Their pizza is always consistent, great sauce and cheese. I've been getting slices there for years!

The rating and review are primarily for the gluten free square pizza…read more The only complaint I can think of is it only comes in one size... small. It was so good that despite being very full, I would have eaten a second pizza, if it were available. It is a thicker crust, Detroit style pizza with sauce on top. The crust was one of the best gluten free crusts I've had. as there is a flavor of yeast which is typically missing from most gluten free crusts. Again, it was thicker, and still had a crisp outside, and chewy inside, as Detroit pizza typically is. I will say, quite remenuscent of when I used to be a normal, gluten eating human.... Pizza is not inexpensive, for sure, but, it has moved into first place for GF pizza in my book. Another huge plus for me is that they do not cut the crust. I typically ask through this with gluten free pizza anyways as it increases the cross contamination risk, tenfold. So I was happy with that. My husband, ( a normal, as I refer to his eating ability), ordered the regular pizza which he liked quite a bit. Next time, we would ask for light sauce as it was a bit heavy on the sauce. A tip would be to order online as the specials and pricing are better then calling in an order. Cloverleaf, you just have become our go to pizza place!!! Thank you for a great GF pizza!

The dough will be really undercooked in some areas. And it's a gross almost like gummy texture. See the attached photos of a "normal peice" vs undercooked piece. And we specifically ordered this well done. The bread and ranch are good but I think it will be a long time before we come back again.

Motor Cafe - Detroit Coney Island Pizza. The crust tasted kind of frozen, but the combination flavors was otherwise excellent.

Then it's topped with hot ground beef, onions, black olives, green pepper, jalapenos with sour cream and salsa on the side. I think there's some refried beans in there too. This lovely creation rests on a sheet of aluminum foil, so you know it's gonna be good. I'm a sucker for good old sloppy bar food and Motor Cafe fires on all cylinders. Love the overly beer-battered chicken fingers, and garlic parm wings. Good hamburgers. Deep fried oreos too. Salads looked HUGE. There's lots of daily specials and a big old 80's Ritz-like bar too. Prices were very reasonable considering the entrenched inflation all over America. Service was great. Very down to earth people. Tip them good. Keep your expectations in check. Inside it's a cavernous warehouse. Seriously, it's huge like echos in the canyon. So big, your crazy kids could swing in the rafters. If your looking for warm and cozy consider Applebees instead. There's a degree of bowling alley seediness, a touch of carnival, and an air of anxious fun. See the fat people in bad t-shirts, smell the bleach-beer, hear the clunk of distant bowling pins. Taste the beef. This is real America. I love it. Bonus: Architectural remnants of the former Mt. Clemens Drive-In decorate the place. I frequented such for over three decades. Last film I saw there was "Casper The Friendly Ghost" (1995).
