Bay View Shades is a shining example of how all small businesses should operate. I was trying to find a source to fix a very small problem with a blind, and two or three of the companies I contacted through their websites never responded to me. However, when I contacted Bay View I received a phone call the next morning. Although they are located in Novato and I live in San Francisco, I was very happy to drive up there on a lovely fall day. I reached out to this company over 2 weeks ago. I spoke to a receptionist who said someone would call me the next day to schedule a consultation. I never received a call back so I filled out their online form. I got an auto reply saying someone would contact me within 24 hours. Never happened. I waited a week then responded via email. He was patient as we looked through the wide variety of samples and immediately put an order for motorized sheer silhouettes for our living room. I have used Bay View Shades twice now. I wouldn't use any other company to do my window treatments. The first time they came out to fix some aging plantation shutters and were completely professional and efficient. They got everything working at a reasonable price. Now we have moved into a new home that needed all new window treatments. I remembered Uri and the good job he did, so I gave them a call. He came out and measured, quoted me a fair price and we gave him the job. They did an awesome, awesome job! We love our blinds. If I could give Bay View 10 stars I would. When we needed a window repaired he came out and took down the blinds and put them back up once it was fixed. It's rare businesses take that "extra pride" in caring for their customer's.
