RV site next to Laundry, AC ran all night, golf carts parked next to our vehicle and talked on phone for hours. Tried to change site but management said nothing available. two sites down empty our entire stay. Spoke to Manager on last day, she listened to my complaint and just said sorry. She didn't care, just had to make it a showing. You could tell the way she listened and her response. Stayed twice this summer but no more. Will go else where. read more

I stayed here for the first & last time last week. The sites are on top of each other, the bathroom seems clean on the surface but there's a pungent pee smell, the food truck was never consistently open, the main road was so close to my site that I could hear the cars at night & they tried to charge me extra fees upon check out that were never communicated when I checked in. I have only visited friends here.. never actually stayed. A good friend of mine has camper here. I visit at least a couple times every summer. This campground is huge! It is always clean and offers a lot. They have 3 good size pools, tennis and basketball courts, a laundry area, a jewelry store, an arcade, and ice cream shop and a bathroom with quarter showers. The bathroom/shower area is always impeccably clean!! They also allow pets and have designated areas to walk them. On the weekends they do fun events like a DJ in the pavilion or lobster bakes. They do offer sewerage, water and electricity hookups. They have sites where you can either tent or bring a camper/RV. They are open from May - October. The rates to visit someone in the site during off season is $8 per person and $10 per person during peak season. If you leave before 9PM you get 1/2 of your $ back. Some of the sites you can see the ocean in the distance. read more

We stayed here for 8 nights and had an amazing time. It is a very clean campground with very friendly staff. They always had an activity for the kids to do and if you didn't want to participate there are 3 pools, playgrounds, game room and sports courts. The only down side is that the store doesn't carry everything you may need or have forgotten and the shower are very tiny, but so are most campground showers. We would definitely go back. read more

Centrally located park with a camping feel. The sites are all dirt and sand in a heavily wooded area. The park has a nice pool, playground, shuffle board and also the standard amenities. They have security at the entrance, cable at each site and their wifi worked well for us. The problem with the park is the traffic in the area caused by the Bourne bridge and the entrance to the park is extremely hazardous. I really can't say enough about this campground. 3 very clean and extremely well maintained pools made for a great camping week. A very nice playground, music on the weekend and kid crafts rounded out our stay. The people were exceptional and very helpful. My minimal negatives: our site was big and beautiful but we were close to the road and the car dealership which you could hear all day and evening (not the campgrounds fault but I will pick differently the next time) They don't have a pond for fishing so my boys gave it 4 stars. I have family who are seasonal campers here. They love the campground and their "Summer Family", but every season is their supposed "last season" due to the perennially rising costs. This summer, I got to experience this for myself. I wanted to go visit my family, but was told that I would have to make my own reservation. No problem, I arranged for a four-night stay tent camping at the campground. It came out to over $250, which was considerably more than I expected, but Cape Cod in the summertime...When I made the reservation, the person was very friendly and helpful, and explained that due to Covid, we would not be able to have guests or arrange for any gatherings. No problem. My two brothers and one of their girlfriend wanted to visit for the day, so I arranged to add them to my reservation, as we would all be staying together when I was not at the campground. The normal cost would be $14 per person/day and $8 per car/day to add them to my reservation. No problem. BUT, because "Guests" weren't allowed during Covid, they had to be added to my reservation for the entirety of my stay (4 days), which came out to $140 in addition to the $250+ I had already paid. We were fine to share the cost, and we all had a nice time together. The park itself is beautiful, the facilities were great and the people were very friendly and helpful. The sports fields/courts and playgrounds were pretty dated, but the pools were fantastic. Given the size of the park, it would have been nice to have more than one little snack shack and one very average (and expensive) pizza food truck, but there are plenty of better options in the area. I had no issues with the park or the staff itself, even the initial cost I could get over. The reason for the lower rating is solely due to the unnecessary upcharges for the people who were joining me. I understand the need to limit or prohibit guests of campers as a result of Covid, I just feel as though the campground used it as an excuse to overcharge myself and my group. This would not preclude us from going back, but I think we would have to be very clear about the costs before agreeing to return. read more

So let's start off with STAFF AWESOME very friendly nice talkative willing to help with anything and that makes a big big difference when your camping great job to all the staff at bayview. Then to the grounds of the campgrounds clean clean clean clean was very impressed with how clean this campground was . So here's a REAL review of the campgrounds PODS I rented both of them they are NOT for a family of 4 unless your paper stick people I had myself and my 6 year old in one pod with 2 twin air mattresses after both mattresses down there was one foot to the door and one foot on one side that's it my friend managed to cram a full size air mattress in the other with a long pool float inflatable mattress next to it because a twin was not fitting and there was 3 girls in that pod and the mattresses touched all 3 walls and the doors do NOT be fooled these are for 2 people that's it . BUT they are awesome super clean air conditioned curtain and door panels with them inside . I would of liked them in a different location they are right out front by main gate and highway and dumpsters you smell the garbage you hear loud traffic all night and then the traffic of people in and out of campground it sucks for location of the sites they one what is the worst is the dumpsters get picked up 7 am on Tuesday and wend well if you weren't up from highway your up then I was scared shit when it first happened at 7 on Tuesday didn't expect that . They should move them down 3 spots if you want more space outside get B but if you want 10 per less noise get a . The other thing was the lot A sits on smells like death all though maintenance awesome and tryed to help this pod needs to be moved I don't know what the death smell was it wasn't on the inside just the lot it sat on it was nasty they sprayed the lot down with chlorine to try to help the smell for me but that just made another nasty smell and head ache that that brought on was awful . It might of been all the moss and water that site is full shade for 109.00 a night MOVE that pod ! Let me finishing by saying I WILL BE BACK in the next 2 weeks . Nice place to stay but be aware that this campground is geared towards RV campers, not tent campers like us. We had no need for the 30 amp AC power, sewer and cable hookups at our camp site. The entire facility is very clean and tidy. Bathroom and showers appear to have been recently remodeled and are very clean. We had a very nice breakfast at the food truck (on-site) on the morning of our departure. Lots of rules, as one might expect with such a large facility. One other important note - the facility is right next to Mass. Route 28 so if you're on the east side of facility (like we were) you are going to hear the highway all day and all night long. Would we go back, no - but only because we don't own an RV. We're tent campers. read more

I stay here for the summer and fall fling every year. Its a great home base to go all over the cape. When you do stay at the campground the staff are wonderful.The security is also very good. They have a lot to do, swim , arcades ,shop ect. Most important,,,,,,,,this place is the cleanest campground I have ever stayed at.I work with disabled individuals and the staff are very nice to them. They treat them as if they were old friends. After a decade I've decided to leave BV. What was once a family oriented campground is nothing but a disappointment. I will not get into the past couple years of issues however only will speak of this season. We paid for a season of "family camping" at your "family campground" only to be quarantined to our site because of the pandemic. Understandable! You opened your pools, ice cream shop, and food truck when it's not safe to be within 6' of people. Opening pools so kids can play when the reality of kids staying 6' apart is impossible because they don't understanding. Hope you realize you put people's lives at risk and only added to the spread of covid because of your lack of safety. Employees who don't wear masks, I have pictures of your food vendor not wearing masks while serving food. Why would you not offer something to individuals or individuals who are frontline workers? I'm not just speaking for myself but others as well. The frontline workers who can't get time away. Instead we are taking care of family members just like yours and mine due to this pandemic. We paid an absorbent amount for this season of "family camping" and there is no such thing happening there. Understanding all the rules that were put into place they were hardly ever followed. I've been separated from my family so they are not at risk. The reality of my kids and I having a weekend getaway is slim to none. Great job on taking care of the very people who keep roofs over your head and food on your table. Very happy to be moving on to another campground that actually cares for there seasonal campers and does not let money get in the way of what's important. The health, safety, and caring ownership who values people, not money! To those reading this I have the follow up emails BV sent me with the lack of acknowledging issues nor has solutions. To put it simply the emails I received were "fluff" and how much they have done to keep people safe. Nothing but money hungry people who only care for themselves. Not all stories are alike and I'm sure many people out there have had great times there. Staff was ok not the very nice to my son. Very wired rule but does not bother me at all. So I accidentally left a sign in the front of my camper and I passed buy almost all the workers and know body thought to say or signal that there was something on the front of my camper. We had a great time at Bayview, love it here. This campground is located about a mile or two from the canal and Bourne Bridge so you will not be able to camp on the canal unless you go to Bourne Scenic Park. But anyway, clean place with great firewood at an OK price. Lots to do here or in the area, pools, beaches, ferry to the islands is all good. Cannot see the bay from many sites but you can from some, I am sure that many years ago you could see it from more. Will return to this wonderful place. read more

The place was nice. Clean bathrooms, nice pools, a lot of things for kids to do. Our site was a dirt pit and we had a tree right in the middle of it that was infested with bees. The woman at the gate was extremely rude to my husband. He assumed that when we were to check out he had to go in the office and let them know, apparently u are supposed to give the ticket to the woman at the gate. She made it known to him that he is to give it to her. Very snappy and rude! Staff was very nice. They watched u every move though. Felt like criminals. No razor scooters allowed for the kids only bikes. Weird. read more

We've been guests of friends at this campground for their spring discount program "Spring Fling" for the past three or four years and have had no complaints. Our family has spent a couple of weekends there on one of their tent sites as part of a group and our only complaint then was a foul sulfur smell from the landfill across the street. However, today, a friend of ours, with whom we were to be guests, had to cancel their reservation due to a death in the family. The campground would not issue a refund. These are customers with whom Bayview has had repeat business for three or four years! Hurt for my friend, I called the campground and asked to incur the charges on their behalf. I was told, with an attitude, that they would not issue a credit to my friends credit card and charge mine instead, that regrettably, that their cancellation policy did not provide refunds. I was told I could give my friend the cash. I'm thoroughly disappointed and, needless to say, will not be returning to Bayview again. read more

First time visitor here and it exceeded my most stringent expectations! This RV/Camping area was well thought out - picturesque, rolling hills, and well groomed and private campsites. Staff Personnel were friendly, helpful, and always stopped to engage in conversation. Grounds and facilities were super clean. Three pools, dog parks, walking trails and sports fields were all well marked and groomed. Ice cream parlor was a blast with a good snack bar to boot. It was extremely quite, although it was booked almost to capacity. We hated to leave. This facility showed pride in ownership and providing a thoroughly pleasant experience to all. We arrived on a Friday and drove to our site, it was difficult to find because it was on a small corner lot however we were told it would accommodate our 35" camper. There was a tree at the end of our site right in the middle - not an easy site to fit into. We asked if there was another one and they were helpful in finding us another site for 1 night but then we would have to move on Saturday. We agreed and the final site was very nice near the canal and the bridge. On Sunday, we asked if we could take the late check out time (1p.m. free 5p.m. $20) I called the front and was told someone was due to come into our site, therefore we could not take the late checkout. I asked if we could stay late based on the other site we were at on Friday night. He offered me his parking lot for $20. The manager John kept saying it was a courtesy based on the current site we were on. What difference does it make which site I'm on to stay until 5p.m. BTW, the manager was a pompous jerk! He said to me "why do you think you have a right to any special deal"? This guy is in customer service? His job is to make his customers happy but all he did was yell at me on the phone. I wouldn't go there again based on my experience with John the manager. He could have had a happy customer walk away and possibly spread a good word about the campground. Instead he let an unhappy customer walk away who will not recommend this campground to anyone. read more

Nice clean place with perfect amenities for kids. Only thing is be prepared for kiddie boot camp !! Staff not very kid friendly. I'm all into rules and safety but this was beyond rules and safety it was harassing, in fact the staff think it's totally appropriate to tell you have to discipline a 2 yr old.. It is actually to bad because it is a nice place, if your 50+ crowd with no little kids.. I will not return simply because of the staffs behavior basically treating ur children like criminals ... Oh and don't send your 15 yr old to pool because unless you are 16 with a parent your not allowed in .. I give this place read more
