I really like this place. Elaine is the sweetest. She cares about your nails, as well as your overall health! This place offers a variety of services. The atmosphere is quiet and serene. Sorry but this place is totally understaffed you have to make an appointment and even then I had to wait 20 minutes they had nothing but water to offer no wine or mixed drink I used a Groupon for NexGen nails which I thought was a good deal $18 and I go and I had to pay an extra $10 when I checked out for French . They quoted me one price over the phone & then charged me a diffrent price AFTER my nails were done! I had no recourse, and it was so frustrating since no one could speak english!! The salon was hot & flies we're buzzing around me the entire time...it was not a relaxing spa experience. I should have known that something was wrong with this place when I walked in and I was the only customer...I was there for an hour and they didn't have any other customers walk in. This past Saturday I was having engagement photos taken and needed to get my nails done. I was there before they even opened waiting on them so that I could get in and out before they got busy. I had been here when they were glamor nails and never had any real problems. I came back on the recommendation of a friend who still uses them. They showed up right at 9am to open and had a bunch of pkgs cluttering the waiting area and were bringing more in. I told the lady that opened that I needed a mani/pedi, there was one other woman that came in with me getting her eyebrows done. The teenage daughter of the woman that opened asked me if I would like something to drink, I told her a coke would be awesome she went in the back and never brought it out to me. They got me in a chair quickly but the tech that was doing my feet acted like it was his first day and he had no clue what he was doing. Phillip (I discovered his name from another post on here) brought me a menu of different pedicures they offer, I chose a mid range option that came with a mud mask treatment and paraffin wax or hot rocks massage (no one ever asked me which I wanted they just brought out the paraffin wax, I would have preferred the hot rocks) Phillip disappeared and the tech (who walked around with this look on his face like he had just smelled moldy cheese somewhere and really didn't want to be there) kept calling for him to ask him something to no avail. When I handed the tech my polish I told him that was for my toes and I wanted french tips on my hands, he just looked at me. The tech never massaged my legs or even touched them (part of the pkg) barely massaged my feet, managed to forget to turn off the water in the basin which overflowed all over the floor and got my purse wet (thankfully I was able to get to it before it ruined my tablet or any of the papers that I had in there. Meanwhile, Phillip and another woman were just standing around chatting while there is no one there. My tech finished my feet and left me sitting in the chair the lady that opened came by and put my shoes on me and helped me out of the chair then walked off again. I went and stood by the front, by now there are several people there getting mani/pedi and the original lady ask me if I am ready to pay I had to tell her twice that I still needed my manicure and the 2nd time she turns around to Phillip and says something to him and claimed that he didn't hear her tell him that I wanted a mani and he looks at me and proceeds to tell me I will have to wait b/c he has to do this other lady's manicure (who he hadn't even started yet) b/c she had an appt. I proceed to tell him and the other lady that I have to be somewhere too and am in a time crunch. The lady tells me she will do my manicure as soon as she finishes the little girl she is working on. About 10 mins later she takes me to a private room to do my nails and then proceeds to start telling me about this great weight loss program that they offer. I have not been so offended in my life! I didn't ask you about your weight loss program, I never even said anything about trying to lose weight so why would you just assume that b/c I am a bigger woman that I would just want to lose weight? She ends up giving me a whole whopping $5 off for the inconvenience which brought my total to $50 for a half ass pedi by someone who didn't know what he was doing, HORRIBLE customer service and to be insulted and ignored. Oh, did I forget to mention that on their website it says free manicure with purchase of a pedicure? Yeah, that didn't happen. What should have been an hour at most ended up taking 2 hours! I had the opportunity to just walk out without paying several times and at the time I kept telling myself that was not the right thing to do but I can't promise that if it ever happened again I wouldn't do just that! read more

Last week I called and made an appointment for the Mani-Pedi Combo for Monday at 9:00 a.m. I arrived a few minutes before 9:00 and told the lady who I was and that I had an appointment for the Mani-Pedi at 9:00. She informed she that she was in the middle of working with another customer and she would have to call someone to take me. I asked her how long that would take and she said about 30 minutes, 9:30. I don't understand why there was no one available when I had an appointment! My time is valuable and I specifically made arrangements to enjoy some time for myself, which did not happen. Let me begin by stating that my review is for their massage services. I have not ever had my nails done here, so I can not speak to that service. This was the worst massage I have had in my entire life. It was SO bad that I actually did something I've never done before... I ended the massage, got up off the table, and I left. To begin with, they do not use standard draping as, to my knowledge, is required by state licensing laws. I was given a small towel just large enough to cover my butt, and no sheets were provided. No face cradle was provided either. I laid on the table with my neck crooked to the side. I expect better. Now, on to the actual massage... HORRIBLE!!! I can't even call it a massage. The girl just put WAAAAY too much oil on me and then proceeded to push it around my body, sometimes with the use of lightly applied hot stones. I asked no less than 6 times for her to increase the pressure. She simply would not. I finally firmly said, "I am REALLY going to need you to increase the pressure!" She still would not. I can't even say that the pressure was "only rubbing lotion on my skin", because rubbing lotion in requires just a little bit of pressure. No. This was pushing puddles around my back. I was further insulted when the person who appeared to be the owner or manager came in and had the audacity to say that they did not understand that I wanted deep tissue. DEEP TISSUE?? Really?? I explained that no, I did NOT want deep tissue, but that what I got was not even light touch swedish, and I expected more than pushing puddles of oil around. I could tell that she wanted to make it right, but by this point, I had lost all faith in the establishment due to the lack of proper draping, the lack of face cradle, and the horrible "thing they called massage." In the process of our conversation, she accidentally mentioned that the person they put me in a room with was not even a licensed massage therapist, but that the manager-person WAS. I found this offensive and I have actually been advised that this business should be reported to the state for these violations, including the draping issue. When I got home, I was so slathered in oily puddles that my clothing was oily and I actually had to use a combination of shower gel and salt to scrub the over-abundance of oil off of my body. Maybe they do decent nails. I would not know. But most definitely, do NOT go here for a massage! read more

I called to see if the salon was open late and the girl let me know the salon closed at 7:30 (Monday night around 8:30) and i was disappointed and ended the call. She called me back and asked if i would still like to come in and she would take care of me if i arrived within 15 min so i definitely agreed! Salon was for sure closed and i am beyond greatful they could see me so late. I would definitely come back during normal business hours because they were able to accommodate me with such late notice. The young girl who helped me was the owners daughter i believe but i honestly just needed one done so i have no complaints. Very nice young lady and so sweet. read more

This is NOT a spa by any means! Received a gift card for a hot stone massage. Showed up and got a sales pitch I didn't understand. Ended up with two people massaging me who clearly had no idea what they were doing. The bed was a facial bed with a pillow which was terrible. They kept going in and out of the room, the rocks were too hot and when the time was up left the door open. So unprofessional. Then the owner/manager charged me extra for the hot rocks. I had broken 2 nails that day at work and it was my first time to visit this salon......and my last time. As soon as I walked in, the employees laughed at me and after they gained their composer they asked me if they could help me. I told them that I had an appointment as well as the service I was requesting. The older Asian lady that works there continued to laugh. I was very confused and attempted to understand what was happening. I thought that maybe I had toilet paper on my shoe or a booger hanging from my nose or something of that nature. The young male employee saw that I was upset from being laughed at and seemed to be concerned. He offered to do my pedicure and of course, I accepted. They didn't have the nail color that I wanted but I chose a color that was a couple of shades darker. My manicure and pedicure looked nice even though I requested for my toenails to be trimmed and they refused. Before I left, the older Asian lady told her customer that if she came back to ask for her because the other people would not do a good job like she had done. How could you put your co-workers down like that in front of customers? You should all be a team and understand how customers should be treated, as well as your fellow employees. The two individuals who did my mani/pedi did a good job so I left them a tip. I will go to my regular nail salon from now on. I'm still upset, embarrassed, and confused. :( read more
