This is my second review of this place, and I will continue to sing their praises. One story that truly highlights this is when I brought in a dress that I thought could never be fixed. Someone had spilled red wine all over my light blue dress, and it splattered across the entire front of the dress top to bottom. Well, these miracle workers spent a good deal of time on it, and my dress was returned as good as new. I may be learning some lessons about who I choose to sit next to when they have a drink, but the good lesson I learned is how awesome is business is. Also the people who work here are always so nice and friendly! A great local business and I love the chance to drive up, it makes it easy. read more

This place is best-in-class. I recently had a wine glass break on me and the spill littered my white long-sleeve shirt in red wine. My initial thought was that the shirt was ruined, but I decided to take it to Mr. Best Cleaners. Ownership went out of their way to fix the shirt for me by ordering additional chemicals and agents to restore the shirt to brand new. After one week from the "spill", I picked up my shirt in perfect condition despite being 50% covered in red spots a few days prior. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to take their clothes to this establishment and especially if you have problematic situations like I did. This place is great! I'm constantly spilling food and drinks on my clothes, and they're always able to remove the stains. Very good with leather products as well, including suede. Very friendly service and super quick turn around. Best dry cleaner in town!! read more

I really want to give this place zero stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are extremely deceiving with their prices. In two separate occasions they charged me for items that I did not have dry cleaned. The first time I pointed it out while still having the clothes I was picking up in my hand so they adjusted the price. The second time I unfortunately took my 15 items home already. I came back to show them they charged me for 18 times and they said they weren't the one that made the mistake and that I was lying. read more

Excellent cleaners. They lost our down comforter. Other than that perfect. Except when I called about other items I was asked ifnwe found it (the comforter) Ummmm. Its a giant down comforter that we literally could not possibly misplace...an d there would only be ONE place I would ever, in a million years, take a giant down comforter to... survey says, Ding Ding Ding... Good Job Alex you guessed the Dry Cleaners and that is correct... Applause here. While we could have been offered a replacement (Thats how I do business)... or a coupon card for $1.50 off the next cleaning... we were given neither... and I suppose some people have too much pride. The BEST... I travel a ton for work and frequently have stains that sit for days before being cleaned. Mr Best gets the stains out and deliver your clothes clean and fresh (no icky dry cleaner fluid smell). Had a mishap at a client dinner at a wine bar... The waitress spilled an entire glass of red wine on designer white cotton pants (see photo). Needless to say they were expensive, a fav, and sat with red wine and whatever the waitress tried to clean it with (turned the stain green) for days in a hot car as I finished seeing clients in the central coast. Dropped it off at Mr.Best and they GOT THE STAIN OUT! The white pants are perfect.... Happy! Trust them with your expensive pieces, you won't be disappointed. read more

A little pricey, but you're paying for the convenience of being able to DRIVE THRU! I think it's totally worth it when you just don't feel like getting out of your car or having to worry about parking. I've also never had to wait behind anyone else when I've gone so I'm in and out really fast... this is probably the fastest errand you can run! I've only dropped off a few items there, but they seem to do good quality work and have a fairly fast turnaround (2 days). I would probably find a cheaper place if I had a huge load of dry cleaning to drop-off, but I'll definitely keep going there whenever I only have a couple items that need to be dry cleaned. read more

Been going here for years and couldn't be happier! I have to echo what another reviewer said...Yi-hwa is truly the sweetest! I always look forward to seeing her. Also, the drive-thru couldn't be more convenient and it's easily accessed from PCH in both directions. Most importantly, my clothes always look fantastic! I am so happy to have found Mr. Best Cleaners in my home town of Corona del Mar! Most important: Mr. Best performs all their services ON SITE, which is not easy to find these days, with many other cleaners transporting garments to an off-site central processing facility out of town. There is more risk of lost garments when it leaves the premises. Plus, I like meeting the folks face-to-face that will be treating my items. My personal experience with Mr. Best: I took a badly wrinkled Prada dress into their shop and the very nice and knowledgeable lady named Yihwa made it look brand new in minutes! My wife and I just moved into the area. We went to this cleaners. One pair of her pants had tabs on the belt. When we got it back it had tin foil on one end and it was shredded on the other. My wife was upset. When I asked the owner about it she said that her employee said,"that's how they were when they came in". Interesting that her employee had a perfect memory and my wife is a liar. After some not-so-great experience with dry-cleaners by my house, I thought, why not try one next to my work? I walk by this one every day, so convenience was key (especially because I am usually horrible at remember to pick up my garments!!!!). Everything from my first interaction to picking up my stuff wasn't great. Yes, it's a drive-thru. You drive up and there's a little hose you run over and it ding-dings them. So I waited several minutes for someone to come out and I mentioned that I was a new customer. He wrote down my phone number and I said "I have 3 shirts and two pairs of pants." He gives me my pick-up ticket and it said FOUR garments. I was like no dude, I said 5. He said it's okay, he meant to write 5. So, I leave, already fretting that I'm going to be missing something upon pick-up. A few days later I got to pick up my stuff and luckily all 5 garments were there. The whole drive-thru thing didn't really help since I have a 2-door car...I guess she usually puts your stuff on your backseat/hook for ya. That was lost on me...anyway... The grand total for 5 garments? $35!!!! $7 each?! REALLY?! That is literally more than I paid for some of the stuff (the dress shirts I got at Ross for $5.99!!!) On top of feeling like I was totally ripped off, I noticed that my seams weren't pressed properly on my pants...they were about 1/2" off the seam, which is super annoying. If you lose your laundry ticket you are sunk here. I gave them my number and they could not find it.... When I finally found my ticket the number on the ticket was the same as I gave them and I had to repeat it several times- and they still could not find it. It's a local number to boot! If you like having to make a second trip back after finding a ticket- or if you are the type that NEVER loses a ticket... great...go with them. But if you on occasion can not find your ticket... the old saying( before computers) . of "no tickee no laundree" applies.. Retrieving your clothes is even more important than cleaning them...I suggest using another cleaner as they are abundant around here. read more

Mr Best Cleaners in Corona Del Mar is truly the best for laundry and dry cleaning! I was wearing a white linen shirt for an evening out and during dinner at a local restaurant a full glass of red wine was spilled on the shirt. The following morning I drove from Irvine to Corona Del Mar on a friend's recommendation, after a neighborhood cleaner refused the job, to take the shirt to Mr Best. They were able to remove the stain and return the shirt as good as new! Since then my wife and I have taken our dry cleaning to Mr Best even though it is a 20 minute drive from home. The service is fast and friendly and the dry cleaning result could not be better. I would not take my dry cleaning anywhere else but Mr Best!! read more

This place is great. Obviously the drive-thru convenience factor plays a big role in the 5 stars, but the employees are awesome and the quality of work is top notch. My items are always ready for pick up on time, if not early. I brought in a very expensive dress that had deep stains down the folds of the dress and they were able to get it out no problem (without damaging the material). Have brought in some other items for sew work and have not been disappointed. Overall, a good place to bring your dry cleaning items to. read more

BE WARY! This is the second time I've been here and the bill comes back way more than expected. Check your ticket upon dropping off clothes. They do not mark down what's requested and then change the order and charge more. I was told it's because "it speeds things up during drop-off". I dropped off four shirts to be laundered at $3 apiece. Came to pick them up and three shirts were changed to be dry cleaned with no record and they were charging $21 and said they couldn't change the price. Nor would they give me my shirts until I talk to a manager. Now I have to return based around their schedule to sort things out. That prime location of theirs comes at a price apparently. read more
