My knee hindered my mobility and prevented me from doing squats, jumps, and other exercises. After relating the pain to Dr. Ko, he discovered my pain stemmed from my ankle, which did not align properly after a sprain. After aligning it, he asked me to stand and I immediately felt the difference. Since then, I've have no issues with pain and can finally do squats and jumps again! (He also alleviated the pain in my neck and back in that same session.) In addition to him being an outstanding chiropractor, Dr. Ko is also very personable and considerate. He explained everything he was going to do beforehand, which made me feel very comfortable and relaxed since I knew what to expect (a very important thing, especially since it was my first time seeing a chiropractor). The staff at the San Leandro facility have been amazing every step of the way. Yulin and Tyler have been phenomenal about finding isolating exercises to help pin point the areas I'm feeling pain. Every session provided me with new movements that would move my recovery forward. I made sure to do my exercises at home to facilitate my success. Her rates are competitive especially when you consider her flexibility to offer "come to you" service. She is very responsive and easy to work with for scheduling. She is also very conscientious, discussing what "ails" you and how her therapy skills can assist; I really appreciate her table-side manner, never pressuring, belittling or negative. In the past, I've used services from Massage Envy, high end boutique spas, and other individual massage therapists and IMHO, Mila ranks among the top for overall satisfaction!! The only downside (for us customers, but AWESOME of Mila) is that as demand for her services grows (and I am sure it will), she'll continue to be busy, so proactive coordinating with her for scheduling will be a must.
