Horrible quality of food, we ordered boneless chicken biryani family pack. Restaurant packed Old used rice, mixed with some artificial colors. No taste, no biryani flavor. We never tasted such kind of worst Biryani before. Also, they packed frozen gulab jam as a dessert.

Here is the story. We literally ordered food 10 minutes before closing, arrived there 5 minutes after they closed. When the call was made he informed us that it would be too late to eat inside but he will provide enough plates and utensils so we can eat out in the parking lot. For about 10 of us we ordered 2 chili chicken, 1 lamb biryani, 2 chicken biryani and 1 vegetable biryani. The food was tasty and abundant to fill 11 of us who were very hungry after bar hopping in the Palatine area. The owner was really a pleasure to work with. We ordered online and called us when out of politeness as he wanted to know the heat level on our dishes. He provided all the necessary side dishes and extras to make sure our dining area which was pretty much the parking lot was pleasurable.

Saturday night dinner we arrived came inside and happily greeted by the host. We ordered butter chicken and it comes with white rice. Veggie samosas, plain naan and butter naan. Potato Dosas which was amazing. The butter chicken is my favorite here with the white rice mixed together and then some butter naan. The veggie samosas are the best and have a little spicy kick to them but it the perfect spice. The potato dosas is like a crepe but the potatoes inside are so good. The inside of place is nice and they have buffet style Sunday only.

Everything was really good except the nans...store bought. But most everything went with plain rice...but dessert was the hit of the Sunday buffet...omg the jamum was soooo good best since Bangalore..pyasam was really good... I had 2 helpings of the hakka noodles with the cabbage curry.mix them!!! Sweet sour hot.....and egg curry!!!!!!the yellow curry sauce was so epic. 19 a buffet...but for once...worth it. A good crowd...lots of veg and non veg....Telegu cook and personnel....in short. This place is a do over!!!

Organized my dad's birthday party with his friends at Bawarchi. Had a great experience from planning the event with Nick, to having great food. They were very accommodating to our request, service was fast and good. Had a great time and recommend Bawarchi for more big events.

The food is surprisingly good here. I wasn't sure what to expect going in and I didn't think it would be so noisy at 2 on a Sunday afternoon. It's a family space with lots of families and children, so it's a happy volume. Food was outstanding all around. Gobi Manchuria was crisp and with a sauce reminiscent of Buffalo and not sweet (thankfully). The Avakai curry was even better. It's spicy by default, but not ridiculously so. We ordered it medium (with the server's warning that it's a Southern Indian dish and more spicy) and it was roughly medium-hot, a comfortable level. Very flavorful beyond the heat and the sauce had a nice texture as well. Against our better judgement (from a dietary perspective), we had the Double Ka Meetha dessert which, roughly translated, means double sweet and sticky dessert. (Actually, it doesn't mean that at all, sorry!) Anyway, it's something that they make on weekends and it's a very sweet honey bread with nuts and I can't do it justice. We enjoyed it. Service was great and we had a wonderful time here.

    Chicken tikka masala

The food is overpriced for what you get. Chicken masala was very tasty, however you get a small container with 6 small pieces of chicken for $14.50. The butter naan was burned to a crisp. It was hard and even dipping it in the sauce didn't make it soft. I had to air out my car from smelling burnt just from transporting the food to my house. I wish I would go back and show them the naan. Very disappointing. The green chili chicken was dry. Overall, we paid $75 for not enough of food. In regard to the restaurant, it was the first time I ordered from there or visited the place. The first impression of walking through the door is not pleasant. The glass door is dirty, sticky looking and it looks like it has never been cleaned. To be honest, opening that door made me feel gross. It only makes me question the cleanliness on the inside. Regarding the service, the gentleman who handed me the food seemed very nice.

The food is less than desirable. It is a self service restaurant but when paying they ask if u want to tip. No busboy. Water is free and you can refill it yourself. Like I said before...self service. We ordered the following: * Steamed Classic Momos - a couple were stuck to the plate and all the filling came out. The others were falling apart. The overall taste was not good. The chutney was spicy and not bad. * Punjabi Samosa - it tasted like frozen samosas reheated. Did not taste fresh. * Aloo Paratha - It was ok but tastes like it was reheated from frozen. Lots of ghee. * Paneer Tikka Masala - It was sweet and had zero spicy flavor. First time having any tikka masala taste sweet. * Palak Paneer - It tasted like grass. Tasty bites is a fast casual type of strip mall eatery…read more Solid vegetarian dosa option and their veg Indo Chinese slaps. They also bake a decent Indian veg pizza. Served individual. Worth a taste if pizza is on your mind but may not sway those wanting the traditional. My usual is a ghee dosa and gobi manchurian with gravy. They make their chutneys in-house and they are tasty. My singular largest gripe with dosa shops is the quality of chutneys and flavorings. If they don't get enough business the chutneys may go into the fridge or freezer. That's fine so long as they're watching how long it keeps in either storage. Also, when it comes time to use, they give it the time necessary to completely thaw. Discovering frozen chutney is a no-no and the flavor is different. Some dosa shops try newer flavors that just don't meet the expectations. These guys stick to what the fans know and they receive enough business that everything is fresh. Really wish this business was closer so that I could hit it more often but this area is quite a trek. **Specials are offered daily and on weekends /for games they run buffets. I wondered about the chefs they keep so I inquired. They have a trio?, anyway, trained chefs from different areas of India. This is important because dosa is mainly a staple of south India. Some other regional Indian restaurants try to offer it but fail at the production because their chefs don't know the finer details. They also offer newer styles of dosa variety. I am so stuck on the old school I haven't yet tried. Maybe you will?

These were the BEST manchurians I ever had. The gravy was super salty, so next time I would definitely get it without any gravy. The hakka noodles are soo tasty. The kaju masala was the best thing!! I still dream of the creaminess and full-flavored curry it has. I highly recommend anyone trying it.

The atmosphere was nice and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant start to the evening. Unfortunately, the food itself was just okay--nothing really stood out. We ordered a few different naans, including rosemary, butter, and garlic, but they all came out in the same basket and honestly tasted the same. There was no clear difference between them, which was disappointing. The biryani was also underwhelming. Since it was supposed to be Hyderabadi style, I was expecting deeper flavors and a bit more spice, but it lacked the boldness that usually makes that dish special. The shrimp dish was just okay as well. The one highlight of the meal was the chili chicken appetizer--that was definitely the best dish we had. The beer was good... but that's hard to mess up. Overall, considering the relatively high prices and the average quality of the food, it's probably not a place we'll return to.
