    Samosas

The food was amazing! Everything we ordered was to rave about and had delicious flavor, and you could taste the spices. We ordered the garlic naan twice throughout the dinner because it's just incredible! I could keep eating it. The chicken tikka masala and lamb curry was also incredible. We also got an order of the samosas, which I had never had before and I really enjoyed them. The service was really good from the beginning. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I liked the calm atmosphere, layout, and decor of the restaurant. I really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars due to the delicious food, good service, and atmosphere, but I couldn't because the women's bathroom is atrocious. I was shocked. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The walls, floors, sink, soap dispenser, garbage bin, and worst of all, the toilet was horribly dirty. This would be a 5/5 restaurant. A customer should be able to use a clean bathroom. I hope if the owner sees this review that he or she will take this into consideration. I have never mentioned something like this in one of my reviews, so I feel bad, but I had to say something.

Whole Fish pomfret with insides still in it

Normally I love the food and the whole fish that they sell here but on April 1st whoever was in the kitchen shouldnt cook nomore or be trained because the food tasted so weird and the fish had all of the insides still in it which they NEVER did before. $22 for this tiny cut fish that had only meat on one side and the other barely nothing on it and filled to the top in onions. I received about 18% fish and 82% vegetables as you can see in the picture. when they normally give a big fish with NO insides (liver, heart, etc). The dal Malkani tasted very weird and sweet for some reason so I ended up throwing it away. I been been to this place over 20-30 times So I know this isnt how their quality is. I'd gladly take down this review if im reimbursed or given the meal that I paid for. I spent $44. I ordered orka too and they were sold out so thats understandable. But the rest isnt

We came here with my family and it was a blast!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! The food was amazing! We ordered the Lasaniya Makhana, Lasuni Paneer, Butter Naan, and the Daal Tarka. It was a little spicy but it still tasted great!!!!!! I would definitely recommend and encourage you to try this place out!

Don't let the name fool you, the Foodie Lounge serves a large selection of Northern India classics, including British Raj dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala, prepared the same way as we've experienced everywhere else. India Foodie Lounge is located near downtown Bartlett, in a strip mall that now has a recently opened ALDI. My sister-in-law mentioned it to me on our visit (she knows how much I like Indian food), so my daughter and i stopped in for a visit on a Saturday (Happy Lunar New Year!) for lunch. They open at 11:30AM, and we came soon after. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and allowed to choose where we sat. While being given menus (which is large), she mentioned that they have a lunch buffet ($14.99 for weekend) that would be ready in 15 minutes. That was a nice surprise, so decided to do that. -- small salad consisting of sliced vegetables, with large papads (lentil crackers). -- Total of 9 dishes for self-serve, plus basmati steamed rice -- non-descript noodles (spaghetti style) -- pakora mix - not good, way too dense -- lentil vegi soup - didn't look appetizing -- 4 Vegetarian Dishes: Veg Korma, Daal Tadka, Palak Paneer (cottage cheese in spinach), Paneer Makhani (solid) -- 2 chicken dishes: Chicken Tikka Masala (had this multiple times, it was very good with a thick curry, tender chicken breast pieces); Chicken Curry (thigh pieces cooked in a non-descript curry sauce) -- rice was good -- no chutneys or yogurts to add it. I get why they don't do this, but it's an important missing piece. Where the AYCE buffet shined, were the add-ons that they will bring to your table, if you ask for. First is the Naan...they asked how many we wanted...so thinking that meant 'pieces', we asked for 3. No...they meant a serving (each being the size of a platter, cut into 4 pieces)....we did finish it (barely). We got the garlic naan, and it was very good....they used a lot of turmeric to give it a bright yellow color, and because it was served fresh, it was wonderful. The second dish they offer table-side is the classic tandoori chicken. It was 4 pieces of dark meat chicken, glazed with a beautiful red hue (not spicy though). Really missed having chutney on this one (maybe they would have brought if I asked for it). Both were prepared fresh, even though they were not busy, and shows pride in their food. Just these two things with water and rice would have been a wonderful meal. This is incredible value, and worth 5 stars. Service was adequate...just need to keep asking the various servers for what you want. There was Indian music playing in the background (The Best Songs of Imraan Hashmi), and the space is very large with plenty of seating. With the word 'foodie' in the name, it's clear the owners are trying to attract a non-Indian crowd. With the observation that the Buffet is not mentioned in either their website or their menu and their table set-up is more for table service, it seems like it has been added recently to try to drum up more business. Hoping it works...this restaurant would be a nice long term addition to the Bartlett food scene.

There are some items here that really shine. Their traditional Indian dishes are very good here. Quality- chicken tikka masala is probably one of the best I've had. It had a lot of chicken, the curry was really thick, and I can taste all the seasoning they put in there. It wasn't too spicy so nothing was overpowered. The shrimp vindaloo was also good. They are generous with the shrimp here and the seasoning was thorough. The mango lassi is thick and sweet. Perfect after a spicy dish. The chicken korma was not very good though. It was fried too much and had barely any chicken. Quantity- they give a good amount here. Atmosphere- big with lots of space. No annoying music or lights and not dark. Service- good and fast.

Quick service, beautiful restaurant, and the food was hot and fresh on a cold rainy day. This is the type of Indian food that we love to eat, we will definitely be back!

I really love this place. Food was great! I still can't decide if I like the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala better bc they really are both great dishes. So much flavor from all the spices and ingredients they use! The chicken was cooked well - soft and juicy. The sauces were heavenly for both dishes. I didn't care for the samosas however the paneer pakora is absolutely delicious. The service was great, throughly explained what to expect from each dish. The place was pretty loud this time, which is expected since there was a larger group, maybe 20+ people celebrating an anniversary. It would have been nice if they had a separate room for large parties like that. Place was busy with smaller groups as well, which is great to see a small business doing so well. I cant wait to try more items from here, will try a dessert next time

My husband and I just had an excellent experience dining at India Foodie Lounge in Bartlett. The waitstaff was very attentive and we had excellent entrée selections. My husband is not a fan of something spicy, so the recommendation of chicken tikki masala was amazing.

Jbeez is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and I'm so glad we decided to check them out again after our visit…read moreover a year ago. They decorated the dining area very nice. Tables are best, tidy and the place is very clean. The Pakistani food is delicious, made fresh daily and they offer halal meat entrees. The menu has expanded quite a bit and offers dishes for every palette from non spicy to spicy both vegetarian and various meats. They had a huge catering order of over 50 Nihari containers that smelled and looked really good! (I'll have to try that next time too!). The Mediterranean Grill items provide hummus, salad and rice accompaniments! I ordered the boneless chicken breast shish kabab which had a generous amount of meat. We also ordered the chicken tikka which came with 4 pcs (2 leg quarters). All the meat had nice seasonings, flavor and were not overly spiced. We ordered 2 lacha paratha's to accompany all the chicken that were really tasty. Even though we were full, we couldn't stop eating the rest of the paratha's! The chai and kheer was spot on and not to be missed! We plan on returning on a weekend to try their puri halwa. The owners are very friendly and make sure you are fully satisfied and happy with your meals. It's a great place for real authentic Desi food!

Our friends were visiting from Michigan and wanted to take us out to lunch, so we chose Beez…read morebecause it was close to home. It turned out to be a great choice for a casual, healthy meal. Beez is a small, counter-service restaurant--somewhere between fast food and a sit-down restaurant--but without sacrificing freshness or quality. The dining area is simple, clean, and pleasant, with a few tables for eating in. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was good. The portions were generous enough that we all ended up taking food home. My favorite was definitely the falafel. They were fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Everything we ordered was satisfying, fresh, and well prepared, making it a great alternative to the typical fast-food lunch. If you're looking for something healthier that doesn't take forever, this is an excellent option. Overall, everyone in our group left happy. Good food, generous portions, friendly service, and a convenient location make Beez an easy place to recommend for a quick, satisfying Mediterranean lunch. According to the restaurant, it specializes in Mediterranean cuisine along with Turkish, Pakistani, and Indian-inspired dishes, so there is a wide variety of flavors to choose from. (ubereats.com)

Becoming immersed with wrap around aquariums and what not makes for an invigorating evening, plus steaks. You can upload pics and they will share in celebrating your occasion on the walls, which is cool. Happy greeters and servers. I have not tried the prime cuts of meat yet. I did try other items, however. Their nihari was legit. Their butter chicken was also very good, no sweetness thank goodness. Whenever I order chicken boti, I expect like 7 overly colored pieces with no seasoning. Their botis are large, many, marinated, and enough to feed 4 people. Biryani was pretty good and generous in quantity. Note, you will find "khade masale" (pieces of cinnamon stick, cardamom, whole cloves, etc) in it. Their fries, though listed as zaatar fries, were truffle fries, and daggone delicious. Knowing that frontier chicken is pretty bell-peppery, I ordered it anyway. It was raw bell peppery and just ok. Oh, the soup that is brought to you basically tastes like Campbell's vegetable soup with black pepper, I feel it isn't necessary. I liked the spice level, bravo for not taming the entrees. My summer solcai lemonade was just lemonade. The sunset blush and golden haze mocktails were yummy. For dessert, I loved my badam kheer. The rose petal garnish and almonds made it shine. Gulab jamun was hot and delicious. You get 3 fyi. The banana pudding cake slice is ginormous and if you like that flavor, you'll like the cake. You pay at the cashier. We were seen off very nicely. Hey man, if your eyeballs need stimulation, The Halal Steakhouse, brings an immersive ambiance to you, along with well presented food. You should try it at least once. I'm trying it twice.
