I live 1 min away in Irvine Terrace , I use the UPS store . The Italian restaurant next door & the Alterations place so naturally I was like why not try this place for Dry cleaning .. omg right away the attitude turned me off , but when I heard how much it would cost to dry clean a simple sweater .. I ran away 40 $ + dollars for one sweater . Even In Manhattan I don't pay that much ! This is Highway robbery in the daylight . But good for them for milking it ! Using the system the right way I guess . I drove back to my beautiful kind Newport Beach dry cleaner who greeted me with her usual smile and normal rates .. and amazing work and ethics . I will make sure to post on every social media platform about dishonest people always .. I don't mind paying but being ripped off is something that I cannot stand !!!! read more

We are an older couple and don't really have the abitily to get to the basement anylonger and of course, that's where the washing macnine is. That being said, we started use Bayside cleaners about 6-8 months ago. The price was resonable and fair. Service was always great. These wonderful workers would come to my car to get/deliver my laundry (wash and fold) as I'm a person with some disabilities. Anyway..they now are under new ownership and the prices have just about doubled for escencially the same amounts we drop off bi-weekly or so. Who can afford that in the economy?? Not us as we live on a fixed income and the past 4 years have really crimped our spending ability/liquidity. We are activly looking for a new service. read more

My husband realized his suit and dress shirt were wrinkled with stains on the pants the day before an event. No one could help us get the suit and shirt cleaned and pressed in time, except for Bayside. Dropped off at 9am and picked up at 7pm that same day with all stains gone! Just walked into this place and was greeted with rudeness immediately by the female employee. As I was placing my clothes on the counter she the told me, unsolicited mind you, that they charge $39.95 per jacket for dry cleaning. Although it's understandable to have slightly higher prices due to the area, this is a blatant rip off. Just moved to Promontory Point from the Peninsula and my girlfriend stopped by to drop off a couple of items. She isn't used to doing dry cleaning so understand it's not there job to explain to her their prices but I was in absolute shock to find out she paid over $250 for 5 shirts and 1 jacket and said that they never explained or told her the price until after they were already done and she was picking them up. Feels like a con as she paid for an overpriced shitty dry cleaner that doesn't add any additional value in comparison to its competitors. Will continue to use other mom and pops in the area going forward. Do not go to this place. read more

Your order is ready in a day or two; even SAME DAY if requested early enough. You can request a call when your order is ready; they gladly provide updates. They are more than happy to help you out to your car. The employees are lovely. They genuinely care about you and even your family, which makes sense since it's a family owned and operated business. A bit pricey, but in line with the exceptional quality of work. The owner himself does final inspections on all your garments before they are given to you. I appreciate this extra attention to detail. They double check your clothes when you pick them up. There is plenty of parking right out front which makes dropping off and picking up your clothes simple. Went in to drop off a few shirts for the hubby and a couple of sweaters for me. I had not been here before so I inquired how much they would charge and glad I did! They wanted $19.99 to dry clean a linen men's shirt! Then I had a men's cotton button down (which we prefer to have laundered and pressed) and the gal quoted $5.99 for that. Then another gal stepped in and said no we only dry clean those and that will be $19.99 as well. Then my sweaters they also said $19.99 for each of them as well. So it would have been over $100 for 5 items. Are you kidding me? Instead I took them down to Best Cleaners (which I have done business with for years but was a little out of the way) but glad I did. Best Cleaners did a great job and half the price! I only paid $52 at Best Cleaners on the peninsula. read more

Most expensive dry cleaners! Nothing was stained, just needed regular dry cleaning. 16 items cost me over $600!! This was a shock. Didn't know each item is priced differently & I was never offered the whole price list. I feel cheated. Staff did give me 10% off when I appeared so shocked as prices wasn't given to me when I gave clothes to get dry cleaned. Won't be back & neither will my friends. Way to expensive to even use this place. No rush and just to press a shirt is $15 each, and no military discount is ridiculous! I went to Eagle Cleaners less than 2 miles away and even to rush the same service it was only $4 each. It doesn't cost that much to take 10 seconds and press a shirt with your machine no matter the location. I know it may be expensive to pay your lease in this area but its not the customers fault. More expensive prices means less customers in an area, lower prices means more customers in an area thus making up for the prices and better business overall. read more

This is the best dry cleaners in the world from my experience - like a world class hotel would provide. I have traveled and lived around the world, and this is the best quality I have experienced. Customer service is also top notch and personalized, including pick up and delivery. My experience with Bayside spans over a decade, and they are consistently good with little turnover in staff. 1. Collars are reinforced with removable cardboard and paper stuffing like you would get when buying new. 2. Collars on polo shits are similarly reinforced with little plastic tabs that stay on when wearing to help them lie flat. 3. Shirt sleeves are clipped together to avoid wrinkles in transit. 4. They do an excellent job with complex bedding. 5. They are at the cutting edge on use of environmentally friendly chemicals. 6. The owner attends conferences regularly to continuously improve the service. Most places are cheaper, but if you want world class service from a provider that pays staff decently, cares about the environment and are willing to pay for excellence, this is the place for you. Worst experience I have had dealing with a business. I took 4 polo shirts on Tuesday to this place. I was never given total cost at drop off. When I stopped by for pick up, I was told it will cost over $68.00...Yes over $17 per item. When I asked why the cost is ridiculously high, their explanation was that they have been at their location for a long time. I will be contacting BBB to file a formal complaint. I took in a "dry clean only" nice cream colored sweater with coffee stains splattered on it and picked it up 5 days later where it still had the stains and was still charged nearly $15!!!!!!! I understand if stains don't come out, but come on guys! Call the client to say you cants remove the stains so they can just pick it up! Don't wrap it in plastic and say nothing, and just charge the full cleaning fee! They did attach a tag to the hanger saying they couldn't remove, but still charged $15! read more
