I selected Program 2 with an additional 1-hour lesson ($575 for 5 hours of instruction.) The instructor was kind and patient, however, always showed up late behind at least 20-45 minutes to every appointment and contact me at the last minute, so I never know until then. Moreover, my 4th lesson was cancelled at the last minute, even though she decided the appointment day and time. She ended up wasting my Sunday since she scheduled it in the middle of the day on Sunday. To make matters worse, the instructor provided feedback about my final lesson only after my behind-the-wheel driving test was already over‼ I informed her about my test day, but I didn't receive her feedback until after the test was over‼ This made it impossible to review effectively and rendered the feedback meaningless. As a result, I failed the test. Therefore I had to take extra lessons with another school. ※Update based on the comments below: I personally do not think this is fair‼ Was I treated differently than other students⁉ I didn't feel completely prepared because all lessons except the final one(DMV mock test) always finished earlier within 1 hour. Especially when a student specifically requests to work on their weaknesses. I took an additional lesson and asked to practice areas where I struggled, such as parking, lane changes, and merging into heavy traffic. However, you barely focused on any of these, despite my direct requests‼ Instead, you spent most of the time having me drive in a straight line, leaving me still uneasy about lane changes. I'm pretty disappointed that I did not receive the instructions as she mentioned below, or even the promised one-hour duration except for the final lesson‼

Since permits expire a year later, before I knew it, November 2018 came around. I was looking EVERYWHERE for a driving instructor because I was a minor at the time, and I had an extremely small amount of time to fit in all my driving lessons before my permit expired. After getting in contact with Natomas Driving School, I was partnered up with John Diggs. Of course, driving for the first time is an intimidating thing, but John made me comfortable and forget that fear. Before I knew it, I was on the freeway driving with no anxiety. John is an intelligent man, and knows what he's doing. He's been an instructor for years and is extremely skilled at what he does. He even gave me the nickname, "Smiley" because I always smiled and laughed whenever we were together. 10/10. I was able to fit all my lessons in two weeks, then took the drivers test, and passed! Despite numerous follow-up emails, the owner has gone completely silent and refuses to issue a refund for the services not provided. Multiple people I know had recommended Referral Driving School and praised their high success rate, so I reached out in early March 2026 for training. On March 12, owner Brian emailed me the pricing: a single session for $109 or a discounted 5-class package for a one-time payment of $495. The email clearly stated that choosing the package option would confirm the appointments. I went with the 5-class package and paid the full $495. Brian scheduled our first lesson for March 18 at 5:30pm. He showed up 30 minutes late but delivered a solid training session and said my son was already progressing well. The next day I emailed to schedule the second lesson. On March 20, Brian replied that he also works in Las Vegas and would get back to me soon to reschedule. On March 23 he said he was still out of town but would schedule the next session shortly. That was the last I ever heard from him. I followed up repeatedly on April 1, April 17, April 29, and again today (May 5) requesting a refund for the four unused sessions. No replies, no calls returned, no refund. Nothing. This is unacceptable. I paid for a service in good faith based on their own pricing and confirmation, and they have essentially taken the money and disappeared. If you're considering this driving school, do yourself a favor and only pay for one lesson at a time. Do not prepay for a package. I'm posting this review in hopes that Referral Driving School will finally do the right thing and refund the $396 I'm owed for services not rendered. Prospective customers deserve better.
