He then told me about two shops that could help but explained the fixing process of one of the shops which was local and what to expect. The shop that could do the complete job is in Sacramento. I will contact them. I learned stuff that I hadn't even thought about! I really appreciated the time Charlie took to explain my dilemma. You don't find many shop owners that go out of there way like Charlie, especially knowing that he could not fix it. He could have just told me, "I can't fix that, sorry" and left it at that. I saw ~6 employees walk throughout the store while I was waiting to be called up. An older Hispanic gentleman actually cut the line and went straight to the cashier without having a number. What is the point of having a number ticketing system if you're not going to enforce it?!

He lived really close to me and came to my spot, diagnosed the issue right away, and patched up my tire, saving me a grip on an expense I didn't need during the holidays. After the patch up, he thoroughly inspected my tire to ensure no other air bubbles were coming out, spraying it down and carefully checking. He put it back, told me what to look out for, and then he gave me great advice to wait til the New Year to buy new tires since most ppl would have a sale, which I did. My new tires will be coming in soon, but I really would've had a crappier Christmas if I didn't have his help. All of this happened within an HOUR by the way on a Sunday night at 8pm, right before Christmas. I mean, come on, where else can you find service like that? Fair warning - the neighborhood for a second sounded like an Auto Shop cuz of the loud power drill he had to use, but it was necessary to get it done fast. My neighbors who came out all worried to check where the noise was coming from were fine in the end (just scared cuz of all the local car thefts). Also, he doesn't carry change, so if you plan to pay in cash, just be ready - makes everything easier! Overall, amazing experience. I got to speak with Sal during drop off. He took a look at the wheel and said that while the damaged looked rough, they would be able to make it look "pretty" good. He was straight forward on what they could and couldn't do in terms of reshaping the lip and matching the paint. This was an understatement, when I came to pick up the wheels, I could not even tell where the original damage was. These guys worked magic. I did end up finding some spots that had some minor paint pooling when drying but they were quick to schedule a follow up for touchups. I got to speak with Francisco for a bit as well and he was also great to work with. If you have expensive forged wheels that need repair and want a shop that offers fantastic repair service, great communication, and very reasonable pricing this place is it.

After doing extensive research on MPP suspension upgrades, I reached out to TDW Auto and sent a summary of my desired scope of work, my budget, and a request for feedback on whether I had the correct approach in addressing my concerns. From Will's first response, we had seamless back-and-forth conversations over E-mail and text to clarify the current setup of my car, highlight my major concerns, address these concerns with the proper MPP upgrades, and align on my budget, must-haves, and nice-to-haves. There was never once an upsell; only cautionary words of unnecessary upgrades for my use case, which is really just the daily work commute in a lowered setup for personal aesthetic purposes. My original request included MPP front upper control arms and rear traction arms with my Unplugged Performance lowering springs, along with swapping out the front lowering control arms and rear camber arms. However, Will explained that the FUCAs and traction arms served no improved performance for commuting, and that the existing springs were more of a budget-friendly fit that compromised on long-term performance due to its reliance on Tesla stock dampers. Instead, he recommended swapping out the springs for MPP coilovers, and replacing the toe arms in conjunction with the camber arms to improve upon long-term lowered car hardware wear-and-tear. I followed up with Will after our virtual exchanges to get his opinions in person. He took me out for a test ride with me in the passenger seat, immediately identifying that my dampers were squeaking noticeably and that hard cornering at highway speeds felt bumpier than it should. Additionally, he patiently answered all my technical questions over the hour I was there, and adjusted the quotation when I made the final decisions on the suspension refresh. Will was completely transparent about pricing: he categorized the costs by the "front" and "rear," clearly highlighting the number of hours required to replace the front control arms, coilovers, and rear camber and toe arms. Alignment was included in the coilover work as well as solid front lower control arm pressing. He was even able to slot me in his 2-3 weeks' booked schedule on short notice because I wanted to complete the suspension refresh before making a drive to Canada. I picked up my car today after leaving my car overnight, and am extremely satisfied with my decision and results. Special shoutout to Mike, who I believe is the other co-founder and technician who stayed late just to work on my car to meet my schedule!

dude the niBBa who came to help us was lit af. he was like a super hero on a horse. a knight in shining armor even. he went and got the exact tire. that we needed himself, and then came over, and stuck that thing into our car in 15 mins. he probably couldve done it with one hand and blindfolded. he was here at the place where we had an "incident" in 30 mins. and that includes going to get the tire for us. idk why this service isnt more famous. they deserve to sit on a throne or something. and they did it for a friggin good price too. like really good price. call them for a good time. read more

I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.
