Really annoying delays when we would talk. We kept talking over each other. Difficult to understand, & they didn't see to have any compassion. Just another phone call. I called St David's & talked to a real local person, who empathized with me. Night & day difference & the choice was clear. I had a couple tests scheduled at the outpatient imaging center. The day of my testing, everyone I interacted with was smiling, upbeat, & so friendly. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Big shout out to Ashley who helped me with my Hida scan.

My ultrasound-guided IV infiltrated, causing unnecessary pain and frustration. Rather than acknowledging what had happened or showing empathy, I felt dismissed throughout my visit. After the IV failed, another senior nurse repeatedly pressured me to undergo another ultrasound-guided IV placement. I respectfully declined, but I was asked again and again despite my answer. By the fourth time I said no, the nurse responded with noticeable attitude before leaving the room. As a patient, I felt that my decision was not being respected and I was being marginalized. I understand that emergency departments are busy and stressful, but kindness, professionalism, and respect for a patient's choices should never be optional. Patients come to the ER feeling scared, vulnerable, and in need of compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, patient care, and respect for patient autonomy so others receive the compassion and dignity every patient deserves.

I can't even describe the way we were taken care of I mean down to the insurance verification agent... Nothing but kindness, understanding the pain he was in.. Our nurse in the room was excellent and funny. Felt like family. The technician that took his scans was great!!! The Doc I personally have to say was on point, my BF explained and he quickly said It sounds like so and so and he was right!!!!!!!!!!!! (Loved the fact that he was in pink scrubs, than another ER Doc passed by and I seen he was in all orange!!! Anyways that's besides the point lol. All I can say is Great place to be taken care of. 10+ out of 10. Thank you everyone.. The rating does not reflect on how we were treated.. That needs to be changed 2.5 please they were a 5.. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in directing me to the right places at the right times. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the pre"op staff especially my nurses Elena and Robin who got me ready for the procedure. After surgery nursing care was very attentive and the room was comfortable and clean. There was plenty of room for visitors but I didn't have them purposely. Staff were helpful in keeping me comfortable. It was a bit noisy bc of construction but ok overall. Recommend.

I first entered St Davids Medical Center Down Town Austin Texas on about 6/11/2026 to ER at about…read more3:00 AM Was admitted to 4 East. I was found to have 2 lumbar Compression fxs. by cat-scan. The Hospitalist that first saw me on 4 east was extremely rude in her manner. I can take rude but she failed to referr me to an orthopedic doctor for my acute fractures. She failed to order a TLSO brace to prevent the progression of the compression fractures. Some doctor who I never met decided I needed Kyphoplasty surgery. However I was told I had to have a MRI to have the surgery. I am 325 lbs and too big for their MRI so I was denied surgery. I ask for a reasonable accomidation to have the MRI done at a outpatient facility that has a wide bore MRI Scanner. This request was denied by some supervisory woman who did not introduce herself. I was denied this ADA accommodation and I ask for discharge which was done without any followup help finding an MRI I could fit in. I purchased my own TLSO as I am a retired Physical Therapist hainge practiced at this hospital for about 12 years. t

Was referred to a GI doctor for my stomach issues only, even though I complained about a fever I've had for 3 days. I came in around 9pm so it seemed like they wanted to go home as fast as possible. Also no hand soap in the waiting room bathroom? Not even a soap dispenser in sight. Save the time and go to a different urgent care EDIT: Found out I had severe dehydration and a nasty virus that needed attention from the ER. Wish I would have received better care.

Ear infection in both ears, runny nose and congestion was found by a pediatrician in Round Rock. we believe they wanted her to go to school and infect more children.
