Highly recommend going to Brandon! Came in with my mom and sister who had never gotten tattoos. They were only in town for a couple of days and Brandon was very flexible with scheduling and accomadating both of them. His set-up was incredibly clean and he was very patient and kind to my sister who was scared of needles. He took the time to explain the process, make sure they were both comfortable, and paused before continuing to ensure they were okay. He was also honest about placement and recommendations for sizing so that the tattoo would heal the best and not fade excessively fast. We took a while for 2 fairly small tattoos due to conversation and changing our minds about placement, but he never rushed us and made the entire process the best it could've been. Overall, Brandon was professional, patient, and geniunely caring toward his clients. He was really nice and very professional. I've been wanting to get a tattoo to cover up some self harm scars for a while but the whole process was so daunting that I kept pushing it back. I was so scared that the tattoo would make my scars more pronounced, but Julian did an amazing job. The whole experience was amazing. He explained everything from start to finish and made sure to give me enough breaks in between. Since I've gotten my tattoo my scars have significantly reduced. Initially they seemed bigger, but that's to be expected considering I just got stabbed my multiple needles repeatedly for about 4 hours. After a few days once the swelling went down I could feel a major difference. Some lines are still visible however with the scar therapy, Julian was able to get rid of the lumpiness of my scars. Also the flowers he created are so beautiful and well done that it distracts everyone's attention from any lines that were left over. I have my next consultation with him tomorrow and can't wait for my next piece. I would 10/10 recommend Julian especially if you are looking for scar therapy. read more

Last night on a whim my sister and I decided we wanted to get tattoos and we were searching for the best place to go, when we stumbled upon Funhouse. We tried calling and didn't get a response and we were hoping we could get in the next day. So I sent an email and when I woke up today we had an email back from Leo letting us know he could get both of us in at noon just an hour after the shop opens! WHAT?! For such a high rated place I figured we were SOL but Leo from the jump was super nice and asked us what we were looking for and drew something up for us. My sister and I can be a lot when we are together very sarcastic and loud..... it's a blessing and a curse. The atmosphere was super relaxed and everyone was so nice, tattooers and tattooees lol it was a super experience he had several sizes we could choose from plus he threw together a design for us and helped pick the best placement for both. My sister is super talkative and he showed no signs of being annoyed which is always so nice. I on the other hand don't like to talk much and he didn't force small talk which I LOVE he made sure we were comfortable and dealt with my fidgeting sister with ease. Their staff is super rude, and when I was done with my tattoo and wanted to use my DEPOSIT my artist told me and I quote " YOU ARE NOT DONE UNTILL I SAY ITS FINISHED, so you won't be able to use your DEPOSIT.
