John is super kind, helpful and made the process easy. No pushy sales vibes whatsoever. Would definitely buy from this company again.

When I brought this up, the salesman said he didn't know why it was happening and then checked his phone and told me the vehicle had not been inspected yet because they "just got it." After returning to the lot, I opened the hood to look things over, and when I closed it, the Toyota emblem fell off. I then looked underneath the truck and found a significant oil leak. Again, I was told the issues would be fixed and that the vehicle had not yet been inspected. I told them I would consider purchasing the truck for **$16,000 only after all of the issues were properly repaired and the vehicle fully inspected**. I also showed them comparable vehicles -- same year with lower miles and even newer models (including a 2016) with fewer miles selling for about **$2,000 less**. Despite this, they refused to negotiate and continued to insist on $20,000, which is well over market value given the mileage and condition. At one point, I was asked why I hadn't purchased the other comparable vehicles I showed them. I explained that I was still in the process of looking and comparing options. I was then told that maybe I should buy those vehicles instead because they were not going to budge on the price. The overall attitude during this exchange felt dismissive rather than professional, especially given the condition of the vehicle. I also noticed the vehicle history shows a prior **minor accident**, which by itself wouldn't necessarily be a deal-breaker, but combined with the vibration, oil leak, and lack of inspection, it raised additional concerns. I have family members who work as mechanics and salespeople at major dealerships like Toyota and Ford, and I also have some experience myself, so I understand how vehicles should be inspected, road-tested, and priced before being offered for sale. Unfortunately, my experience here was consistent with concerns I've seen mentioned by other reviewers -- vehicles priced high, little flexibility on price, and cars not fully ready despite premium asking prices. Buyers should be very cautious and make sure any vehicle here is fully inspected, repaired, and properly road-tested before purchasing.

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH…read more We had a car that needed repairs that exceeded its value, so we started shopping online for a replacement. We came across a plug-in hybrid that felt perfect for our family...especially with our kids being year-round student athletes, even through the summer. I called Zac Auto Dealers and spoke with Elham, who confirmed the vehicle was still available. We headed over later that morning, and from the moment we arrived, everything just felt right. He came out to greet us. Saw the car right out front and it was in amazing condition, After a quick test drive, Elham had all the paperwork prepared quickly and efficiently. No hassle whatsoever. We decided to finance the vehicle. Zac Auto partners with Travis Credit Union in Concord. Took a short drive there, where we worked with a gentleman named Herman. He mentioned he regularly helps Zac's customers, and it showed. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Travis Credit Union was so welcoming and professional that we even opened a savings account with them. We picked up the car the next evening at Zac's. We were told it had been serviced and checked at their partner shop, Ace Auto Care in Lafayette. The car was in pristine condition. It looked, smelled, and drove like new. About three and a half weeks later, I noticed white smoke coming from a small tube underneath the car. Long story short, it turned out to be related to the battery/heating system. The car still drove perfectly, but not knowing who to call, I reached out to Zac Auto for guidance. A gentleman, Aziz, answered and without hesitation reassured me: "Don't worry...we'll take care of it." I explained what was going on, and he immediately directed me to bring the car to their partner shop, Ace Auto Care. At Ace Auto Care, I received the exact same level of service: kind, friendly, professional, honest, and incredibly respectful. Felt like I was greeted by cousins. By the very next day, my car was ready, repaired with brand-new parts...courtesy of Aziz and Zac Auto. Honestly, between Elham, Aziz, Herman, and the entire team at Ace Auto Care, it truly felt like we hit a grand slam. Thank you, Zac Auto Dealers. You are all a true example of how a business should be conducted along with how people should be treated. You didn't just take care of a transaction and a pricey repair...you took care of our family, and that means everything. Thank you.

I wanted to take the time to leave a honest good review for Zac Auto dealers, as a return customer…read more My fiancé and I recently purchased a second vehicle from Zac Auto, as my first experience was fantastic. About a Subaru outback and it has ran great. My second purchase was a toyota sequoia. Zac Auto has gone above and beyond once again with their customer service. They are honest and upfront, and they make it clear that they want the vehicle to be a good vehicle for you when you purchase it. They stand by their cars and if there's any issues, they take care of it. It's rare these days to find a family dealership with this integrity and care for their customers. I would send anyone in my family there without hesitation and have recommended them to several people. Anytime I need a new vehicle I will go straight to Zac Auto. If they don't have what you want, they'll find it for you. I can't thank them enough and we'll be back again. I'm sure.!

I'd been putting it off because finding the right shop (quality service, fair prices, honest recommendations, and not condescending) is so daunting. I enlisted my Dad who owns a dealership in LA to help me find the right Bay Area auto shop. He took the task very seriously and talked to 5+ shops. When he spoke with Martinez Auto Tech, he could instantly tell they were knowledgeable and they gave feedback on what was and wan't necessary for 60,000 mile service. Their prices beat out other local shops as well. When I dropped the car off they were able to take care of everything in one day (spark plugs, oil change, CVT drain and fill, brake flush, rear and front trans axel fluid) for under $1,000. To top it off they were so kind and happy to answer questions along the way. I never felt uncomfortable, unlikely majority of shops I've been to solo as a woman. 5 days later, our VW Golf died and wouldn't restart. I had it towed to their shop while they were closed over the weekend. I called them Monday morning to see if they could figure out what was going on. They were so accommodating and happy to squeeze me in without an appointment. They figured out it was an issue with the alternator and had the car back and running before the day was over. They didn't even charge me for charging up the car since I had just done my Subaru service. I really appreciate a small, local business that values their customers. This was such an act of kindness that I won't forget. I'll never service my cars elsewhere as long as I live in this area and will always recommend them to anyone - especially if you aren't a car expert and need honest guidance and recommendations. Thank you so much Martinez Auto Tech!

My family member recently brought their car there despite me saying not to and now there are several new issues with her car. I think he's too overworked to really take his time to do a good job. Do yourself a favor and don't go here.
