First time coming in and possibly not the last Another local eatery that outweighs the big boys with friendly people and good eats. Friday dinner time and plenty of seating the menu is large but I wanted to try one thing only Ruben my GF had a breakfast skillet. My meal I pick coleslaw since it's a must for myself at every restaurant and this one was good had juice and smaller pieces of veggies. As for my Ruben it was good the meat was tender and I opted for coleslaw on top the fries were also good. Wish there was more meat, unfortunately this is a issue time to time I've noticed with some smaller mom and pop restaurants stingy on the portions of meat on sandwiches. The inside of the restaurant seemed to be clean other than the bathrooms which.... Needed some attention. The staff seemed very nice and helpful Would I come back, yes! read more

The waitresses are friendly and provide excellent service. i tried the gyro platter - which came with enough bread and meat for 2-3 half size sandwiches, choice of side (fries) and a side salad. I'm always looking for a small spot to get soup & salad, especially for a quick lunch. Not too far from my work, I found this Family Diner. Upon arriving today to pick up my carry out I noticed hot hot it was inside, hoping they get their AC running for their employees and the guests who were dining inside. I ordered a medium fajita chicken salad and a cup of chicken lemon rice, side of pita & only $10. The salad was a generous portion for only ordering the medium, the lemon rice was a bit different in consistency (little more runny than I like) but was very good. Very filling and yummy lunch! I'd definitely come back for a carry out from here! read more

Giving this restaurant a 1 star, and didn't even want to do that. I went to Dimitri's and first of all, the waitress was extremely rude, The owner is even ruder than that. The bread was moldy and he refused to take it off the bill, the floor and every table we sat at was dirty. The waitress said it was because they were busy. I have been in the restaurant industry for 40 years and never seen a more disgusting place to eat or more excuses for the uncleanliness. Please do not waste your time at this dirty and rude restaurant. read more

We came for lunch. There's an extensive menu and several soup du jour options. The potatoe and chicken pot pie soups were good. We ordered saganaki, gyros, hanis, chili dogs and so we're very good. Out server was excellent and I didn't catch her name. I was pleasantly surprised with our visit. Highly recommended. read more

Pink Greek dressing was a plus... no pita to accompany was a minus... hella crazy stomach pains after...definitely a minus...but that may have been an internal issue and not theirs...but, nonetheless... I'll always wonder... There seem to be a ton of Coney type restaurants in this area...so...we'll see...and my tab for said experience was a bit high for the quantity... Everything we had here was bland or odd tasting. French onion soup, beef barley soup, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and a gyro. I can't recommend any of it. This restaurant has every type of food, breakfast, lunch, dinner - Greek, Italian, Polish, Mexican, ect. Typically restaurants that do this fail, and usually you want them to be really good at one thing. If you have picky eaters, or everyone wants something different, this place deserves a chance. Price is fair. Wait staff is fine. Dining area is clean. Food comes out quick. I have never seen this place busy, typically half a dozen patrons. The location is a little pushed back from 23 mile road, next to the bounce house. Although I am still looking for my signature dish here, my little ones love this place. read more

Went there for lunch with four other women. Ordered lunch one of the lady's received her order soup first then her sandwich. On the plate under her sandwich was a Long black hair. The waitress asked if she would like anything else, she said no thank you. When we were done the waitress handed her a bill for her soup and ice tea. I spoke up said I though they was wrong. The waitress said the manager wasn't there and they didn't know what to do. She took the receipt took off the soup and left the tea. Wrong... You don't give her a bill at all and offer her a lunch at a different time. Train your employees. read more

This is by far my families home away from home comfort food for taste, price and service. They place is amazing clean. Great environment and can you believe they are next to New Your Deli that makes the same food at 30% more the price? The cooks are amazing and friendly, the servers are polite and fun to talk to and the food is out of this world. When I say comfort food I mean growing up on french onion soups, fries and veal cutlets. They are by far hands down the best for all foods for comfort. Name a single restaurant that offers an entire menu for under $10 including steaks. Doesnt happen and thats why they are my number 1 for close comfort foods. I reccomend the Monterey Chicken, Veal cutlets, and Fish and Chips. The salads are top of the line. And dont forget most meals include rice pudding, jello or tapioca pudding to eat there or go. A must visit for anyone either craving comfort foods or an amazing priced meal. This place will soon shut down the New York Deli.....sorry but not sorry. read more

Great experience! Ordered carry-out, it was ready in the time frame they said, and what a bang for your buck! Just over $20 for a gyro platter and polish combo, that included soup, salad and dessert! The food was still hot when I got home, and even after 2 adults eating, there were leftovers. Also, the restaurant is set-up very well for social distancing and safety. We'll be back! read more

Me and my family come here about once a week. I have a slight addiction to the Greek salad. They have the pink Greek dressing which is my favorite and hard to find. My husband likes the chicken Alfredo or veal Parmesan. He was nervous ordering something like that from a coney type restaurant but he said it was delicious. Clean place. Nice servers. read more

I was severely disappointed with this place. Me and my girlfriend ordered takeout and it just killed the mood of the entire night... it was so bad that we both threw out most of our meals. The fries were disgusting, severely undercooked, cold, floppy, greasy and inedible. The turkey tasted like it was frozen leftovers from last thanksgiving and I'm not even going to get in to how bad the gravy was. The bread had a weird taste, the soup was mediocre at best. Nothing saved either of our meals, it was all terrible. The only thing I would eat from this place ever again was the corn and it definitely came from a can. I feel like this place stole $25 from me. I would have rather eaten McDonald's without a doubt. I don't know how this place has any good reviews, I would give it negative if I could. I feel bad writing this because I NEVER write reviews but I felt it was necessary for everyone to know not to spend their money here. I work hard for my cash and I feel like I just got it taken from me. I went in at 630 and there were no cars in the parking lot and there were zero other orders. I always want local businesses to succeed and it sucks that I have to write this review, but I don't want anyone to get scammed like I did. A true tragedy. read more

LOVE this place - Very clean inside and big with tables and booths - the down side is that it is in a strip mall that is half empty and abandon but don't let that stop you - go in and fill yourself up on some home cooking. You won't regret it ;-) read more

Overall pleasantly surprised. I noticed this resturant after having a very bad experience with the great wall chinese resturant ( it's in the same plaza, see my other review ) .I decided to give them a try. I got 2 carryout orders of spinach pie. and one chefs salad. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. after going home and eating. both my girlfriend & I were both satisfide. the spinach pie was awesome, hot & fresh the salad was also very good. Hopefully, this resturant will continue to keep up the good quality & service. read more
