They have to give this Fruitcake a special name so you know you are not getting the imitation cakes everyone purchases for a "gift" when they don't know what to give at the last minute. Well these boards make mine look like preschool drawings. I ordered the Date Night board, which says it feeds two or snacks four. It was just two of us so picked up a couple bottles of wine to accompany it, and attempted to take credit for doing the whole thing myself. After obviously being called out, I couldn't wait to dig in! The board contained four different kinds of (all awesome) cheeses, four different kinds of wildly different meats, cheese-stuffed olives, dried and fresh fruit, chocolates, nuts, honeys, and jams. It was such a great mix of unique ingredients that I haven't tried - while still hitting those familiar notes that I like. After initially worrying we'd devour it and not have enough, I was pleased when we couldn't even quite finish the board! The only thing that I wish were included that wasn't would be a little ramekin of mustard. Prices were fair, pickup was smooth, and quality was through-the roof. With other boards like dessert, charcuterie cones, and endless possibilities, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. I went to the deli and clearly the word is out on their chicken salad. They have a sign that explains they are limiting customers to two pounds of chicken salad due to high demand. We got a pound of that, a pound of their mustard potato salad, and a pound of their deilved egg potato salad. The chicken salad was really good. One thing I loved about it was the texture. It was finely shredded which I prefer. It was well seasoned and wasn't overly mayo-y. Of the two potato salads, I thought prefer the deviled egg potato salad. It was good but a bit plain for me. You can go from the more mild younger cheese to the older sharper cheese as an example (trust me there's a lot of cheese here). I would definitely hit this place up more if I lived in the area. I ended up taking a little bit of cheese for my trip home from here as well as some gourmet popcorn seeds.
