They were a little short staffed, but the staff was courteous and realistic with us to set our expectations. We sat in the side garage-like room, as we needed a large table to accommodate our party. A really fun bar in the heart of a revived downtown Tracy. Whiskey is plentiful here. It has a feel of a dive bar with a menu to rival most restaurants. Served with grilled bread, it filling and satisfying. I fined off my meal with a shot of High West A Midwinter Night's Dram. It was a pricey indulgence, but very worth it. The Great Gal went for rib eye sliders which she thought were quite good. An observation, these are the largest sliders I have ever seen. There were actually three pieces in the serving. Had a nice conversation about their specialties, and decided for the chicken sandwich. Now here is where it gets fun, I love a pesto chicken sandwich! But that is not how it is made here. The staff does have a pesto pasta dish, and the kitchen was more than happy to satisfy my tastebuds! I had an amazing sour Seltzer to pair that was so tasty, I did not want to go back to work after. I loved this place! My bestie & I went on a little Galantines date. We had some great drinks and appetizers. It's located in downtown Tracy and I think they are open till about 11pm. When I visited there wasn't too many people there which I appreciated. I don't like the crowded feel of some places. We sat at the bar and were taken care of well! Is one of the unique things they have of this restaurant. to summit may be offputting, but I will tell you this there is no gaming. Taste is just more of a flavorful juicier burger than a beef patty. I have even brought my girlfriend there multiple times to enjoy just that elk burger. Along with the burgers and food they have an amazing array of drinks and beers and a killer whiskey selection. Visited on a Friday night around 7pm. The place was steady, but it wasn't too crazy. We sat outside to enjoy the downtown view, so I didn't get a good look inside. However, I did see a full bar with a bunch of table top seating as well as another room with table top seating. After being seated, we were greeted by our server in a timely manner. She promptly took our drink and appetizer orders. What I thought was surprisingly good was the fried Brussel sprouts with the side dressings. I ordered the fried chicken tacos on the servers recommendation. They looked awesome and I'm happy to report they tasted awesome. It was just enough food and I didn't feel over stuffed. Stopped in for a Friday eve drink and dinner/apps. Restaurant is clean, trendy and has lots of seating options. Can accommodate large parties too. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. They also made some great recommendations. We ordered the pretzel sticks and garlic fries as an app. The fries were perfect, best garlic fries we've ever had hands down!! Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Fresh garlic and parsley and perfectly seasoned. We also had the cucumber some and James and the giant peach drinks, both excellent. For our entrees we tried the shrimp tacos and brisket sliders. I asked for a modification for the tacos and they were able to accommodate which is appreciated. They tasted great, shrimp cooked nicely, well seasoned and a nice balance of acid and spice. Plate comes with 3 tacos which were quite filling. The sliders were ok but would prefer our sliders without bbq sauce because you loose the taste of the brisket. Recommend serving with the same pickled red onion from the tacos and a side of a vinegar based bbq sauce for those that are dippers vs it being mixed with the brisket. Not a bad spot. It looked like an average dive bar when I first walked in but it was very clean, had a good selection of beer and a bigger variety of food on the menu than I expected. The price of the beer was good, the food seemed a bit high but the portions and quality were good. The bartender Alisha was friendly and attentive. Only complaint I had is that their point of sale system suggests tip amounts based on the total and not the subtotal (tipping on the tax). My subtotal was $32 so 20% would be $6.40 not the $6.76 suggested. Not that $0.36 is going to hurt me or help the staff, but if you pay with a company card and get stuck filling out paper work with the finance department for over tipping...you may regret your visit.
