[[HIGHLIGHT]]A cool sports bar that has a big outdoor area with chairs and benches.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As well as an upstairs. The staff was nice. The drinks are a really good price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a cool environment to it for sure!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We stopped by Social Beer Garden HTX for St. Patrick's Day and had a really good time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went in the early afternoon, and the atmosphere was already lively without being overly crowded, which made it easy to relax and enjoy everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.

Came here with two of my friends on a Saturday night, and I thought it was a cool spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super spacious - perfect for big groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks were great and reasonably priced. I hate midtown but I would gladly come back here!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Social Beer Garden is a great spot in Midtown to meet up with friends and enjoy drinks together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking lot at the back of the building is small but complimentary. There is also plenty of street parking nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With a fairly large outdoor patio and two floors of interior space, the beer garden is great for groups to socialize.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the beer garden itself doesn't sell any food, there are typically one or two food trucks available throughout the evening. There are many types of drinks including cocktails, shots, beers, and even non-alcoholic options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Order at the bar and find a spot to chill downstairs or head upstairs along the beer can wall so you can play some pool, darts, ping pong, or even Jenga.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You'll need to leave your drivers license with the bartender downstairs to borrow the equipment. There's also outdoor space on the second floor too. I like that they have frequent trivia nights as well as the option to reserve a table for your group ahead of time. Service is quick and no frills, just like the atmosphere.

Was introduced to the coolest beer pub tonight on San Jacinto via my TimeLeft social group. Weather is pleasant at 10:00 for being outside. And these swings are great. Plenty of street parking.

I love everything about this place. Not too crowded but enough people to mingle and jingle. The drinks are good and happy hour is worth visiting because you get good drinks for a little price. There is an outdoor and indoor seating. If you want food grab tacos or the fries from the taco truck parked on the property. Everything was so yummy. The place is decorated nicely for Christmas. I love the beer wall it offers personality. Happy Yelping!

Vibes Vibes Vibes! I came to this bar a long time ago initially and wondered upon it again recently. The music is soooo clutch! They were playing all the jams! There's an outside then inside and upstairs then an outside with food trucks! They have an array of beers on tap and bomb mixed drinks! We were here on a Friday and there was a drag show to close it out! Listen there's something for everyone here! Anyway this is a cool around the way bar, get into it!

Attended a music Bingo event here. Fun vibe for sure! Service was great. The food was provided by a food truck outside I'm told. I sent someone to get it for me. The things I found most interesting were all the swings out front. Brought back some nostalgia. I was to busy walking in to get a picture, but I'm sure someone has captured them. I only accessed the main floor for the event. The event was fun! The venue itself, I didn't find friendly for persons with mobility problems. Entry is okay, but inside seats were metal barstools with no back, placed around pub style tables. So I sat on my walker the whole time, as I didn't see any option for lower seating. There's also a rooftop which offers a fun relaxing vibe with patio games. I'm not aware of an elevator to access this area. Outside of this I had a good time playing Bingo (Free) with prizes! The bingo vendor was excellent and very upbeat and engaging. Pro Tip: You better know your music! Great spot to just kickback.

Came for their Book fair for Adults. Beyond the Covers. I had no idea this place was so freaking huge. Great patio and upstairs area. There were so many people of all ages. Such fun vendors. The music was great too. It totally blew my mind. Where have I been all this time?!? So fun here.

Came here at a slow hour. Me & my husband was the only one at the bar. No one greeted us. I had to request for a drink cause no one asked if we needed anything. So I Won't be coming here back. 0 out of 0 for service.

My wife and I went here for an hour to kill time while waiting for an event that evening. They were a lot of people downstairs playing some type of Bingo game. So we headed upstairs and played some of the game they had. I really like their beer and sour selection. I was able to try a few new things. It's a great place to hang out and get some good drinks.

Considering the recent shutter of other places (#2) within the hospitality umbrella, it's not too big of a surprise that Wooster's would also be in the crosshairs. The space was always a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, which combined with its dedicated parking lot made this an easy drinking outlet for all kinds of occasions. The intimate indoor space was lovely and well ventilated, and it felt like there wasn't ever a moment where the bar wasn't slammed. The outdoor space was much of the same, with lots of tables and chairs, and even the trendy swing chairs facing the city. The only thing that was a little bit of a liability were those open flame heaters; it would only take on person to accidentally walk into one or trip onto it. For libations, the drinks were well priced, well made, and always potent. I appreciated the aesthetics, as well as the bartenders who made them. The only part that wasn't exciting was the limited food menu, which did its part as munchies for the drink heavy crowd, but was mediocre otherwise. The space is already undergoing the new facelift of a separate concept, one of which I hope will do the area justice, just as much as Wooster's did. ____________ (#1) The Kirby Group. (#2) R.I.P. Let me know what ya think! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello, fellow seekers of flavorful places! What a most quaint and charming establishment. I felt wholly transported across the sea into the English countryside itself. I greatly anticipate passing the night here, if only to discover how utterly darling the bedchambers may be. Truly, this is the utmost perfect outing for one wishing to feel like a lady of the 1700s: adorned in fine dress, exchanging delightful gossip amongst companions over high tea. One comes, above all, for the atmosphere and the splendidly crafted cocktails. We sampled but little from the kitchen, though we did partake of the sausages. I confess to a small disappointment, as the promised fig proved rather shy in flavor, truly such a pity, for I had selected the dish expressly to accompany my fig and rye drink. All considered, the service was exceptional. Our waiter appeared with impeccable timing (both attentive without intrusion and ensured our drinks arrived with admirable haste). Kindred spirits, Bella

I went because this was the only bar open during Labor Day when I had guest visiting. So I would say it's a pretty nice location, considering the fact that it is always consistently open. They had a good menu with different cocktails that were fun and fruity. Otherwise, I did also see people could order coffee at the bar and have different espresso drinks. It looks like the drink that I ordered is also no longer on the menu. The bar prides itself on having a rotating meal changing menu so I think that's a lot of fun when it comes to trying new drinks and new combinations and it truly shows the artistry of the bartender. There was the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was more of a dimmer, elegant and darker tone. I can see it being pretty classic if you were to go at night time. The bar set up was really beautiful and they had different 2 to 4 seating wooden tables. Overall, the inside would probably only fit around 20 people. I was very sad because we couldn't sit outside. The day before it had rained so every outdoor seating was wet. But I was told that they had a beautiful seating outside with a garden and a pool. Service was good. The bartender came out of the bar to take orders, give menus and give you the check. I will say that it got really busy at the end and it took a while to get our check. There's only one or two bartenders working at one time so if there's multiple people with different drinks that are ordered, it will take a little bit longer. Not hard to find, it's located to the right as you walk in. What brought us here is that it's listed as one of the top 50 bars in Houston in Houstonia Magazine. Service (3/5): While we had a waitress, she was slow to greet us and slow to check up on us. It's a small bar and there isn't a ton of seating so it's not like she was overwhelmed. For a fancy hotel, you expect better. Maybe sitting at the bar is better than sitting at some seats as we did. Ambiance (4/5): The Colombe d'Or is a beautiful hotel and Bar No. 3 reflects that. It's an elegant spot to grab a drink, although small. Food (N/A): While there are expensive items on the menu, I had dinner earlier that night so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (3/5): Bar No. 3 is known for its cocktails so I focused on the cocktail list. The list isn't large but it features a nice selection. Like the food, you're going to pay a premium. I enjoyed my adult beverage but felt like it was a bit overpriced. Hitting up hotel bars isn't a common occurrence in Houston unless you're a traveler. For Bar No. 3 to be the only hotel bar on Houstonia's top 50 is a feat in itself.
