He did a beautiful full color, Japanese-themed art piece, that literally looks like an impressionistic-realism painting on my arm. For my permanent make-up he did my whole face. Eyebrows with pencil shade, eyeliner with lash extension, two-tone lip color, and even blush! He made me look and feel so beautiful! He was able to accentuate my facial features, and knew the best way to do my make-up! He also gave me very detailed advice on the tattoo process and how to care for my tattoo and my permanent make-up. My permanent make-up has lasted for two years with NO touch-ups! It still looks like I just got it done!! I can just wake up and go to work every morning with no need to put on any make-up! And I look so professional and ready for work or fun!

I had tried and tried to take it off but it wouldn't, so I thought "it's time for the professionals" LOL anyway i walked in and was immediately greeted nicely as they were finishing up with another client. Ruth was the piercer I saw, and was laying down on the table with my head turned to the side. i was prepared for the experience to be difficult and unpleasant since it was so stuck. I kid you not, I didn't feel anything ?? genuinely, ruth took out the stuck jewelry then put in two hoops (2 helix piercings but one stuck) and all i felt was her gloves brushing against me, as it normally would. By the time she told me was done I thought oh maybe she forgot the second piercing but sure enough she had taken the stuck stud and put in 2 hoops. TL;DR All I know is Ruth is incredibly gentle and fast ! Definitely coming back!

I was actually sent to Enigma through another amazing piercing shop-- specifically because of the…read moretype of piercing I was requesting (triangle piercing). I'm truly grateful for such a kind and professional redirection-- because the piercing is an uncommon request and very anatomy dependent. I'm really glad my piercer at Enigma, Didier, was able to take their time to not only perform it, but also communicate what he was looking for to be able to do so successfully. Didier talked me through appropriate anatomy requirements for it, gave me a mirror to show how he'd like to position the piercing ideally, discussed jewelery options/possible adjustments to the bar to accommodate healing he'd like to do (if needed), and even mentioned common issues he'd like to avoid that are run into when piercers try to manipulate the area and how such can make the piercing difficult to do/accomplish appropriately. He also thoughtfully kept checking in with me while he was making preparations (sterilizing, PPE, etc.) to make sure to answer any questions and ease any feelings of anxiety. I would absolutely recommend Didier if you're considering a piercing-- he's really knowledgeable and I felt very secure that I made the right decision coming to Enigma because of him.

I appreciate the thoughtful conversation we had about 3 concepts I was considering and her desire to connect to better understand my hope and vision for a 2nd tattoo. She was open to a fluffy vaulting panda idea inspired by a Japanese-style watercolor painting with structure in black ink and a few green accents as bamboo leaves. She also captured 4 Chinese characters beautifully as calligraphy representing "Surrender" and "Victory." Nat is kind, patient, thoughtful, intentional, and her artwork and passion for art, patterns, symbols, plants, books, and music is inspirational. My experience was 10/10, and I intend to return for additional work in the near future. I highly recommend her and the Guru studio, which has assembled and invested in talented artists who offer outstanding value and customer service with positive energy.

They were only in town for a couple of days and Brandon was very flexible with scheduling and accomadating both of them. His set-up was incredibly clean and he was very patient and kind to my sister who was scared of needles. He took the time to explain the process, make sure they were both comfortable, and paused before continuing to ensure they were okay. He was also honest about placement and recommendations for sizing so that the tattoo would heal the best and not fade excessively fast. We took a while for 2 fairly small tattoos due to conversation and changing our minds about placement, but he never rushed us and made the entire process the best it could've been. Overall, Brandon was professional, patient, and geniunely caring toward his clients. The line work was clean and well done, and the tattoos came out exactly as discussed. 10/10 would recommend especially if you're a newbie to tattoos. Thank you!
