Probably the best food in New Baltimore! I've had the smash burger, club sandwich and chicken Alfredo. Never a bad meal. I sometimes go with my nephews who love the arcade room. Sitting outside is nice too. The servers are a hit or miss. I've had really good service, and a few times I've had servers who seem annoyed with their job. read more

My boyfriend and I visited this establishment with friends on June 6, and what should have been a nice night out turned into one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. When we arrived, we ordered food and drinks directly from the bar and paid immediately. We then joined our friends at a table and continued ordering through our server. At the end of the night, our bill included the food and drinks we had already paid for at the bar. We politely explained that those items had already been paid for and that there was likely a misunderstanding somewhere between the bar and waitstaff. Instead of investigating the issue, we were repeatedly told that according to staff, we had not paid. We explained multiple times that we had paid, recalled the approximate total, and even suggested reviewing the security footage. What was most disappointing was not the billing error itself. Mistakes happen. The problem was how the situation was handled. Rather than treating it like a possible misunderstanding, we felt we were immediately treated as though we were being dishonest. It seemed that staff accounts were accepted without question while our explanation was dismissed. At one point, we were told that checking the cameras would take too long and would not be done. We were essentially expected to accept responsibility for a situation that may very well have been caused by a breakdown in communication among staff. One member of our group became upset during the dispute. We apologized and did our best to de-escalate the situation, despite the fact that his behavior had nothing to do with the original billing issue. Throughout the interaction, my boyfriend and I remained calm and focused on resolving the problem. To avoid further conflict, we paid for the items ordered through our table server and left. My boyfriend provided his phone number and a photo of his ID so management could contact him after reviewing the security footage. Nearly a week later, we still have not received any follow-up. In fact, when we called for an update ourselves, we were told that no one had even reviewed the footage yet. What continues to bother us is not the money. We could have paid the bill without issue. The problem is the principle of the matter. We were placed in an uncomfortable situation, treated as though we were at fault, and then left waiting without answers. The fact that no one has reached out with an update, acknowledgment, or even a simple apology speaks volumes. As the only Black customers in the establishment that evening, the experience left us questioning whether we would have been treated the same way had we been someone else. We cannot speak to anyone's intentions, but we can speak to how the experience felt. We left feeling dismissed, presumed dishonest, and unworthy of the same benefit of the doubt that was extended to staff members. At the end of the day, this review is not about a billing mistake. It is about accountability, professionalism, and respect. A simple acknowledgment that the situation was handled poorly or an apology for the experience would have gone a long way. Instead, we were left feeling as though we were apologizing for everyone else's mistakes while receiving no courtesy in return. read more

Went here for the Halloween theme they had going on. It was cute and even outside was decorated they only had drink that were theme as far as their food for Halloween theme.which they were yummy and a HIT we tried four of them!.But the food was very good. The bang bang shrimp was on piont and I got the boom boom hamburger with added onion strings instead of onion rings (soooo good) and my hubby got the bourbon hamburger which he Said was good as well. Went out to dinner with friends and visited The Local Goat for the first time. It is mainly a bar restaurant atmosphere, but there is also a separate arcade area which would be nice for kids. Our waitress was polite and seemed to know the menu well while answering questions we had. We ordered the Tater Kegs for an appetizer, they were really good. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and the Talk Curdy To Me burger. The fish tacos were good, but the fish to slaw ratio was way off, I ate mostly slaw. The burger was good but was a little greasy. The onion rings with the burger were pretty good. I ordered the margarita flight and my husband ordered the shark attack fishbowl. I loved the margaritas. The shark attack was okay but very very strong. Overall the food was okay and the drinks were good. read more

All around it was mediocre at best. I did like the ambience though. I would go back just to have a drink at the bar but not for dinner. The service was very nice but slower than slow. Hubby got the double smash burger, nothing special. I got the chili bang bang spud, nothing good at all. It for sure looked nothing like the picture. This made the cut! A remarkable place! At first glance it's a trendy little restaurant with a cozy setting. But then voila there is a small but substantive, well kept arcade that could be right out of the nineties. I was wondering how good the food would be and then zam! The inside of this place is sooo cute! Lots of lights, cool pictures on the wall, fun things to look at. I enjoyed the ambiance. I came here with a friend for happy hour from 1-3pm. The happy hour was kind of disappointing- they don't offer much. They have $5 appetizers but it's only 3 out of the many appetizers they offer. Luckily, cheese curds was one of them so I was at least happy about that. But still, really limited. My friend and I got two of the $5 apps, cheese curds and the tater tots. Both were alright but nothing special. My friend got chicken tacos as an entree and she liked it. I got steak bites and a garden salad. The steak bites weren't seasoned very well and way too salty. The salad was fine but the lettuce was starting to wilt. We both got a margarita flight which was pretty decent. The dragon fruit margarita was really tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. The music was good. I wish the food had tasted better overall, but it was still a good experience and I'd be back to give another try. read more

Ordered carryout chicken Caesar salad and the Texas melt. The salad was good and the dressing had a light lemon flavor to it but I don't care for cubed chicken and there was not much of it. The Texas melt was ordered medium well and was a bit dry but the overall flavor of the onions and thousand island dressing were just right. Some of the best bar food i've had. It took a minute for everything to come out both times i've tried it, but I would say that the flavor was worth the wait. If you like chicken wings, try them here! I also came here at night on a weekend before, and it was dead. Maybe past a certain time, they could dim the lights and put on good, trendy music or consider a jukebox rather than someone's phone. There were long ads playing in between songs that was a huge buzzkill. Our waitress wasn't so attentive this time for it being sooo slow. I decided to try this place out and it was alright. I got the curd burger which is a neat concept but the burger was awfully dry, and I ordered it medium well and it was more well done. I had to use a bunch of mayo to be able to eat it and at times I felt as if I was still choking it down. The sauce that came on the burger had good flavor but there was hardly any on there. The fries were good, they were thick but still crunchy which I like. The service was a bit slow even though there wasn't a whole lot of people in there. The decor on the walls seemed pretty neat. Went on Wednesday wing day. Service was slow, but our waitress was very pleasant. Ordered the buffalo and boom boom wings. Buffalo were tasty, the boom boom were decent, but drowning in sauce. We also ordered the chicken tacos, they were awful. 3, maybe 4 very small pieces of dry chicken and very light on the other fillings. The small soft tortilla was about one quarter filled when folded. I'm sure the goal is to cut their cost on ingredients, but not good for word of mouth or repeat patronage. Overall, would not recommend. read more
