I have now golfed in a cemetery

I got out and played this course early one morning. I was bummed to find out you get charged the same whether you are walking or riding, but the course was well kept the day I played. There's no driving range which isn't a huge deal to me, but the practice greens are essentially there to help figure out speed for the day, because there are no holes to putt into. I appreciated the difficulty of the course, it wasn't unbearably hard and only has one par 5(helpful if walking). The course could do well to improve signage and markings between holes. It's not always clear where the next hole is, particularly after hole 3

Hole #9, back up the hill to the clubhouse

Nice enough. Greens in decent shape. Lunch special during the week. Slow.

The course is challenging but the fairways are wide enough to stay out of the rough.

Severna Park Golf Center consists of an 18 hole miniature golf course, a driving range and a nine hole, par three golf course. The golf center also has a small pro shop and a deck for hosting private parties. The Severna Park Golf Center has been in business for decades and it shows its age a bit. The miniature golf course is fun but the holes are set amongst a barren landscape of rocks. There is also a water feature that has seen better days. You won't find a cheesy theme like you would at the beach or a lush landscape like you will in Pasadena. The driving range is also basic. A good portion of it is covered with ceiling fans but the fans seem to be broken. To enjoy the driving range, buy your balls inside the pro shop and then take your ticket down the steps to the range machine to fill your basket of balls. I have not played the three hole, par three course but it looks like a great place to learn how to play golf or to just have fun with 9 holes, 6 beers and 3 clubs. The longest hole is 125 yards so leave your drivers in the car. Also, watch out for range balls that sneak out of the range. Fore! Although dated and a bit run down, I do like how casual Severna Park Golf Center is. You don't need matching name brand clubs and there isn't a dress code so hackers are welcome! This is a good spot for families, dates and groups! Bottom Line: A very basic golf center but it's cheap and convenient to the Severna Park-Arnold Ritchie Highway corridor. The Pasadena Golf Center is a really nice place to expend some energy and have some fun on the miniature golf course, at the covered and heated driving range or in the multi-speed softball and baseball batting cages. There is ample parking, a little pro shop and room to have a birthday party. I personally was very impressed with the well designed, appropriately landscaped and challenging miniature golf course. The 18 Hole astro turf course has a lot of variety to it and I love that the landscaping is very appropriate for the Chesapeake Bay region. There are fountains, water features, water falls, grassy knolls and cat tails. The landscaping stakes you feel like you are teeing off in the marshes surrounding the Chesapeake Bay watershed. I ergs only don't miss the cheesy Happy Gilmore-ish clowns and pinwheels here! This is a really nice place for families, dates and groups!

The sand traps need a little work. Great challenging course with balanced traps and hazards. I was surprised how fast the greens were which is actually good. The Northeast course is really fun to play. Try this golf venue. There are two course - 36 holes. The Staff is always pleasant, courteous and very helpful. The greens were very well taken care of no brown spots at all the ball rolled very well. All of the bunkers were also very nice. The East course was in just as wonderful condition I think it was a little more difficult than the North course the greens were very fast and the hole placement on a few holes was well placed. I had a few land on the green and roll rite down the hill. Pass of play was very nice we did have two sets of two guys come behind us and we let them play threw. When you check in you go threw the front door and exit threw the side the bar is closed if you wanted drinks you had to get it while checking in there was no drink cart. This is a little sad there's no reason to not have drinks and food if every other restaurant can be open they should as well. Overall we will return to play

So this may be a bit of an odd review but it needs to be said. Last night i had a first date (it…read morewas a blind date). We had decided to meet at the mini golf place because it had mini gold, batting cages, and usually its pretty busy. (So nice public place for a first date). The weather last night was cool and overcast, when I arrived I told the gentleman who ran the center it was a blind date and I was a bit nervous. He joked with me about it and then My date showed up. We did the mini golf, its always clean and the hills of it make it challenging for mini golf. What made this a 5star review was the fact around hole 7, which is out if sight if the main area and up the top back end of the hill, the gentleman that worked there (I wish I had gotten his name) actually walked casually by checking all the sites and holes and pointedly looked at me with the "All good?" Face. The fact that he, not knowing me, would come check on me, it really made me feel safe and comfortable. I just want to say thank you, wnd FYI this is a great first date place. The challenges of the course give you good pause and concentration. But the ease of walking the course give you ample time to chat. Thank you again to the gentleman for just, being a gentleman.
