They installed new wiring and fixtures for three ceiling lights, a wall sconce, and an outdoor motion flood. They also installed a new bathroom light/exhaust/heater appliance in the ceiling. It was all done in about four hours. The crew was polite and very professional. I have always enjoyed good service from Nordic.

We've used Nordic Electric for other tasks and they've been great. Most recently, we had them up the Gunflint Trail in practically no time to replace an old, corroded main breaker in the middle of winter -- when we absolutely needed the power working! We've had great luck with them.

They quoted me $1,100 without even setting foot on my property and required 100% payment upfront before they'd even show up. I've never heard of such a thing. I actually couldn't believe what they were telling me while talking to them. I understand 50% down the rest due at completion but 100% upfront without even looking at it or setting foot in my property tells me they do bad work or will show up when they feel like it and people have been refusing to pay. I will never recommend them and will never call them for anything.

Then he sent a journeymen electrician who did not give me an estimate, but started to work as though it was a done deal. He did not introduce himself nor did he leave a bill when he was done. I didn't know it was double what I wanted to pay until I got a bill in the mail a week later. When I called, Dan was very rude to me (was it because I was a woman?) and insisted it was all my fault because I arrived home 10 minutes late. From the other reviews which I didn't read until this happened - unfortuneately, some had similar ratings and criticisms of the service and customer care.
