I was able to get Michael Glasgow from Glasgow Diesel out to my Gustine Texas location, as all of a sudden unexpectedly my husband's Volvo would not start, although we had new batteries in it. Michael immediately went to work and within an hour found out that suspected starter was not the problem, it was all starter connections and batteries dirty studs and connection points. I am always apprehensive with mechanics after a lot of bad experiences, I am especially nervous when it comes to my daughter's car. She had a wreck in her Corolla, Justin was recommended by a co-worker, and we had already dealt with another shop that was horrible, so we took the car to him. Justin took his time and explained everything to Desiree, he broke down the damaged area and took pictures so the estimate would be more accurate, vs just writing could have more damage and guessing on cost. He kept her in the email loop with the insurance company and explained any safety issues that could occur with specific non-OEM parts that should be OEM. The estimate the insurance provided had the model type incorrect and 3k difference in value, he worked with us to get the insurance to correct this and use OEM parts were needed, this caused the car to be a total loss. Had he not noticed the discrepancy, my daughter could have been out a lot of money, she is a college student and works two jobs, she depends on her vehicle and could not afford to pay the additional cost this would have created. His attention to detail is amazing and we owe him so much for treating my daughter like his own by putting her safety first vs just making the repairs and pocketing the money. Thank you so much!!!!
