What a fabulous experience at a Korean bbq. It's been awhile since we had done a non-AYCE Korean bbq place and this was really good. The service was top notch and the food was premium quality, you could tell better than AYCE places. The meats were delicious and high quality. The side dishes were good too, they even had a beef tendon as a side dish- that alone could serve as a entree it was perfectly cooked and good flavor. Apparently that is only available as a side dish on the weekends. The service was phenomenal, while Korean restaurants sometimes can have a stereotypical of bad service, the service here was phenomenal, over the top.

Third time visiting, and Koreana still never fails to disappoint! Since we came on a Saturday, we got to try the beef banchan, and it was absolutely delicious. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Maggie--she was super attentive, helpful, and made our meal even better. Thanks again, Koreana, for another fantastic Korean BBQ experience!

My Korean friend brought a group of us gals here and made sure to tell us this is the only place she and her family will eat Korean BBQ in the burbs. That alone already told me we were in for a treat. I've had Korean bbq quite a few times, but I am by no means a master. I will say I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and offerings at Koreana. The space was recently updated with new grills and tables, and I noticed how the whole restaurant seemed very clean upon arrival. The banchan were so good I could have made a meal out of the sides. We ordered the Tteokbokki and a sample meat platter. Between 6 people it was plenty of food, and we were stuffed to the brim upon leaving. I enjoyed their version of Tteokbooki; it was spicy but still had a hint of sweetness. All the meat we ordered was deliciously seasoned and fresh. Overall, my favorite meats were the spare ribs and beef bulgogi. Can't wait to return!

Was very happy to find this wonderful KBBQ , food was out standing. We enjoyed the staff and how helpful and caring they all were. Environment was welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend giving them a try !

Spacious location with plenty of tables that has wonderful and traditional Korean BBQ. Our server was nice and professional. We ordered only beef bulgogi because that's what my group enjoy eating at KBBQ. We also got the beef tartar and it was delicious. All the sides were great. Definitely recommend this place for Korean BBQ in the suburbs.

It's good for Korean bbq! Very authentic and traditional meat and side dishes. All the meats were good and service was solid. Portions were big and even though it's not AYCE, it still left me very full. The owners are an old Korean couple it seems. I really liked the kimchi fried rice that they made at the end using the clay pot. Great spot for Korean bbq!

everything amazing at koreana! the side dishes, food& meats! been coming here last 2 years and the quality and taste always the same!

As a Korean girly who grew up in Korea for half my life, Imma say this is the BEST K-BBQ spot I've ever tried in IL! The portions are huge, the meat is super fresh, and the service was amazing. But the jjigae (soup) was literally the best I've ever had

10 Stars!! OMG! I heard angels sing after every bite. Cute little place with friendly owners and delicious food. Our new favorite place either an interesting concept of cooking your own food with the grill in the center of the table. We chose the $65 combo platter that included shrimp, beef bulgori, Chicken, pork, and short ribs. The meal comes with a soup, rice, and tons of sides. We will for sure be back and is a must try for others.

I would like this to be kept as secret honestly. The unmarinated kalbi is our favourite...well marbled and good quality! They use diff grills for diff meats and depends on what you order, there would be kimchi fried rice at the end :D They always have this super yummy kalbijjim kinda side dish...i had to exercise a lot of self control so not to overeat this side dish! LOL I also love their kitchen food...the only place i can find the bulgogi soup (i can never remember its korean name) that tasted similar to what I had in Seoul...i was sad that they discountined kitchen food and focused on bbq....

    Nice spread

We came on a Saturday night and had a reservation. The restaurant became quite busy but was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. The ribeye and the bulgogi were excellent and enjoyed our sake with dinner. I would definitely come here when in the mood for Korean BBQ.

Definitely the best Korean barbecue grill I've ever tried! I would recommend to everyone looking for good quality meat, friendly and accommodating staff, and unlimited side dishes! We have been coming here with family, friends, and coworkers and always a good time. We love this place and the staff who are always helpful and make sure our dinner is great! Super delicious food and worth it!

Korean grill that is the most similar to what you can get in Korea. Meat is super fresh and hand selected by the owners from local butcher shop(s). Don't get marinated meat, not because it is bad, but because their unmarinated kalbi is a must get. Also the only Korean bbq that knows how to really treat mountain tripe. Free rib tip side dishes between Friday to Sunday. The place is not fancy, but what kbbq should actually be. The service? It's Korean owned, you ask if you need something instead of asking them to come to you.

Portions are huge--the pulled pork cheese fries alone could feed 5 people. The ribs were delicious and a standout. Brisket was a bit on the dry side but still tender, and the burnt ends were good (just avoid the fattier pieces). Jalapeño cheddar brat was one of my top favorites. Absolutely worth getting! My son also got the jumbo wings. He said they were OK weren't his top favorite. Sides really impressed--cornbread, coleslaw, and baked beans were all flavorful and worth it. Mac and cheese was creamy but a little bland. The employee that was taking our order was very helpful. I'm glad I called because they had holiday hours today and glad they mentioned they are stopping taking orders at a certain time and I was able to place an order to go. It's in a private parking lot in a strip mall type set up. Their location is in the corner end of the lot closest to the main road. As you walk in, you can smell the barbecue and looking around. It's a nice spacious place. They also have a bar along with a full arcade game room. When I came in to pick up my order, they were pretty quick. The staff was friendly in the place was clean. As I got home, I unloaded the food, it was cute. They wished me a happy Fourth of July of my to go bag. This is what we ordered: -Full slab barbecue pork ribs, it was nice and smoky. They served the type of ribs that you have to work on chewing it tear off the bone a bit. It's not fall off the bone, soft meat which I prefer myself. I requested the Chicago Sweet barbecue sauce which I like the flavor, but keep in mind. It does have a black pepper taste to it if you're sensitive to spicy. -half a pound of brisket we requested the fattier side of our order. It was very good soft and juicy. I would definitely get this again. -side of Mac and cheese, this was pretty good. I get it again. The noodles were soft and cheesy. Keep in mind. There's also a little heat spiciness if you like it like that. -mini corn dogs and fries kids menu, the corn dog was OK however I felt it was a bit overcooked a little too crunchy and the hotdog ended up being a bit dry and the fries had some good flavor, but for some reason, it was overcooked as well, someone in the reviews made a comment it could be twice fried fries that made it looked dark which I'd rather have it golden color not dark overcooked fresh cut fries. I give the place 4/5 stars service and how clean the place is inside. I would give my food order, 3/5 stars overall 3.5 stars.. Overall, it was OK barbecue not sure if it's because I ordered at the end of their day or not of certain dishes over a bit dry, fried/cooked... I'll have to come back here when they first open and dine in and update my review as I like bbq and support local businesses.

It's hard to find good bbq in this area, especially with me being from Texas. In contrast the mac n cheese needed a little help with some salt. Otherwise it hit the spot. I quickly ordered the two meat combo with chopped brisket and pulled pork. I got the green chili, Mac and cheese as a side, as well as the classic coleslaw.
