This is an update on my skin tightening at Elite MD. I have been going for post surgery T shape skin tightening on my abdomen. I've had sessions with different members of the team and no matter who I see, the experience and results are always excellent. I chose Elite MD in San Ramon for my breast augmentation because I knew about Dr. Bansel and his wife a while back when Latisse first came out. I liked how they specialized in melanated skin and took pride in their work. So many, MANY years later when I decided to finally get my breast augmentation- they were the only ones I trusted with my surgery. I didn't even bother to Google anyone else to be honest. Once I looked up their information, I made the appointment right away. About The Staff - Everyone I interacted with was patient, kind, understanding, and actually listened to what I had to say. No one tried to sway me to change my mind or what kind of surgery to get. Although they do tell you the risks of everything of course. But there is always someone to call or text 24hrs a day if you have any concerns with payment or healing. About The Doctor - Dr. Bansal reminds me of that really cool uncle that asks you how school is going, or work, and wants to make sure you're doing okay when you go to family parties. And if you're not doing what you're supposed to, He Will Definitely Know! Lol. For example, if you're supposed to be resting, eating better/healthier, keeping stress down, as well as inflammation... he will definitely have this talk with you. I've been in some doctor's offices where they won't even make eye contact with you unless you have an appointment to see them that day. Side note: after my surgery, he told me what he found and had to do a little extra work so that I wouldn't have to come back for an extra procedure. He didn't charge me for this extra work, as it wasn't discussed... but he did it, because it needed to be done and my breasts wouldn't look right. Plus, he's a perfectionist - Which I Love! About Me - My mother in from the Philippines , and my father is from Mississippi ... hence the melanated skin. I was a very small/droopy B and I breast feed one child who is a teenager now. Each breast received 505cc of the "Gummi bear" , high profile implant. (I don't exactly know my new size because I haven't been NEW bra shopping as of yet.) How do I feel about them? I feel I might like them more than I should, LOL. Every time I look at them, I giggle to myself because I can't believe I had the courage to finally do something I've wanted since the early 2000's. It's almost like Lasik... after you get it done, you say "Why in the world didn't I get this done sooner?" So, yes... I'm extremely satisfied with my results. The Healing - Omgoodness! The anesthesia lasted about a week after surgery! I thought I could clean the house, walk the dog, do all the things you're Not Supposed to. Don't- Dr. Bansal will know. Lol. Just follow doctor's orders, and you will be fine. Plus, they send prescriptions to your pharmacy and provide a list of supplements to aid with the healing process, Which Helped A Lot! Conclusion - Since the surgery, I've ran into other females with similar procedures.. I would share my experience, and some shared Horror Stories! Everything from: "I didn't get what I wanted"... to "my doctor never explained this to me"... and "I didn't know all of my options"... All this... To start off, I decided to get gynecomastia surgery about 2 months ago. I went in and talked to Tricia and Tony, who were very helpful and motivated me to lose weight before the surgery. I ended up losing over 30lbs going from 205 to 165. Marcel was very helpful with the financials as these kinds of surgeries can get pricey, but the amount was definitely fair. The surgery went off without a hitch, they used local anesthesia instead of general. The surgery center is in the building, which saves time, hassle, and money. I had absolutely 0 pain from the surgery. Thanks to medication and the entire team, including Doctor Bansel, for doing a fantastic job. I'm extremely satisfied with the results and they've continued to help me along the way. I suggest you look at other places and compare prices carefully, they are way overpriced, don't get tricked into the "we are all like family here" once they get you in and they have been paid, everything changes completely, you become just another customer. Their office staff is extremely unorganized and some of them take it very personal when you set time boundaries, (I had to travel from another city). Dr. Bansal will tell you they are the #1 plastic surgery center in the country, he will show you lots of charisma and care but in reality he's a salesman, not a caring doctor, I wished I had listened to my intuition and went with a local surgeon. I've had 2 terrible experiences here for dysport. The first time I got a really severe bruise and it all wore off within 3 months. I had 40 units left over so I went back to give them another chance, but then they got confused about what I was there for, offered some new laser and took a bunch of unnecessary pictures. Thank you, Dr. B and everyone on the awesome team at Elite MD! 62 year old male here, predisposed to storing fat under my chin. I had Dr. B work on that, vaser lipo and skin tightening, and really am happy on so many levels with the results. Before surgery I started the (strongly) recommended diet to reduce inflammation. (It makes the final result better.) But I immediately noticed my belly shrinking and my digestion improving even though I wasn't really losing weight. Clearly I was suffering inflammation, and also clearly the diet works. If you know about this, you know there are several health benefits to avoiding inflammation, and I'll probably live longer just due to this improvement. Thank you Dr. B! The surgery was done semi-awake, sedated but no general anesthesia, no hospitalization, etc. Safer, and I was able to go home within a couple of hours of the procedure finishing. I'm not going to pay for their new building and training center.. you can find excellent surgeons that actually take the time to go over your needs and explain what will be happening. To have a conversation with a surgeon is utmost, for them to give you their full attention and respect is extremely important and valuable. Arriving to an appointment and getting maybe 10 minutes with the surgeon as he had left a surgery to talk to me and had to go back to the surgery was unsettling to say the least. To have the entire appointment with a consultant was unexpected. The surgeon ask me to lift my top and bra, also to lower the front of my pants to see what I needed taken care of.. really professional- Not. This is a well know surgeon that was on Dublin, moved to Blackhawk- hence the $$$$.. do yourself a big favor and stop and think.. my moneys and personal respect is valuable.. read more

As a cancer survivor of Lymphoma followed by serious complications from the treatment that saved my life, I ended up spending about 2 years of my life on a myriad of drugs. In the end, I was alive but had aged at least 10 years ahead of my years. I spent the next 5 years lifting the skin on my face in every mirror I passed and imagining what a facelift would look like. At 65, I didn't want to look 30 as it wouldn't match the rest of my body, and I didn't want to look younger than my children either. I wanted to "look good for my age" and at least restore what I think I would have looked like minus the illness. From my initial consultation with Dr. Bansal, I knew I was in the right place. He helped me decide which procedures would accomplish my goal without going overboard. He set realistic expectations and carefully explained a comprehensive recovery program designed to maximize the both the recovery and the longevity of my results. Beginning the day of my procedure, the care was excellent from my doctors, surgical nurses and support staff. I was constantly monitored both by phone and in person to make sure I was healing well and doing my part (mostly resting and eating a heathy diet) to speed recovery. Aside from Day 1 post surgery, I had very little pain and didn't need the pain prescription provided for me. The surgeon, Dr. Hendrick, certainly knew his business. I'm extremely pleased with how I look now and no visible scars. He too, kept a periodic check on me to make sure my result was as expected.
