Only giving 2 stars because past orders were great but my most recent order was not. I understand that sometimes vases or baskets might be different than the website and sometimes if they don't have a flower in stock they'll change it for something else. I ordered my mom a bouquet of flowers that was about $100, which to me is expensive for flowers I could have ordered a bouquet from Kroger for half the price and it would have been 10x better. It was the day before my brothers first birthday that he wouldn't be here with us, and I really wanted to cheer my mom up with a beautiful bouquet that would maybe get her to smile even if it was just for a second and enjoy something on such a hard day. I got it specifically the day before my brothers birthday because I knew my mom wouldn't be home the next day. I spent about an hour on the website deciding between different bouquets to pick the perfect one for her. The flowers got delivered same day. But wow did it look different. It looked like they grabbed a bush from Jurassic Park and put a few flowers in it and called it a day. I spoke with the manager of the store and she seemed understanding at first but then proceeded to tell me that the price I paid for is in the bouquet it's just one different type of flower and the designer of my basket went for a more "airy look". Personally I don't care what type of flower is used I just want it to look something like the picture online, with the knowledge that it's not going to be 100% like the picture just something that looks similar. I told the manager that my mom wasn't going to be home that day because she was going to hang out with my other brother so she wouldn't be alone on such a hard day and she wouldn't be able to be there to exchange the flowers. She replied with "yeah unfortunately it would need to be next day." Then offered a $20 credit to my account, which at this point I don't even want because why would I order from here again when my most expensive purchase I've made looked like a 4 year old cut some roses from a garden and pulled a bush out of the ground and shoved it all in a basket. The $100 bouquet I paid for died 2 days later, and my mom has about 30 plants and gets flowers all the time and knows what she is doing, she even talks to her all of her plants, that's when you know she loves doing this stuff and genuinely cares. I didn't have the option of exchanging it because of my mom not being able to be home the day the manager wanted to do it. I got a $20 credit to this place but I'll never order here again. If you're going to offer an exchange at least work with the customer on a day that works for both of you not just what works for you and your business, that's not how you run a business or how you get repeating customers. Also a $20 credit won't get me anything from here, at least offer 50% credit of what the customer paid for. If the manager was willing to work with me on the exchange or given me more credit for how much I paid I would have purchased from here again. Customer service is just as important or more important than the product itself. Posting pictures below. read more

I ordered an arrangement for a friend's birthday. I wanted it to be special for 2 reasons- 1) She had lost 2 special women in her life who had both always sent her flowers on her birthday. 2)Because her birthday is in Dec during the busiest time of the year. I looked online at the Baysore's website and ordered a really pretty Christmassy bouquet that I thought she would love. While it touched her deeply and she loved the flowers, I was disappointed in how it looked vs what I ordered. (She sent me a pic). I called and started the call by telling the lady that I appreciated them delivering it on time but I wasn't happy with the way it looked vs what I ordered. I ordered flowers through Pro flowers for Valentine's Day for my wife. I wanted them delivered on Friday February 16 since we were out of town. They were not cheap but I knew that ordering this was. This is the definition of buying local. Instead of going to Sharonville, I stay in Mason. The shop is so quaint. A 2 person shop in downtown Mason. The staff is nice. This is the definition of small business. They spent time getting my floral arrangement just right. Rather than buying flowers from Kroger, here they put a bow on them. read more

Each time I've ordered flowers in advance, they're been gorgeous and exactly what I pictured. I have noticed that quality declined a bit if you used the new option to have the arrangement in 24 hours which is understandable because the shop may not have what you asked for. I've encountered the owner (manager?) a few times and she is a delight to work with! I would definitely recommend them but order in advance! read more

My husband always orders flowers for me from Baysore's and what I love is that they last for a long time and that when they deliver them they call if I'm not home to let me know they have attempted delivery and ask if I would like for them to leave them at the front porch or bring them back to the store. read more

I ordered flowers for a funeral of a very good friend. Along with a bouquet I paid extra for a box of chocolates. When my family got to the church they saw our flowers were dull, wilted, cheap and not what we ordered. We did not order through FTD. I went to the their site specifically because they are a locally owned company. I paid $126 plus change for this bouquet that they made and no chocolates I don't know what happened to them. This is probably the ugliest bouquet I have ever seen. I could have gone to Kroger's and picked out the same flowers. I understand the availability of flowers determines the bouquet but these were wilted and look like a child put them together. I will never call them again I will never use them again I will never recommend them to anybody else. read more

This is a friendly and efficient local flower shop. They did a lovely job on corsages for my son's prom and homecoming dances. They even gave us a call when we forgot to pick one up! This was so helpful. I like to support local businesses and this flower store is to right on Main Street in Mason. Their flowers are fresh and last really long. I like to buy bouquets here and I know what I'm getting. Service is personalized and friendly. The prices here are even less than when you order on line and flowers fresher and just as pretty. The seasonal display in the window is always so unique and clever. I love looking at it every time I drive by. Baysore's will always be my go to place for bouquets, corsages flower arrangements. read more

I would just love to make a suggestion to anybody who orders flowers, that the best thing to do is to order flowers directly from the mom-and-pop stores rather than doing FTD or1- 800 flowers. You are going to get more flowers for your buck by not going through a middleman Baysore's does an excellent job! They catered to their customers very well. not only do they have flowers ,but they do gift baskets, cards and even if you bring product in for an arrangement ,they will incorporate that in those arrangements. Ordered thru Teleflora, they picked this place for the flowers (I picked a different vendor). The flowers received were not even close to the ones ordered...not even the same flowers were used. Teleflora stated substitutions can be made, but if it's a completely different arrangement with much less then whats supposed to be received should have the option to cancel the order. I have been ordering from Baysore's for over a year. Every time I order over the phone the staff is impatient and impolite. I just ordered a funeral arrangement and to my horror saw on the receipt that the card message read "With out deepest sympathy" instead of "With our deepest sympathy". I called Baysore's to notify them and get it corrected. The representative that answered did not even apologize! I actually said to her 'I'm surprised you haven't apologized considering the error and the fact that this was sent to a grieving family'. She STILL didn't apologize! Horrible customer service. I ordered flowers for my co-worker for Administrative Professionals Day. I ordered the "Be Happy Bouquet" and it looked nothing like the picture. The only thing that was part of the order that was delivered correctly was the smiley face mug vase that the flowers came in! My parents ordered flowers through Interflora for my birthday and have done so for the past 25 years. IT is the first time that Baysore delivers and hopefully the last time. Because I was not home (and have generally not been since I work) they left the bouquet at some random neighbor that I do not even know and who would not answer their door. When I called the next day to complaint the person was not friendly and told me that they would seek to retrieve the bouquet and redeliver it. I said that the flowers would be a day old and that they should have a new bouquet and they refused. She also said that they do not leave flowers on proches because of the weather. I told them that my birthday has always been the same day and never had a problem with flowers left outside! Plus contrary to what she said, there is no policy as to that noted on their website. For what my parents paid, the bouquet is not up to par. They have filed a complaint with the florist abroad from which they ordered. DO NOT USE read more

Ordered flowers for a funeral. Was so embarrassed when I arrived to the funeral and saw what Baysore's had sent. It didn't look anything like the picture they portrayed of what I was ordering. The vase was a completely different shape, color, and cheap looking; and there was only about half of the flowers that the picture had shown. Tried to place an order for a Mother's Day delivery. I spoke directly to the store, not a service. Got all the way through the $75 order, provided credit card information and requested a text photo of the arrangement when the salesperson abruptly said, "We do not use our personal phones to provide photos." Ordered flowers for my daughters graduation. They were not delivered on the delivery date. After calling FTD they assured me they were going to upgrade my order for delivery the following day. What was delivered appeared to be the original order that was undelivered the first time. They looked as if they'd been driven around for a day and delivered the following day. The roses were fully opened and edges browning and wilting. I called FTD and explained that the flowers were delivered in a wilting state looking old and not upgraded. They assured me they would have new upgraded flowers delivered the next day. They delivered on the upgrade but in a worse state of wilt than the original day late ones. The roses were fully opened and edges browning and wilting. The upgrade also was half-boxed with with the stems in a base rather than a vase. Strange thing is. I ordered from FTD two weeks earlier with no problems. All I wanted was FRESH flowers delivered for my daughters graduation. Both the original order and the upgrade were less than fresh.
