Did a walk in during Labor Day and was greeted by Erik. The shop was clean and the vibe that Erik exuded was chill, professional and super friendly. He helped me out with some of my tattoo designs I drew up and made it super clean. We both knew it was going to be a great session when each stencil placement hit on the first try.... Unheard of! We talked throughout most of the session and he crushed the delivery of my tattoo design. Especially them being done since my other tats from 2013, he would do test spots to ensure the session wasn't just an adventure of pain tolerance. We were referred by their sister store (also very nice people) and walking in the door the environment was super comfortable and the staff was so friendly. I've been wanting to get my second lobe pierced for a while now and I wasn't really sure where to go. I was strolling around PB on Friday the 13th, looking to see which shops had piercing deals. I ran across Above All on Yelp and I called in to check for prices. I'm not sure if they were doing a deal or not but the person who picked up the phone was super sweet and he told me I could get my piercings done for $30 (including jewelry). It was a steal! My piercer (Jordan) was SO SO SO friendly and kind. He made the experience so quick and painless. He was super informative on the post-care instructions and made sure your piercing would heal quickly and effectively. I was able to purchase saline wash there for $10, which was super convenient. Also, everyone in the shop was also super welcoming -- I would have to rate the customer service a 10/10. Even though it was super hectic on Friday the 13th, everyone was in a good mood. I brought a friend to come with me and he wasn't planning on getting anything but after he saw my experience with Jordan and with the whole shop, he now wants to come back another time to get something done! I've been wanted a rook piercing for over a year and finally found Above All online. My group walked in on a Sunday without an appointment. The wait was about 30-45 minutes, which really wasn't that bad considering its location in PB -- you can just go down the street, get some ice cream and come back! I got my helix and rook pierced at the same time by Steve. He was really thoughtful and professional and helped me decide where I wanted to place my helix. My favorite part about the whole thing was having the fake rubber hand to hold while getting pierced (lol) I found a Groupon for Above All that gives you $100 worth of piercing services for $45! So basically I paid $45 for both my helix and my rook, including jewelry. I'm really happy about the price (being a college student I couldn't justify $100 for two holes in my ear) and definitely will come back to Above All for my piercing needs~ read more

Went in with a friend to get nose piercings. Both of ours were pierced at a horrible angle and we weren't given jewelry choices- just given SS screws that were too big even with swelling. Went to an APP certified place to get my choice of/properly fitted jewelry about a month later and learned the gnarly bumps I had were from both the jewelry being improper and irritation from the angle. After a month of my new titanium flatback, the bumps from a bad angle going through too much flesh never healed, so I had to take it out. Story reads the same for my friend. Bummer. Wasted $163. Should have done my research and not been impulsive. read more
