The staff tonight was top notch! From the welcoming Security team who searched my purse (keep it pretty small maybe 13 x 13, or you're gonna have to check it), to the dude who assisted me at the metal detector that I walked through, to the usher who helped me find this seat numbers on the bottom of the folding chairs, to the dude who scanned our tickets and gave us a compliment, to the bartender who made a quick drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regina Spektor and her piano were very grand![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Venue was fairly simple to get to. The ticket counter service was great. Very helpful staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was good. They did a good job at making sure there was adequate lighting while also keeping the concert theme dimmed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't try the food so I cannot comment on that. Parking was painless and there were attendant workers & signs to point you in the right direction. I took my son to see Mudvayne headliner who had 2 other bands opening (co-headliner Static X and opener Vended)

I've got to say between parking, the short walk, and gaining entry with all the people I was pleasantly surprised. Many different offerings for food, drinks, beer or liquor and prices are not bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of space to walk to crowding is not an issue, lots of accessible bathrooms and friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I look forward to attending more events at the Bayou Music Center

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not my favorite venue to go to for concerts... especially if they're only selling floor seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's hard to get a good view of the stage from the back sections if you're not tall since it's a flat seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking garage can be a bit confusing to find since it's across the street and underground. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very barebones venue... not a great place to take pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the very least, it's clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Haven't been here in over two decades. SHENG WANG. WOW! I don't particularly enjoy comedy shows but his show had me laughing so hard i paid attention to every single one of his stories!

We went to see Jecaryous Johnson's Games Women Play. The show was hilarious and well put together. My friends and I had fun and the drinks were very reasonably priced. This is the second time I've been here and have been able to see a concert and now a play. Easy flow into the building, the staff are helpful finding your seat. Great experience.

I went to see the recent Oneus concert here. The concert was absolutely amazing (11 out of 10), but the overall venue experience was not that great. I probably will not go back to this venue unless there's a concert I really want to see here. The parking situation was a mess, and the signs and directions were unclear and confusing. The venue itself was pretty disorganized as well. I got the boxed seatings (VIP), and nobody told us at the check-in that there was a separate check-in or that we needed to get a wristband for the VIP area until we were about to get inside the concert hall. The foods/drinks of course were extremely overpriced of course. The quality was okay for the food/snack options in the hallway outside the concert hall. The VIP menu was not bad though. We go the donut holes, and they were surprisingly really good, which was probably the only redeeming thing about venue.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Listen, this place was easy to get to, and easy to get out of even easy to get to my seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The one gripe I do have is the actual seating itself. Folding chairs that are so close together that anyone slightly overweight you are locking arms with them for the next few hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Luckily Dane Cook was amazing but after his show I went to stand up and I couldn't feel my butt for 2 minutes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bar was extremely limited sure they have beer but I don't like beer I prefer cocktails and they only offered the same drink with three different flavors to choose from for $29 seems ridiculously high.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What I like of this place its by being small compare to other venues, any concert you experience here will feel more intimate, no overwhelming crowds.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We will be attending a concert in Jan. My husband is in a wheelchair and we were advised to by general admission tickets and we would be accommodated. How is the ADA section? What is it like? Is there room? Is it close to the stage? Visibility?

From the times I have been, there was always a gated off area just a few feet from the stage. You shouldn't have any problems.

Attending a concert with an older child Friday night. Parking recommendations?

Parking garage below is always easy.

Hey! I'm going to a concert on Feb 9 there. I may be walking alone to the venue. I'm not sure yet. Would the walk be safe from the parking garages if I got out after dark? How did y'all feel about the safety? Is there a lot of street lighting?

There's a parking garage literally right across the street from the venue. When you get on the Main Street for reception it's the garage to the left and you drive down. The stairs walk right up to the doors to hard rock/revention.…

How early should we arrive for front row?

Depends on the following really. Have been there an hour before and the line wrapped around the building. Then last week had dinner next door, walked out and walked straight into the venue. It's really dependent on the band and their following.

In the 200 level are the seats a little wide and comfortable or are they a little narrow?

There rather comfortable for stadium type seating. Only thing is you'll have to look to the left/right for the whole show depending on how far back you are from the stage. Overall, it's good.

Hey I'm trying to go see Hannibal burress but i wanna bring my son he's 16 but I didn't know if "kids" are cool to bring?

It's a family friendly place. I see lots of teens and adults there. Should be fine. At Ghosf, I even say a maybe 12ish year old. You're good buddy.

Do you guys have metal detectors and good standards when checking for security? Security is #1 for me and judging by some comments, I don't even know if there will be security on the general admission floor.

Hello, yes, we have metal detectors and security located throughout the building. Thank you for reaching out.

What time will dua lipa go on Tuesday night ? And what time should we alot for the line up?

Most main acts start at 9pm here.

I'm looking to buy tickets on the second row and some seats says "obstructed view, what exactly is obstructing the view and does anyone have a photo of how obstructed it is? Does it ruin the whole experience?

Hello, it depends on the show, it could be speakers or part of the stage setup. As it varies by show, we don't have any pictures unfortunately. I don't think it ruins the whole experience, but again it's dependent on what is blocking the view. I…

What time will Steve Aoki go on stage on Friday? Tickets say 8p but I doubt he will go on that early. Thank you

Hello, he will go on at about 11:30. Thanks!

On stubhub it has GA tickets for Steve Aoki with seats? How do you get GA standing tickets?

Hello, you can purchase them from this link: https://concerts1.livenation.com/event/3A005386C0F851A4?tm_link=tm_homeA_header_search&_ga=2.50598633.1971584376.1517500399-657232657.1483653558&f_PPL=true&ab=efeat5787v1…

Hello, if purchased an assigned seating ticket for a show that also has GA standing room will I be able to go down into the GA area as well?

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. You will not be able to enter the GA area if you have a ticket for a seat. I hope this helps.

I'm going to be attending a concert in February. I purchased general admission. I get that is standing room only, but there is general admission for $50 or general admission for $85. What is the difference between GA and GA5?

Hello, which show? I will get you an answer ASAP. Thank you.

I've never had "general admission" tickets before, what does this mean? Will there be no assigned seats? (I am afraid to purchase, not knowing what that means). TIA

Hello, General Admission is standing room only. Please let me know if you need additional information.

    Are paper I.d's accepted?

Hey Delena! You will need a valid government issued ID with a photograph. Thanks for the question and looking forward to seeing you at a show soon!

Ambiance (3/5): Dan Electros is located in a residential neighborhood. They have a relatively small parking lot and it was completely full on a Wednesday. We ended up parking on the street a block or two away. Initially, I wasn't too impressed. Dan Electros has a gravel parking lot. Never a fan. It gets your car dirty and your shoes dirty. When you walk in though, you're entering a dive bar with some character. It's tough to describe what that is exactly but it's something you feel. Dan Electros hosts a lot of live music and they have a small dance floor. If you're into live music, as I am, this may be the spot for you. They also have a pool table which is always a plus in my book. Service (4/5): I ordered a drink at the bar. I was greeted promptly and received my drink promptly. When I later went back to the bar to close out, I was able to do so without much effort. Solid experience overall. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food as I had dinner prior, but I don't think they have food anyway. I'm not 100% though. Drinks (4/5): For a dive bar, Dan Electros has a cool menu with some interesting cocktails and a good beer list. Even at a dive bar, it's nice when you can order more than just beers and simple cocktails. With that said, I had a beer. When in Rome.
