All of the resorts in the area are old and run down. This one was a step above what we were driving by and I was happy! Check in was fast and easy. They gave us the free drink tickets and a coupon for a discount at some local restaurants. We booked here for the pools and we did use them a lot over the one night stay. The outdoor pool was nice and had a bar next to it. The water was freezing though! We stayed here for one drink and then moved inside. The inside pool was warm and the enclosed area was very muggy and the smell was bad when you walked in. You get used to it though. There was a hot tub in this area as well. Outside of the indoor pool was a cool bar with dollars all over the walls and ceiling. The bartender was very friendly and told everyone the history of the dollars. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine. The shower area could definitely use an update. There is no elevator, so be aware when booking that you will be using the stairs a lot. Breakfast is on the lower level, lobby main level and our room upper level. Breakfast was good. Lots to chose from and always being refilled. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, muffins, yogurt and fruit to name a few. I would go back if we were to stay in the area again.

    Sunset on the inlet.

This bayside hotel is so much fun to stay at. Right on Main Street, close to everything but feels secluded. It is on an inlet with a salt marsh ecosystem. Right outside the lower level door there are 2 gas powered fire pits. Both have long forks for toasting marshmallows. Lots of fun with other hotel guests. Rooms are spacious and clean. I'd definitely stay here again

    Really poor job of caulking.

An old, outdated style hotel. The room was clean although a sloppy job of caulking on the molding on the base of the bathtub really made the bathroom seem shabby. The WiFi was barely 5mbps, almost too slow as to be unusable. An open network also isn't so great, it'd be much better if it was a password protected network. The DirectTV was OK, a shame that there weren't any Pay-Per-View movies that we could find. Now onto the good stuff. We asked for a quiet room and we got a really nice, quiet room. It was very clean and comfortable. The Breakfast Buffet was one of the best we've ever had. Staff at the front desk and in the Breakfast were really excellent. Nice too that you can get decent coffee in the Breakfast room anytime up until 11pm. It's really a 3-Star Hotel, but the staff and really good breakfast bumped it up to 4-Stars. We'd would definitely stay there again too.

Injury son sustained from side of pool while getting out.

Staff is very friendly and the property is clean. Our only real issue was the pool was dark and dangerous. The kids kept cutting their legs and toes on bottom and sides of pool. All my children and their friends got cuts. Also The hot tub did not work.

    Their "normal" jetted tub

We had booked a getaway for my birthday. The king suite with jetted tub upon arrival we decided to try out the jetted tub only to be met with this black gunk shooting out anytime we tried to use it. I had gone down to the service desk to talk to someone the woman working stated "yes, that's just bacteria those tubs are infested with it. The Only way for us to actually clean it would be to take it apart after every guests stay." So I had asked "so that's supposed to happen we just leave it? That's not very sanitary" She shrugged and went on about her day. We made the best of it didn't go back into our tub (which was the main reason for our stay) went to the indoor pool and the game room because we ended up snowed in and unable to leave. Upon checking out my fiancé had asked to speak with the manager we understood that it was not the woman working the front desk job/or responsibility but maybe not telling guests it's a cesspool for bacteria? The manager seemed horrified and was extremely apologetic. He offered us a refund for our stay and was very kind in all honesty. A day later the refund was posted within just a few hours it was withdrawn from a SECOND time. My calls/emails have been ignored I'd avoid the headache all together in my opinion.

We went for our moms first heavenly bday and the hotel made it extra special for us We love this place and have been coming for years It's affordable , convenient, clean, friendly. We love the pool , hot tub , sauna , bar , outdoor pool and fire pit also the bfast .

Local package deals free ice cream discounts for restaurants. $60 voucher for tap grill whaler watch tickets.

We chose the package deal they offered. It was worth it. Very nice hotel clean fresh. Friendly staff. Nice little beach in back. Several pools and they were all clean. Kids and adults will love the big game room Buffet type breakfast with plenty to chose from. Nice bar with food as well. Pizza wasn't bad. Used $25 gift certificate for that and a salad Would stay here again. Great central area location. Traffic is crazy though and look out for the bicyclists.

Bayside Resort Hotel ain't no 5-star hotel, but it's not very far from it. Let's cut to the chase. Wifi: Yes, there's complimentary wifi. No purchase; no passwords. Just connect and you're good to go. Speed is pretty good too! Can be reached throughout the entire hotel. Fitness Center: On one side of the room, you got a TV, two benches, a bike, several treadmills, and pairs of dumbbells ranging from 4 lbs to 35 lbs plus a single 50 lb dumbbell. The other side, there's a lat pulldown, chest press, cable fly, pull up bar, and dip bar. There's also cups for cold and hot water as well as towels. This is a pretty substantial gym when you're on the go. Game room looked pretty cool. However, everything costs a couple quarters to use, so I didn't utilize it. The indoor pool also looked really nice, although I didn't go for a swim. The rooms are pretty comfy. The TVs have good channels and the beds, although not the best, are good enough for a good night's sleep. The shower pressure could definitely be stronger though. No bugs either. It's really easy to hear noises from the halls as well as outside your windows, but after hours I didn't have any trouble with that. One issue I bumped into was that the A/C initially wasn't working. No matter what temperature the thermostat was set to, cold air still continue to blow. However, after talking to the front desk, two of staff dropped by our room a short while later, diagnosed the problem quickly, and replaced the A/C system. All was well again! Although the issue should've been prevented sooner before noticed by guests, they were definitely on top of it. Finally, complimentary breakfast. You got a waffle maker, cereal, bread with a toaster, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, oatmeal, and more. The only things missing that I wished they had were cooked eggs and hot proteins like sausages. But hey, I'm just happy they have breakfast. Can't complain with that. Also, there are patio tables outside, so you can take breakfast out to nature and enjoy the view. This place was definitely a lot nicer than it looks from the outside. Will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future visits to the area.

I've been working at the Cape on and off since the end of March/beginning of April. I cannot say enough good things about Tashula (their GM). She has been AMAZING and so accommodating during my time there- despite last minute reservations and schedule changes on my part. The rate has been so fair and greatly appreciated. The rest of the staff have been so hospitable. My room has been clean and well maintained. I stumbled upon the Bayside Resort by chance, and I'm very glad I did.

Nice hotel. I've…read morebeen here 4-5 times, the most recent last week. The hotel is centrally located on Cape Cod. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. The prices are fair. There is a nice indoor pool and hot tub area. The free breakfast is mediocre. They supply free coffee all day long and free cookies served each night, which is a nice touch.

We have stayed at this location before and enjoyed it. This was supposed to be a 10 day stay, and…read morelet me start by saying, by day 3, we had checked out of this hotel. We checked in and went to our assigned room. We quickly discovered the room to be quite filthy. There was long black hair everywhere. On the countertops, in the bathtub, on the tile floor where the kitchen sick was, and even large clumps under the vanity sink. I immediately went to the front desk and spoke to the GM "Elissa." She was very apologetic and sent a housekeeper down shortly after. The housekeeper visited our room to "re-clean" it, and once she left, there was still hair all over the place. I didn't want to complain to the front desk for a second time, so I did the best I could by washing some of those surfaces myself. Unfortunately, it didnt end there. We went to the the breakfast buffet all three days between 8 and 8:30. It was atrocious. It was very overcrowded and items were not replenished once empty. There was only one working waffle maker that left many people waiting 8-10 people deep in line. Juice machine was "out of order" with no alternative offered other than coffee and tea. Oatmeal was empty. Milk was empty. Cereal container was empty. It was just downright awful. Ive never had this type of experience at any hotel breakfast. There were two restrooms across from the dining area that were BOTH "out of order" the entirety of our stay. So basically the only available restroom was the one in our room. Housekeeping services are supposed to be started on day two of guests stays. Our mounted shower gel was empty. I went to the front desk at 10am asking for a replacement. I waited around all day. Nobody came. I texted the front desk around 3PM asking if we had been forgotten about and was told someone would be down in 5 minutes. Another hour and a half went by, and it was finally delivered to our door at 5PM.... Housekeeper never entered the room. Thats all that was done. Our trashes remained overflowing. Our shampoo and conditioner were empty shorly after. No fresh towels were delivered. It was just bad. The worst part, which forced us to leave early was the discomfort in the beds. I can't even begin to explain how uncomfortable the beds in our room were. The pull out sleeper was like sleeping on straight mattress springs. It left my daughter with severe neck and shoulder pain. The king size bed was just as bad. My husband and I couldn't sleep at all because the bed was so uncomfortable. We tossed and turned all night long and woke up with neck, back, and hip pain. On day two of our stay, I also noticed tiny black ants on the wall next to our bed, and two of them IN our bed. We couldn't take it anymore, so we checked out of the hotel after just 3 short, painfully agonizing days. We spoke to the GM again and explained why we had to leave. She was apologetic but did not offer to compensate any part of our stay. It was by far the most disappointing vacations ever. We had looked forward to this vacation for months to be seriously disappointed. Would not recommend this hotel. Look elsewhere.

The location is beautiful, and there is so much to do in the area and beyond (and I'm not kidding). The room we had was perfect, enough to fit everyone. We needed a blow-up bed, which the staff cared for without issue. Setting it up took up some space, but thankfully, it is nothing to complain about. The bed we stayed in was comfy. The important thing was that the room was well-cleaned and organized, which we were thrilled about. The facility provides a lot of that, including an indoor restaurant called the Loft Restaurant and Bar and an outdoor one called the Loft Shack in the middle of the parking lot. They even host events, such as outdoor concerts. The website provides more info on that. There is even an indoor building that offers sports such as tennis and basketball and even an arcade room. The Cove provides an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Overall, we were very impressed with the Cove, with many memories to take in and cherish. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

The location is excellent with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and other attractions. Check in was fine, although the gentleman at the front desk wasn't particularly friendly and was a little difficult to understand. One thing to know is there are no elevators, so keep that in mind if you're staying on an upper floor or have a lot of luggage. The property itself is pretty big. There's a cute mini golf course out front (more decorative than actually playable), plus a playground and swings for the kids. With some updates and landscaping, the grounds could look really nice. Our room itself was nice. The beds were comfortable, the AC cooled the room well, and I liked that some ground floor rooms have doors leading directly to the parking lot, making it easy to load and unload. The downsides were the tiny bathroom, terrible wifi, and a strange smell in the room. It smelled like carrots... I also tripped and almost fell because of the carpeting which really should be replaced. Housekeeping also missed taking out our trash one day, which was especially frustrating since we had dirty diapers. The indoor heated pool was great and the outdoor pool was nice too. The hot tub area looked a little questionable and the pool room could use a deep cleaning. Breakfast had coffee, juices, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, and a waffle maker. The biggest issue was how crowded it got. Get there early because it gets picked over quickly, and not everything is restocked. The breakfast area also isn't laid out very well, making it difficult to move around when it's busy. The employee working breakfast wasn't particularly pleasant either. We also had an incident during our stay that was resolved amicably so shout out to the guest relations team for handling it professionally. Overall, this hotel is so close to being a much better place to stay. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable, and there are plenty of family friendly amenities. Improve the customer service, replace the carpets, fix the wifi, update some of the fixtures and furniture, and redesign the breakfast area, and this place could easily move up a tier.
