Seafood pasta. Lobster, prawns, scallops, Dungeness crab in a cream sauce, over linguini pasta.

Service was great, and the food was perfect! The price paid, the amount of seafood perfectly prepared, and the nice view made this meal a great deal and enjoyable experience!

Another fantastic meal at the Bay View Restaurant and Lounge. I have frequented the restaurant for years and have never had a bad experience. More recently, the partner and myself stayed at The Inn at the Tides for a weekend and had made reservations for Saturday night at 8. The restaurant is located inside the building of Inn check-in. Staff is very friendly, and pianist amazing. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and seated by the Manager, and served by Mary. I ordered the 2 specials--a salad with tomatoes, mozzarella with a vinaigrette, and a spinach fettuccine with prosciutto, peas, and mushrooms in a cream sauce. My handsome counterpart ordered the Grilled Filet Hitchcock--a filet mignon stuffed with Dungeness crab, and Béarnaise sauce, served with mashed potatoes and baby spinach. We don't drink alcohol, but we did have Sierra Mist and Diet RC Cola. The chef sent out these two little appetizers that were interesting, but beautiful in presentation-- crostini with goat cheese, blueberries, a balsamic reduction and a walnut. I'm not a fan of goat cheese, but it was a nice gesture. We both really enjoyed our meals and the service we received during our visit.

This time, we also ordered the crab sandwich. It was tasty, but a bit small for the $20 price tag. I understand that crab is expensive, but it's definitely not large enough to share. Even so, the quality and flavor were excellent. Overall, we enjoyed everything we tried, and Spud Point remains one of our must-visit spots in Bodega Bay. We'll definitely keep coming back whenever we're in town.

You place your order, pay, and receive your food at the window all at the same time. There are tables you can sit at outside, but they can get packed easily due to how busy this place is. Me and my partner shared the white clam chowder and the crab sandwich. While the clam chowder wasn't the best I've ever had, I still thought it was yummy and that it had a good amount of clams. The crab sandwich was a bit on the smaller side, and I wish it came with some sort of sauce or melted butter. Despite being plain, the crab itself tasted good and fresh. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, keep in mind that this place doesn't really have any non-seafood options like some of the other restaurants in the area (except for their chili and bread loaf). One of the people I went with was vegetarian, and they got food from the restaurant next door instead. Overall, this is a nice spot to get a quick meal while enjoying the view of all the boats nearby.

There are so many delicious flavor options to choose from, and each one was packed with flavor. We also ordered the halibut fish and chips, which were outstanding. The coating was perfectly crispy, and the fish was flaky, fresh, and cooked to perfection. My friends chose the halibut fish tacos, which looked amazing and are a great lighter, healthier option. Since we were celebrating, I decided to splurge and order a bottle of bubbly. They offer a smaller bottle for around $50, but I got the standard bottle for $90, but it was the perfect addition to our meal and made the occasion feel extra special. The food, atmosphere, and beautiful Bodega Bay setting make this a place I would gladly return to again and again. If you're visiting the Bodega Bay area, this is definitely a must-stop destination!

The employee helping us was super nice and had such a good vibe. We ordered the lobster roll sandwich, clam chowder, and the garlic butter oysters. Everything tasted super fresh and was so good. The clam chowder was especially different in the best way it had this smoky flavor I've never had before, and it was absolutely delicious.

We had a tasty lunch with raw oysters and a jalapeño mignonette sauce, smoked trout dip, and a bowl of the chowder. The smoked trout dip was pretty good with the chip and pickled onion (my least favorite dish). The raw oysters with the mignonette sauce were fantastic...we went for two rounds! My favorite chowder in Bodega Bay was Spud's, but I think this one knocked it out. I enjoyed the smoky flavor to it! Our kids aren't seafood fans so I really appreciated their kids menu that had butter & cheese pasta. Their Bloody Mary was solid as well! The following day, we had the Wedge Salad and calamari along with a bowl of chowder. The salad was crisp and the combination of ingredients was perfect with all the textures and flavors of the bacon, cherry tomatoes, shoe string onion rings, and blue cheese dressing...the best wedge salad I've ever had! I loved the lightness of the calamari batter as well! This is a nicely decorated and clean restaurant. It was romantic with the view of the bay. I felt the customer service was a little off, but eventually our servers were nicer as both lunches went on. There was a Hispanic man that was very friendly and kept our water filled. We enjoyed talking to him. The customers sure were friendly with lots of smiles towards our kids. This is my favorite Bodega Bay restaurant. I look forward to bringing family and friends.

The restaurant's large windows provide beautiful waterfront views no matter where you're seated. Our waitress (whose name I unfortunately forgot) was fantastic. She mentioned she'd been there for 14 years, which says a lot in itself. She was friendly, knowledgeable about every dish, and gave us excellent recommendations. I know Caesar dressing contains anchovies, but I was hesitant about having actual fish on my salad. I'm so glad she encouraged me to try the cooked anchovies on the side--they were delicious. Perfectly salty and a great complement to the salad. The pork chop entrée was perfection! The pork was cooked beautifully, and the bread pudding side was just as memorable. I'm not entirely sure what was in it, but it reminded me of garlic bread in the best way. The applesauce was also a nice touch. The halibut was cooked perfectly as well, and the mashed potatoes practically melted in your mouth. For sides, the grilled asparagus was exactly what you'd hope for, and the crispy potatoes lived up to their name, perfectly seasoned with a great crunch. The soup of the day was a creamy spring onion soup with crispy pancetta. Although just as delicious as everything else ordered, its the one plate we wished the portion was bigger for the price it was going for. We've eaten at plenty of restaurants, but this may be the first time where every single thing we ordered--from the entrées to the sides and sauces--was a 10/10. Needless to say, this won't be our last visit. It was absolutely worth it and such a memorable part of our anniversary trip to Bodega Bay.

The time between ordering and receiving food was lengthy. It is possible that they were understaffed for a Mothers Day brunch. However, our waitress did check in before food arrived, to let us know the status of our order. Almost everything that we ordered was under $20. This was as opposed to a place like The Flamingo, which was charging $70 *per person* for its Mothers Day brunch. Drakes has a great view, but the most comfortable booth seating is on the wall, farthest from the windows. The tables at the windows are only for 2 (our party was 3).
