Adam showed up on time, was very professional, knowledgeable and was very meticulous. He tested the log and gas supply several times, answered our questions, cleaned up and left. I paid what I owed for gas for a generator, in full, in October. Hocon charged me for a rental fee for a tankI never rented. I owned the tank for many years. I did get them to credit back the erroneous rental charge, but it was after the billing system charged a finance charge (for money I didn't owe them). Each month I receive a bill charging me an additional finance charge on the original finance charge that was never owed to them, and each month I try to call them. The hold time for billing is in excess of 30 minutes, and eventually I hang up and write them letter after letter asking them to correct the error. Today I called at 4:45 and got the answering service. The billing department, which states is open until 5:00 was gone for the day. Since I have received zero response to my letters, I am hoping this will review generate a response. If this was my only billing problem, I would let it go. Unfortunately, in 2019-2020 I had 3 separate accounts with Hocon, and had billing problems with all 3. This was my last transaction with the company, and I just want to close this last account. My advise - use ANYBODY ELSE but NEVER HOCON!
