Due to someone having road rage, a guy threw a stainless steel mug at my car door on the freeway. This resulted in causing two dents on my car door. After looking at it for months I just got tired of it. I went on Yelp and requested "dent removal". I decided to use Bay Area Dent Works because of the positive comments that they have onYelp. The gentlemen came out and did an amazing job with removing the dents. One was so severe we were unsure if it would come out, but it did. Also the pricing couldn't be any better than what it is. Shout out to Andrew. I reached out to a lot of dent removal places when the wind blew my door into a pole. He was the the first one to respond back to me and the price was the best. Judging from his reviews, I had faith he get the job done. He was transparent and honest about how much he could do to remove the dent. His estimate based on my pictures was that he could make it look 80 percent better due to the fact it was a difficult location to make look perfect. He arrived on time to my house and confirmed he'd make it look like he said. He spent a good amount of time it and I am extremely pleased with the results and cost. I knew there was no way to make it look like it was before without going to a body shop, and there is no way I was going to pay that considering I wasn't looking to pay an arm and a leg to get it out on a 10 year old car. Our brand new 2021 CX5 met its first parking lot door greeting on the front passenger door. The result was two dents, one small dent near the bottom and another near the top...of course along the body line!!! Came back to the tesla and found that someone had left a couple of dents in it and no note. Did some research on pdr and thought it was worth a try. I later learn that because the model s has an aluminum body that it will be considerably more difficult because, unlike steel, aluminum has no "memory". Andrew sets my expectations that he may be able to get 75-85% improvement and set to work. A few hours later the car was looking almost as good as new. He thought that he got 85% but no one would notice the residual dent outside of me, he basically got it to 95% - and at a small fraction of the cost that it would have taken at a body shop. read more

I bought an early 90's BMW 8 series with nice original paint, but it was riddled with lots of small dings and creases. My body shop recommended PDR versus repainting, and recommended Andrew as the best. After seeing the finished result, I feel I made the right choice. Although there are some remaining imperfections, as I knew there would be, I saved a lot of money and get to preserve the original paint, which makes the car special, as most of these have been repainted. Just an honest review of my experience with this company. Had a good experience the first time around when he came to do one of my cars. I thought I found the right guy for future dent removals. Found a ding on my vehicle last week and the very first company I contacted was Bay Area Dent works. Sent him pics and got a quote to me pretty quick. Decided to go with them even though his quote was higher than I received from other reputable places but I still wanted to work with them. This is when it went downhill. I sent him a response to try and schedule a day for him to do two of my car and got no response that day. Had to send him a follow up the next day (WTF) and this time he responded and said he would get back to me with a schedule. Okay great but now 4 days later still no response. No excuses gave every opportunity to respond since I wanted to do business with them and would been okay with "sorry I can't help you with this" or "Please find someone else since I'm too busy". Can't even take couple of seconds to do that especially for a REPEAT customer. That would have gone a long way just to show some common courtesy instead making a customer that actually wanted to give you business wait days for a response. In the end, his knowledge and skill I'm not discounting but communication and treating customer with respect is a different story. A great company would appreciate and value a REPEAT customer. This is one of the things I look for that's just as important as the work being done when choosing a company. So for that reason I will never work with them again and can't really recommend this company personally. Luckily there are plenty of great alternatives for PDR removal in the Bay Area :) read more
