    Chipotle Club with Fries
    Janelle S.

Cute place in downtown Tracy. There's indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for indoor. I ordered the Chipotle Club with fries. The sandwich was well portioned and I really enjoyed the sandwich. The fries were the highlight though. Perfectly crisp and they really hit the spot. Service was attentive and quick. Fairly empty when we went on a random Tuesday for lunch (expected as it is a bar), but a great spot to catch up with my friend.

Second time at this whiskey bar and I love the staff, ambience, food, and whiskey selection. The bartender was extremely kind and made great recommendations for good bourbons to sip on. They have a decent food menu with small bites to share with friends. There's no parking lot but if you don't luck out with street parking then there's plenty of space within a short walk.

A really fun bar in the heart of a revived downtown Tracy. Whiskey is plentiful here. It has a feel of a dive bar with a menu to rival most restaurants. The whiskey flights are a great deal as they give you a great taste of 3 whiskeys on hand. The wall behind the bar has whiskey stacked to the ceiling, with every whiskey known to man. A couple of TV's make this a great place to catch a game of any sport. Special thanks to our bartender, Rhiannon, who was super cool and attentive the entire time.

Get the espresso martini!! Yum!!!! One of the best ones I've had in Tracy. The garlic fries are amazing and the service was good! Love sitting outside with the nice weather recently! The food came out quickly and had a HUGE drink menu! Quality whiskey and something for everyone. I'm glad every time I come here it's consistent... that's what I love about a place.... I had clam chowder on the brain. I was able to ignore it for almost two weeks, but finally caved. Purgatory's chowder is rich, creamy, and chock full of clam. Served with grilled bread, it filling and satisfying. I fined off my meal with a shot of High West A Midwinter Night's Dram. It was a pricey indulgence, but very worth it. Silky smooth with a gorgeous nose and hints of warm spice. I had been thinking about trying it ever since I saw it as part of a December flight. I avoid alcohol, but couldn't resist. I would have both again in a heartbeat Recommended.

Had to squeeze in lunch on a weekday and was in the area so headed here. The service was quick and perfect. Ambiance great as always. Food was as usual delicious and healthy too. Got the No Name Yet and Elijah Craig whisky flight . Both perfect

First time here and the food is pretty decent! I would say like a 8/10. It was a Friday night and it wasn't too busy but the service was delayed a bit. I think it took about 20 minutes from me first sitting down until someone came over and asked what I would be drinking. I was a bit shocked about how long it took to get greeted. The menu has quite an assortment, the staff is friendly once they serve you, and the place is clean! I see myself coming back here but never craving to come back. My friend ordered the penne pasta with shrimp and she thought it was good!

Dropped into Purgatory on our way back home after a visit to the Bay Area. We scanned their menu, so easier to review it by going to their web site. The Great Gal and I started by sharing a dish of deviled eggs. They were quite tasty. I followed the dish with clam chowder accompanied by toasted crostini. I likewise enjoyed the chowder. The Great Gal went for rib eye sliders which she thought were quite good. An observation, these are the largest sliders I have ever seen. There were actually three pieces in the serving. I would probably call this a rib eye sandwich cut in three pieces. I tasted it as well. Quite good!! Service was nicely provided by Diana. This was a nice midway stop on our return from the Bay Area.

Great place for drinks, food and amazing staff. New to Tracy, I have been having fun trying all the new restaurants. When I came in I was so warmly greeted by staff. Had a nice conversation about their specialties, and decided for the chicken sandwich. Now here is where it gets fun, I love a pesto chicken sandwich! But that is not how it is made here. The staff does have a pesto pasta dish, and the kitchen was more than happy to satisfy my tastebuds! I had an amazing sour Seltzer to pair that was so tasty, I did not want to go back to work after. The meal was great, the staff even better, the drink selection astounding! It is a bit pricy, so do keep that in mind!

I loved this place! My bestie & I went on a little Galantines date. We had some great drinks and appetizers. It's located in downtown Tracy and I think they are open till about 11pm. When I visited there wasn't too many people there which I appreciated. I don't like the crowded feel of some places. We sat at the bar and were taken care of well! The bartender made great selections on drinks to try, since I was a first time visitor. The appetizers were pretty good too! I'll have to come back and try a dinner plate. But tbh the appetizers are a good portion to where you can do one or the other. I'll definitely be back here!

Service was great and food was pretty good! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

Garlic fries & pretzel sticks were delicious, cheese was okay. The pork belly and smoked salmon were decent, but nothing standout.

You won't find crowds of people clamoring for the bar to get a drink or other less desirable things detracting from the atmosphere. My gf made resy's for after dinner cocktails. I was only going to have two drinks here, but watching him craft these artisan cocktails made me want more. I started with the Porn Star Martini which is appropriately named for the champagne ball which explodes bubbly in your mouth- perfect to spoon into your mouth after a sip of the martini! Next up was the Cereza Grande! I watched the bartender make it which was the point of enticement. Loved the sour cherry flavor and citrus fizz! Then, I couldn't leave without tasting the Hibiscus Sunset which caught my eye first. The experience begins in a small glass-enclosed entryway where you're greeted before the hostess is notified by radio. Moments later, the glass door opens, revealing a beautifully designed speakeasy with an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. The space offers comfortably spaced bar seating, cozy booths, and tables, all surrounded by tasteful décor that perfectly captures the speakeasy era while incorporating subtle honeycomb-inspired touches. The spirit selection is impressive, and the appetizer menu is thoughtfully curated. Their specialty cocktails are creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. We sat at the bar, where our mixologist, Kalika B, was both personable and professional. I always enjoy sitting at the bar when the bartender is willing to share their craft, and Kalika did exactly that. She explained the story behind several of their custom cocktails, the history of some of their spirits, their signature custom ice program, and offered excellent appetizer recommendations. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire space was spotless and clearly designed with great attention to detail. It filled up quickly after opening, so I was glad we arrived when we did. Despite the growing crowd, there appeared to be plenty of staff, and the service remained attentive without ever making guests feel rushed. There is only one restroom, but during our visit it was never an issue, and there was no wait. I've been chasing speakeasies for more than 20 years, long before they became as popular as they are today. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out a local speakeasy, so I've experienced quite a few over the years. Honeycomb ranks near the top of my list. It's the perfect size--not too small and not too large--with an outstanding selection of spirits, exceptional craft mocktails, knowledgeable mixologists who truly know their craft, and cocktails tailored to your palate. The atmosphere is elegant yet approachable, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the experience. The Honeycomb Speakeasy in Livermore is truly a destination-worthy cocktail experience. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.
