I was expecting super high end ambiance and clientele but the people in front of us had snow pants on and others were in jeans. I guess I would like to occasionally go out and dress up to pay $48 for an entree, but I guess this is what you get in Barrie. The food was pretty good, nice presentation. I had the braised short rib which basically was a lump of good pot roast with no bone. The scallops and risotto were also good. Expresso martini was a little watery. Server was a little disinterested. Overall I would say go because most of my party enjoyed it, I was just expecting more of a wow factor. read more

Ambiance and waitress were great but the food (scallop risotto and lamb chops) were just ok. We expected more for such a high price point.
