--------------- Update --------------- After not hearing from them for nearly a month, Crystal finally called to apologize and then said that this will be 100% taken care of and that she will schedule someone to come out and inspect the issues. Someone (JR) finally did come out to inspect and eventually contractors will be scheduled to come out for the actual repairs. Now that the repairs are done, it looks great just how it was when it was originally installed. Thanks Bayside for taking care of the repairs, I really just wished that my 10+ calls were not blatantly ignored and that things were only resolved because of my original Yelp review --------------- Original review --------------- After roughly 8 months of the installation completed, some of the pavers started to sink and then created large gaps between the pavers. This must have been because the workers made a mistake in setting the foundation and so the pavers were not stable to begin with. It became a serious issue because this was in the front driveway and it poses a tripping hazard and I needed to resolve this as soon as possible I called them first about this on 9/11/23 and Crystal told me to email back with warranty claim form, which I did immediately I called for a status update on 9/25/23 and Crystal said she scheduled someone to come out to take a look that week. Nobody came that week I called for another status update on 10/16/23 and Crystal said she needed more pictures about of the issues, I texted them to her immediately I called on 10/23/23, no reply I called 4 times on 11/01/23, no reply I called 2 times on 11/02/23, no reply I called 2 times on 11/03/23, no reply At this point, they are just ignoring me which is absolutely garbage of customer service. If you don't want to help me with this issue just let me know so I can figure out a different solution. All I wanted to know was, what can be done and if/how much it would cost and I was professional and polite with them the whole time. read more

We can not begin to express how pleased we have been with every single aspect of our interaction with this company. This is something we have been thinking about for a very long time. Last year we went to a buying show in Napa and narrowed down three companies to interview for this job. All three interviews went very well. What put us over the top (aside from really being impressed with Luiz, the owner) was Bayside Pavers reviews. They did not disappoint! Luiz is charming and very professional. His bid was very reasonable. We quickly received a 3D presentation of what our project would look like, and he had great input and was very intuitive as to what we were looking for. His team arrived exactly on time each and every day. They were all hard workers and very pleasant. Luiz was very involved in setting up the job. The team worked well without supervision but Luis would come on occasion and never hesitate to roll his sleeves up, and jump right in. On one occasion I looked out and saw one of the guys helping our 88 year old neighbor around some debris and into a waiting car. Every evening they cleaned up the site and the street. There is not one thing I could complain about with this company. We had a few loose pavers in the first few weeks. We called and they were out the very next day. This company gets these reviews because of their professionalism, their work ethic, their follow up, their attention to detail, their team and actually how nice they all are. Bayside Pavers did a great job from start to finish. We replaced our our broken driveway, old back deck and river stone side yard with pavers. Bayside's quote compared favorably to stamped concrete. Wow! What a gorgeous make over. Estimator/project manager, Kris, also helped with design tips and 3D CAD renderings to allow us to compare design options. The crews worked FAST but did not sacrifice quality. Bayside has separate crews specialized to each project phase. No lag times between phases. We scrutinized every step and were impressed by the attention to bed preparation and drainage. Project clean-up was excellent, although removal of the last small piles of debris took too long. Bayside crews coordinated effectively with our fencing contractor as theses projects overlapped. They also handled arrangements with USA, underground service alert. Bayside accommodated our special requests such as saving our many large flagstones. Normally these would have ended up in landfill. Kris and Nelson moved these across the street. Our neighbors now have a beautiful flagstone patio. Kris was always available by phone to deal with the inevitable issues that occur with a large project. When major tree roots were uncovered in the patio area a redesign was required to save the tree. This was handled real-time, without drama and at no additional cost. Bayside Pavers took out our existing deck and patio and put down pavers. We noticed they only put down liner under part of the patio and none under the sidewalk. When we mentioned this to them they put down liner under part of the exposed but didn't remove the gravel they put down. When asked about liner they said it was under everything but when the project manager check there was still parts of the patio without liner under it. As far as laying the pavers, the first section the pavers are lined up nicely and the joints are tight. Later on, they seem to get in a hurry and the work got sloppier. There are several joints that are pretty large (considering the pavers are butted up against each other). They did a very sloppy job putting down the polymer (missing from a lot of joints). They left out 2 pavers on the perimeter. Once it was finished, we had to clean up sand and gravel out of the grass and around the edges. We had another patio done last year and the workmanship was much nicer but it was a different company. Everytime we look at this new patio, we find more places where it was uneven. They offered to come back and fix the big items but what is the point. I think this is the best work they can do. It was a very frustrating experience and we are just trying to move on. read more

Luiz and team were terrific! I had a backyard that I had no idea what to do with. I had contacted several (many actually) companies and wavered between stamped concrete, pavers and traditional landscaping. I ultimately decided on pavers for their low cost of maintenance and ultimately the very nice look that they give. Luiz and Adriana came out and spent a decent amount of time walking through options (as well as the muddy sloppy mess in the backyard) in order to make us feel comfortable because we had never done pavers at any of our previous houses. We finally agreed on a nice style of paver and and Luiz was able to book us just a week later. Work started and all I can say is that the quality, craftsmanship was some of the best I've ever seen. From the correct sloping so that rain doesn't collect on the hard surfaces and pool to Luiz noticing that some lower areas would need additional drainage, the whole experience was awesome. The team was professional and worked tirelessly to make sure our expectations were met. They were met and exceeded! My yard went from a muddy mucky wasteland to a beautiful place that we now often have our evening glass of wine on. When we go to change the front yard from icky concrete to pavers Luiz and Bayside Pavers are who we will call. read more

From our first meeting, through completion of our project, Luiz and Adriana exceeded our expectations 1000 times over. They, and their crew, installed a beautiful set of walkways. They made wonderful suggestions on patterns, designs and product choices. They even did some onsite mock ups for us to look at prior to making our final decisions. Adrianna and the crew at Bayside Pavers did a spectacular job for us, at out home in Petaluma, from the initial design to the completion of the work.
