORST SEATS EVER, as if you ever get to sit. Well we did sit, watching peoples backs for some time. If youre not 6' or better forget about seeing anything. My wife was P***ED. Sounds was dialed in, bass thumping. Lights were great. But not once was Billy on the big screen where maybe we couldve seen him. Steve Stevens was featured several times tho. The seats were just loose banquet chairs, not fixed in anyway, so that all became a shambles. Bonus that the Chelsea is served by a single narrow escalator. Cool beans that. Sad that I fully expected the floor seating to have some slope, like many other venues. It would be nice if tktmaster could indicate viewing angle. If I was ever forced to come here again I'd insist on buying the balcony.

We were in town to attend the BTS concert on May 23, so this was a last-minute decision. As such, there were only five seats remaining for the May 24 performance. I ended up with two non-adjacent seats in Section 204 for a total of $831.85, purchased through TIcketmaster. We dined at Caramá by Wolfgang Puck, which is close to the House of Blues. We left the restaurant at 6:30pm, thinking we'd walk right in as our tickets "said" 7pm. Instead, we found a long line of patrons winding around the venue, almost to the escalators to the tram station. There was a sign stating that doors open at 7, performance at 8:10pm. Sheesh, had we known this, we could have taken our time in Caramá. After passing through security, we could go to the merch line or into the Music Hall. We opted for the merch line, where we picked up a t-shirt and a bag of guitar picks. Entry to the Music Hall requires walking down a set of stairs to the floor level and then up several sets of stairs to get to the upper level. Section 204 is accessed by walking down from the upper-level aisle. My friend went down to row B, seat 14, which was the aisle seat on her row. I was three rows back, in seat 12, the third seat in from the aisle. Each seat gave us unobstructed views of the stage down below. I really liked sitting in the upper level ... I think we had better views of the musicians than those sitting on the floor. There is a bar at the front of each side of the upper level of the Music Hall so one could get a drink without having to go back downstairs. Each did brisk business throughout the evening. Carlos and his 8-member band played for two hours. He took very little or no time between songs, but he did chat with the audience on two occasions. During this performance, he had a second keyboardist (I didn't catch his name) to the right of guitarist Tommy Anthony. His drummer, Cindy Blackman Santana, is a whirlwind ... She played nonstop during the evening with explosive power and energy. She was amazing! I really enjoyed his concert, maybe a bit more than the BTS concert the night before. Sacrilege? No, Santana has been active for sixty years. He is legendary ...It was a "not to be missed" opportunity to experience one of my heroes growing up. On a personal note: Carlos used a PRS Private Stock 24-fret McCarty Singlecut Trem with 23k gold leaf applied over the maple top. It's a stunning piece of art. PRS made twenty copies in 2016 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Private Stock team. Alas, I want one! If you have an opportunity to see Carlos Santana, do it! The Music Hall in the House of Blues is a perfect venue to experience a legend. Highly recommended!

Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

So sad they don't like customers who pay money…read more Went on a random Tuesday. Immersive shows that require audience participation are tough even in Vegas (ex: Disco Show closed down, same premise.) If your time slot group is small, everyone is shy or somehow Southern Baptist and don't believe in dancing, the experience is going to be not as fun. The show starts out as a reggae dance hall with a DJ and a bar. The drinks are super expensive. Make it more affordable and I think people will loosen up. Subsequent rooms have a fairytale quality in retelling the story of Bob Marley. If you didn't see his biopic prior to coming to the show, I'd advise doing that so you have the gist of the timeline of his life. The show is heavily dependent on how much you're willing to dance to the music with whoever else is with you. If everyone stands around while the performers dance around you, it's going to feel like a long show. When I went, I had just arrived back from a cruise to Jamaica maybe 2-3 days earlier. Of course I came back with a terrible sunburn and physically couldn't dance because my skin hurt so bad. Lol of course. I felt bad because I try to be a good sport so the performers don't feel bad if everyone isn't participating, but all I could do is sway. If you don't like to participate in shows, are very shy, don't like reggae this show isn't for you. If you like to dance and you're interested in Bob Marley, I'd go to this. Visited: October 2025

The cast is incredibly talented and genuinely passionate about the music, and the production is beautifully done. The way they mix live music with immersive visuals and audience interaction makes you feel part of the experience, not just watching it. The show takes you into different rooms with each one having its own experience. They even have a few bars set up throughout so you can grab a drink along the way. A must see show in Vegas!
