I was seen in the physical medical rehab…read morerehabilitation department (PMR) and from the start, the receptionist was unkind and the physician was 30 minutes late to get me for my appointment. Whenever I got to the appointment, I explained that I just had major hip surgery and that all of the pain management I have done so far is not working. The attending (who I think needs to retire from his job completely, which is just a whole other story), said that I will just see another specialist and that they cannot do anything else for me and that I should just ice my hip. At the end of my appointment, I recap to the provider that they are doing nothing for me, and they are essentially sending me to a different provider who does the exact same thing as this provider and they said yes. Patient care is about advocating for the patient not just passing the buck along and I feel like that's exactly what is going on here and nobody wants to assume responsibility. It's really a shame and I was hoping to establish my care at the Brooklyn VA as I just moved here but unfortunately, one thing after another. I realize that this is not a patient centered center. Truely sad .

I waited in the ER until around 2am when they decided to take me over. When I arrived it was the worst ER that I have ever been in . I was wheeled right up against another patient who was vomiting into a bucket , on the other side was a man who was having psychiatric problems . I saw a PA and had blood taken ..No curtains in between just all the stretches pushed together . They finally wheeled me over to a room on the side that looked like a storage room where I stayed for a few more hours, no one else came in and there was no way to get a nurse , sides on the bed up so no way to get to the bathroom . I finally at around 6 am saw a heavy set woman who worked there . She walked in the room apparently to get supplies she may have been a nursing assistant I'm not sure . I asked if she could call the nurse for me she just turned and looked at me as she walked back out and with a big smile on her face just shook her head NO!!! Unbelievable !! I was there until around 9 pm when I was finally admitted . Don't go there it is the worst hospital emerg. Room that I have ever been to and if I ever find out who that woman was there will be lots of phone calls and complaints . What a horrible experience

I then called my doctor who said he'd try to fix the issue. I've been without my meds for 6 weeks and have gone backwards with my health. But according to his clerical staff I don't need the meds. Ezra Medical just wants to process patients, get paid, and get you out the door as efficiently as humanly possible, even at risk to your health. eg, I was pushed to do X-rays before I'd completed my medical history because "they were running behind and needed to save time." But don't you want my medical history to know if it's safe to give me X-rays? If you have absolutely zero special needs for your dentistry and just want a clean facility for cookie-cutter cleanings and exams, Ezra will be fine. Their imaging equipment was so high tech that it made our obgyn's equipment seem prehistoric! Asides from one seemingly pointless appointment, where a provider just told my wife to be mindful of what she eats and simply scheduled a follow up with a nutritionist, every other appointment was informative and clinically significant! Emily and Sonia, along with other staff there were very attuned and provided us with such a nurturing vibe, which shows that they really do care about optimal patient care! My wife and I enjoyed our visits so much that when baby arrived early and had to cancel our upcoming appointment, that we were so sad we never got to say goodbye to them, especially Sonia and Emily who has been there every step of the way of our very first pregnancy. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to sincerely thank everyone at New Beginnings for making our first journey to parenthood such a supported and nurtured experience! If you show up you need to stay on top of the people at the desk they can and will forget about you. Happened to us they missed place the record and we sat there for almost an hour. When my wife asked what's the issue the lady was like oh we didn't check you in. Horrible service, rude and the ones doing the sonogram usually seem to have an attitude. We even had one give us a scare and said there was something wrong with the baby and we needed another echogram come to find out there wasn't nothing wrong. Chick was just having a bad day and didn't want to do her job. If you find a better place go there instead
