Can't say enough great things about Dr Tripathi and the clinic staff. I've been seeing Dr T for non-surgical treatments since he practiced in Livermore. I even got a quote for an upper bleph while he was there. I wasn't ready to pull the trigger at that time but when he opened his own practice, it was a few years later and I knew it was time. As a physician myself, I can attest that Dr Tripathi is truly an expert in his field, and I trust him to put my interests as a patient first, while ensuring that I'm receiving the most efficacious results possible. I previously went to a facility, and I regrettably believed their recommendation that a single laser in multiple sessions would correct my issues (scarring and other age-related concerns). I came out of these sessions unsatisfied due to a lack of clear results despite the time and money that were spent. Dr Tripathi really is the best at personalizing treatments to each individual's needs! After much researching, I convinced my husband to join me. There were much closer locations with similar services but I felt most comfortable with Dr. Tripathi. With his expertise, he discussed the numerous options available at his office, and what he believed would work the best for each of our concerns (dark spots and pore size for me, old scaring for my husband, which require very different treatments), along with the amount of downtime we could tolerate. He gave us good aftercare instructions and provided us with products we could safely use. I didn't end up receiving services here and they came highly recommended by someone I respect, so I want to be clear that I have no basis to judge or doubt that their services are high-quality. But I just wanted to flag for the not uber-wealthy that if you want cosmetic, non-surgical services here (laser treatments, fillers, microneedling etc), their policy is to *decide for you* all the treatments you will need, *how many of them* you will need months into the future, and then to require you to pay for ALL of those treatments up front, before even setting foot inside the office. There's no discount associated with purchasing multiple treatments in advance; it's just a requirement to be seen at all. I've had to move a number of times for my job and I've been to many med spas all over the country and I've never seen such a policy. And while I absolutely understand the benefit of making clear to folks that a course of treatment is necessary for the desired results, requiring people to pay for a lengthy course of services months into the future (when you have never had the treatment before, have no idea how your skin will respond, whether you'll like the office, whether you'll change your mind about what you want, etc) is, in my view, an inherently unfair consumer contracting practice. If something goes wrong with your treatment and you don't want to move forward, you're then in the position of begging for a refund as opposed to simply saying, I don't want to move forward. And for such an already expensive place, the impact of this additional policy is extra exclusionary. I was willing to pay a lot of money to try a new treatment ($2-3k) and was very much open to the idea that I'd need more and almost certainly would have scheduled additional treatments after the first, if it went well. But my skin has reacted poorly to a few treatments in the past, and I didn't want to prepay for future treatments before knowing how my skin reacted to this new one. They would not agree to see me, though, unless I prepaid for their entire recommended course of treatment in advance, which was $9k to start and then $6k for a "less recommended" package. I can understand from a business perspective why they'd want to only work with patients that they know will pay $10k or more (the cost of their "elite" membership), but this is not a policy in the best interests of patients and I'm surprised it's still legal in California. Ultimately, it did make me a little skeptical about their quality. I mean, if they do good work, why don't they trust that their patients will recognize it and elect to continue treatment, as opposed to strong-arming folks when they're vulnerable, hoping to find a service that will make them feel better about themselves, and therefore prone to irrational decision-making? I wish they'd do better. read more

Everything has been incredible, from the first call to my most recent post-surgery appointment. The staff was friendly and got me in for a consultation within a week of my initial call.
