Good prices and customer service. I shopped around before deciding who to go with and I saved the most money from this company.

However, when I was a kid, my dad would take me with him to the hardware store, and I would get a lollypop while he and whomever from behind the counter would wander around looking for an eyebolt or the right shade of caulk. Giulio- who I assume is the owner, is easily 10 years older than my mom, who lives in the assisted living up the street. My mom can't be bothered to go to the chair yoga we're paying for, but Giulio went to work. He's not totally mobile, but he knows his s#!t. Whenever I come in, he or whoever else is behind the counter is happy to chat through my issue and suggest something. It's not a Home Depot- so they may not have what you're looking for every time- but they have a lot of things, and it makes me happy to know my money is staying local. Also, side story: One day during the summer, it's like 90, and I am behind a contractor who's getting a bunch of stuff - lumber, rocks...I don't know- but he's paying for it, and he grabs some water bottles for him and his crew and puts them on the counter. Giulio totals him up and says a number; the guy says, "Oh, don't forget these waters". Giulio says, "The town where I come from in Italy has the best water in the world, and it flows right off the mountain. If my father knew I was charging people for water, he'd come back from the dead and strike me down. Those are free." C'mon. How can you not go here first?

My contractor recommended them but I left pretty unimpressed and went elsewhere. The cabinet price…read morethey quoted me ended up being at least a couple thousand more than the place I ended up choosing and they were not as nice either (the East Star ones were particle board while the other ones were wood, the other ones were soft close which these were not, my actual layout ended up having almost entirely drawers on the base cabinets which wasn't included in the East Star price and so it would have been even higher than the quote they gave me, and so on). I was also looking for countertops and their options left a lot to be desired. They were maybe slightly cheaper than the other place ($40 difference for a standard countertop size of 110" by 26") but way less options and didn't look as nice. Mostly they were just not that helpful and I also didn't love their selections. I left searching for other options pretty quickly. I think one reason to maybe come here is the prices but in my experience even those were higher and the quality and selection were worse. In addition, ideally you want someone who can actually help you figure out a layout and make you feel like you want to shop there and I didn't get that sense. Maybe I just had a bad experience but even though I came in having some idea of what I wanted, I definitely did not get the vibe that this was where I would find it.

I did a complete kitchen remodel and found the exact cabinets I wanted here at Granite Expo. The…read morelast who helped me to design my kitchen was very helpful, though she did add in some unnecessary things (like extra side panels, that were later returned.) Installation was ok, but I felt like once the cabinets were in my house they didn't want to deal with me anymore. It was hard to get the refund for the extra panels and there were several teeny tiny sliver of pieces that I ordered but never received. My cabinet installer was able to create pieces to fit in these spaces (around the sink, above the refrigerator) but they were missing the factory finish, so they had rough edges. My biggest issue was that when we removed the plastic from the cabinets, the plastic coating on the larger pieces came off clean, but the plastic coating on the factory finished pieces would not budge. Even with all heart gun the plastic protective coating was very difficult to take off. It took several hours to remove the coating and even then, there was still adhesive left behind. I complained to Granite Expo and they simply didn't believe me and said of there was anything wrong with the cabinets, it was my fault. You live and you learn. Aside from the adhesive that won't come off, the quality of cabinets is good. I really wanted white high gloss cabinets and I mostly have that. I'm coming to terms with the mixture of high gloss and (sticky) matte finish on my kitchen cabinets since I have no other choice.

They have a large selection of flooring and their cabinets were so affordable. We worked with Addison. He was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I was worried he would start to get annoyed with me as I emailed and texted him with questions and revisions but he was very patient. I will definitely use them again.
