If you like golf and your equipment don't come here

This is the second time we have come to this establishment during their working hours and the front door has been locked. Today much like last time we arrived at 4:50 trying to hit a few balls and the doors were shut to us, not allowing us to go get some balls. We were not the only ones disappointed. Either the owners need to see this and step up or the kids working there need to actually unlock the door and do their job.

Stopped in to the driving range tonight to hit a bucket of balls. I am by no means a golfer and just use it as a fun activity once in a while. The driving range is clean and I never experienced issues with it. You have to go inside the building to purchase your bucket of balls. The employee was helpful. All social distancing guidlines and the wearing of masks is in effect.

Drove by at 5:30 and they're closed. Sign is off. New owners are extra awful. Same old chewed up mats missing tees.

The greens were very well taken care of no brown spots at all the ball rolled very well. All of the bunkers were also very nice. The East course was in just as wonderful condition I think it was a little more difficult than the North course the greens were very fast and the hole placement on a few holes was well placed. I had a few land on the green and roll rite down the hill. Pass of play was very nice we did have two sets of two guys come behind us and we let them play threw. When you check in you go threw the front door and exit threw the side the bar is closed if you wanted drinks you had to get it while checking in there was no drink cart. This is a little sad there's no reason to not have drinks and food if every other restaurant can be open they should as well. Overall we will return to play

And…read morewhile playing at the golf bay, all of a sudden there was an extreme emergency alert for a tornado warning that went off on my phone around 5:49pm. The weather changed so fast from not really windy, no rain, bright and sunny to foggy, stormy and gray. Heavy rains were coming into the golf bay area, roaring thunder and lightning strikes. The gray clouds and high winds rolled in super fast from the right side near the water. My friend and I are not from the Baltimore area... So naturally, we started to freak out as we didn't know what to do with the extreme weather change (haha now, but not at the time). We went into the covered area inside and sat down with our waters. We told our prior server that was switching shifts, Myles, that the new server who we ordered from with still had my friend's card but we didn't see her. As we wanted to tell her about our move inside. He helped us notify the new server and got my friend's card back. As we were thinking about leaving due to the abrupt weather change. The new server helped us carry our food from the outside bay area to the inside table area where we got our drinks as well. Myles came over and we asked if he could help explain the Baltimore weather with us, since we told him we weren't from here and didn't know what to do with the weather. He realized how worried we were and tried his best to reassure us. He was very professional and kind. This helped to calm us down immensely. And it made us less anxious. We decided to stay and wait it out. At about 624pm the weather had cleared up. So we communicated with our server that we did want to go back outside to play if that was possible. A manager came over to help comp us 15 minutes of play time from when we were inside for the storm. So we went back outside to play. When the check came, there were some discrepancies with the free 30 minute discount code (check for ongoing promotions online) that we used initially. So our server notified the manager and they were able to correct that for us. It was definitely a memorable first time experience at Topgolf for me. It's definitely a fun place for date night or a night out with friends... and even a okay place to watch a storm from (I'm joking about this last part!)

Buddy at the front that told us our lane and how things worked was mad cool. Excellent customer service. Our actual service girl at lane was absent. We seen her 3 times. 1st time, she said we can order with her or phone, we asked for waters with lemon. 55 minutes later I went to the bar inside to re-order. 2nd time we seen her, she had the waters apologizing that they lost the ticket. 3rd time was her bringing the card reader asking if we wanted to extend or checkout.

I shall call this review #CarJealousy…read more Riding in through the large golf course, I can see the rolling hills and sand pits plotted out carefully for eager golfers, who I'm sure hang their heads outside their window like a panting dog as the make their way to the parking lot. A parking lot filled with every car I want. Mercedes SL (insert number) Acura (Insert model) Lexus IS blah blah And there was a bunch of Infinitis... which they can keep. I don't like Infinitis. I think the shape of them is odd and... ugly. Anyways, I was there for a fundraiser so I set up my table and began to do my thing... after my thing was done, I got a little of the County Club treatment as I sat down to lunch in the club room and dined on some of the club kwizine. That's the fancy french way to spell it right? A fresh salad lightly dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Full of ridiculously fresh lettuces. It was all the salad truly needed ( and had) cause the lettuce was so freakin' good. I could definitely detect some little gem and butter lettuce in the mix. There was a choice of hamburger or chicken. The chicken was in a light broth of old bay, bbq sauce, and something else which is escaping me. The chef behind the table cut the little knobby bone ( the bone that connects the breast with the wing) off of the breast after I picked it from the chafing dish... begging the question... why did they leave that on? But I think it oddly made some sort of weird difference. Well, whatever they did, the chicken was super tender and flavorful and the buns they had were crucially delicious. It was a spectacularly simple and delicious meal. I loved it. Everyone at the country club was extremely pleasant and attentive. Servers made sure that I had enough to drink and cleared my plate away quickly. The worst part of my experience was leaving the country club, as I know that I am very unlikely to back anytime soon. Maybe when my magnetic car invention gets off the ground.

With that said, my review focuses on the grounds of the facility and not the actual course and/or staff. My biggest reason for giving the golf course three stars was the parking lot. The gravel covered lot was absolutely horrible! It was hard to drive on and they had piles of the same gravel throughout, further limiting the already limited parking. My friend basically had to park on a gravel pile with the front of her truck partially in the street. They really should do a better job with this lot. As for the grounds, they were beautiful. The lawn was very well maintained. The grounds were free of trash or any other debris. It's is a shame that the parking lot didn't get the same care. As for the soca for breakfast event, it was wonderful. I would definitely consider coming back for other events at the golf course. Hopefully, the issues with the parking lot will be resolved before then.
