Huge back looks scary and is too dark and so loud. One pool table, the back bar needs to be taken out! I love the ban last night but couldn't hear them sing some songs! I couldn't hear the next day! They need some serious adjustments to the loud instruments. Get rid of the mean, rude dude at front door who's taking the money! Customer service is key to success! I seen people why that establishment is not crowed. The only catering to certain customers. Not everyone is welcome.

Which one guy on Saturday decided to break this rule. Lawn chair are permitted to use. I prefer Friday night events as opposed to Saturday nights because Saturdays are CROWDED. Also parking can be a nightmare. However it's great family fun. There are restrooms available they also sell snacks and beverages (I bought a bottle of soda for $4!! I can only assume that most of the renovations were behind the scenes in the theater itself because the outside left me wanting! Firstly, there were some nice improvements like trees. They did try to put in some plants, but I have to say that was the biggest disappointment. It looked like someone had just thrown some random plants around those trees in. It seemed like a very amateurish job. The second big disappointment was they have this huge Miller sculpture sign on the top of the hill where people sit to watch shows. People completely cover that hill during major events and that big monstrosity is only going to keep people from being able to see the show, not to mention that I'm sure some kids are going to try to climb that thing so it won't just be an obstruction, it will be a potential safety hazard. If they had to put it up at all,, they should've put it at the base of the hill on the back side. It will still be visible from Herman Park Drive. Other than those things I can't really see that much improvement. I love going to Miller! My one big suggestion is to take that sign off the hill before someone gets hurt. And there's probably going be a ton of complaints because of the obstruction of the view.

Parking kind of sucks here so I would suggest coming in early and if you find something in the parking lot or by the mechanic shop, back your car in because people will likely park behind you and it'll be pretty tight getting out later. There is also street parking around the neighborhoods but check the signs to make sure you don't need a permit.

Playing The Birth of the Cool from beginning to end. That has been one of my favorite concerts I have been to in Houston. I have also seen some benefit concerts and auctions that are always great fun. The vibe here is great. There are two levels. Tables scatterd on the first floor, and a balcony on the second with more tables and a bar. Often when I come, the place is packed, and people make a seat on the stairs. Which is actually pretty comfortable. Great seats throughout, and awesome acoustics. A hidden gem in the Rice Village area, and one of my favorite places to see a show.
