I did buy it in the winter which is understandable but I called the owner to try and figure it out and he stated that he tested it in the garage (during the winter). So I don't think that would be an accurate testing plus to add onto that, make sure that you can get the AC warranty if you decide to come here (don't recommend doing so anyway). Yea I did get the warranty and I thought the ac was a part of it and guess what IT WASNT. I'm thankful for the car but they could've done better ways that I wouldn't have to go through hoops trying to figure out why and how they didn't notice it in the first place. I'm genuinely upset because this could've been avoided if they would inspect their vehicles better. But that's just me I guess.

They came back to me to say that the car was very low on oil and that it needed a $10,000 engine. I have a warranty and they told the warranty company that the car didn't have any oil which was not true. Told me it would be $1587 to take apart the engine to find out what was wrong. Now the warranty company won't cover any repairs, including the starting problem. Baumanns told me the starting problem was the battery but when we got a new battery, the starting problem still existed. Tested old battery and it was fine. The problem was the alternator. Wasted $200 on a new battery. They also said they did an oil change on the car and then charged me $110 for it. My new mechanic changed the oil and they are telling me the oil was old so Baumanns didn't actually even do an oil change. I have called them multiple times to get answers and was told someone would call me, but they did not. This is a disreputable company.

When received car - have since been told there is no built in navigation system and I have to pay a monthly subscription fee to use navigation. Sales person admits to providing the wrong information. Using prior owners account to access navigation system when demonstrating use. Have asked for resolution from company. Offered to cover 1 year of subscription. Will keep car much longer than 1year. Cost of adding navigation system is between $5,000-6,000. Have opened complaint through Toyota customer service. Have called for follow up approximately 6 times and told I will receive call back from manager, and manager has never returned call. I called dealership myself and asked to talk with manager who was not available, and was told he (Matt) will call me back and he has not. Sold by giving false information from dealership.

After the initial nine days, I learned the truck had an airbag code and needed to go to their Norwalk location. Then, when I picked it up on July 29th, I found the ParkSense feature was inoperable with a service code, plus there was a new scratch on the front right fender flare. They only provided a tiny Kia rental after I pushed hard. Finally I picked up my truck on August 5th only to find the scratch still there. To top it all off, three days after finally getting it back, I was pulled over because my taillights weren't working; someone had switched the lights from auto to off. I won't be returning.

Took the car back and sent it over to Fredericktown Chevrolet, where they infact had the connectors in stock, and the car is now ready to be picked up 2 days later for a fraction of the price we got quoted from steinle. The absolute worst experience I've ever had in my life involving customer service and overall work being completed. Also mentioned before, we purchased the vehicle from here and that was a horrible experience as well. Salesman made absolutely 0 attempts to start a conversation with us, sat on his phone while paperwork was being done. Entire process took well over 3+ hours. Bought the car late January, have had the car 7 months, probably have been able to drive it maybe 4 of those months because it has been in the shop with constant issues.
