Thigpen's bait and tackle sells all the fishing gear and bait you need for fresh water fishing. They also carry a limited amount of salt water tackle. I go there at least once a week to buy live bait for fishing at a local lake. They have minnows sized small to large, crickets, night crawlers etc. You can also renew or get your MS sportsman's fishing and hunting license there. A great 1 stop shop in Picayune MS for your fishing needs.

I told them what I was there for, and they pointed the way to the second floor. All concerns were out the door at that point, except for my fear of heights, but I made it. Anyways, it took maybe all of 10 minutes, $60, and I was out the door with my goods. I'll likely go back there for all the other accessories, holsters, etc. They have an excellent selection for pretty much anything you're into, and the prices seemed to be on par with expectations. They checked other stores and found what I need in stock at another store. I will be able to go tomorrow and pick it up. The store is extremely well stocked. Clothing, shoes, life jackets, ice chests, marine road and boat parts. This store has it all. Even if you don't have a boat you could stock up on marine themed accessories. In particular, I have my eye on a ship's bell for my patio.

After it was raised and before it was scraped, I was able to retrieve a few items off of the boat. One of the items was the Lowrance fish finder with the "extended" warrenty from west marine. I brought it back to the store hoping to get a store credit for the destroyed fish finder. Well as expected, they told me there was nothing they could do without the transducer and power cord. I told them that the boat was sunk and destroyed. Sorry, nothing we can do without the transducer and power cord. Just another way to get out of the "extended" warrenty. If I would have had all the parts, then it would have been that I was missing the box or something. First of all, don't buy anything at west marine. Second, don't waste money on the "extended" warrenty. West marine does not honor the warrenty and will find any excuse to get out of it. Never again Worst Marine.

They were open early, and they have a little dock in the back where you can do some crabbing and fishing, too, if you'd like. Shrimp were lively, all right, and she gave us more than we paid for, which was nice. There is unpaved parking and a loop under the bridge if you're headed the other way on the divided highway above.

This clerk starts asking her to rack the slide, drop the magazine, what type of bullet does the pistol use, how many rounds does it hold, who makes the firearm? She answers most of his questions and handled the firearm responsibility but he told her it was a "red flag" because she didnt know all the questions he asked and he personally thinks she is buying the gun for me!! Then tells her this isn't a "starter pistol"!! I ask what is a starter pistol? And ask for a manager, he states he is the manger! Then a lady i have worked with before says she is the manager!! I have helped all my daughters and other friends and family buy firearms and get trained. This experience ruined my fiance experience buying her first firearm. Needless to say I won't EVER buy here again..
