When we arrived the Co-owner personally coached my kids along with 8 other beginners who were just there for open shooting time. He is kind, and patient, and most of all, was not being paid to coach. Excellent first experience with instructor Keith, who was helpful, informative and well experienced. I shot for an hour with my father, and we both managed to get a few bullseyes each. Was not very busy and they seemed to sanitize well and social distance. The targets, which were 20 yards out, were fairly easy to shoot. I will definitely be going back. The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called to as a question after signing up for a lesson, the person who answered my call was incredibly rude and condescending. When I tried to call back they blocked my number. On top of that it was a non refundable class so I have now given my money to a bunch of awful people and I can't even get anything out of it. How could anyone possibly operate a business like that? I'm honestly in shock that someone could treat a customer like that. I have worked in the service industry my whole life, and I have encountered some truly awful people, but I was never rude back. Insane to me that someone would treat a customer like that. read more

Decent facility. However, like other yelp and google reviews suggested, one of the instructors there can be condescending and demeaning when interacting with customers/learners sometimes. After taking one class I switched to another range and had a much better experience -- better coaching & more professional attitudes. If you are fine with this place's coaching style, that is great. Came here on a whim with my brother-in-law and his fiancee to shoot some arrows at the targets on a random weekend. We walked in and eventually were greeted by someone who walked us over to the equipment and helped us get geared up. We were thought about the house rules which basically just means that we can only go fetch the arrows when told, to avoid incidents and off we went. For the most part we all had fun and the prices were fair. The equipment ,however felt pretty cheap and some of the arrows didn't have the torque required to poke through the target. We tried different bows and none of them felt really sturdy and the strings felt a little lose. I get it though, why have fancy equipment up for rental. Like I said, no big deal and we had fun. I'd definitely go back to relieve some stress. read more

Ok, so this place was great! I was a complete newbie to archery (I still am), and this was the right place for me to go. They are very friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable, and considerate. I hate going to places where people with experience just talk down to you. The place was also very clean and well kept. In that light, I have a little firearm experience, and they actually treat this place like a well run gun range. So that was even better, as I felt like I was in a safe environment and wouldn't walk out looking like a giant pincushion. In my beginner class they spend the time teach everyone how to position and fire their bows to include the proper techniques, this include safety and good handling. While people are practicing firing their arrows, the instructor(s) come by and just make little spot checks to improve your performance. It was very effective. I went from knowing nothing to firing good beginner groupings. I loved it as I found it to be relaxing. They're were people of all ages and backgrounds learning. In one class, I was next to a surprisingly older women, while there were a couple high school students a few lanes down. Another person like myself was a working professional and she just wanted to learn the art like myself. In once class there was a father with his two daughters. This was a great experience. I plan to start back up and continue the practice. I'm waiting for my son turn 8 so I get get him involved as well. Cheers! read more

The facility is okay but the attendant/instructor was condescending and rude, if I had come alone I would've left at the first instance but I didn't want to ruin it for my friend, plus I wasn't going to join the misery and get rude too. He seemed annoyed the whole time while instructing and enjoyed barking commands, I asked a question and his reply was "What do you think?". There's better facilities with good service, save yourself the annoyance. read more

We had our daughter's 10th birthday party at this location and she loved it. A year later we invested in equipment for my daughter and they took a lot of time to work with us, educate us, and help us enjoy the sport. Really like going to this location and having family experience. Highly recommend this place. read more

We had a 31st birthday party here this past weekend with 15 adults and we had a great time. I'd never done archery before, and I found the instruction thorough and the staff attentive. This place used to be in Dedham, and has since moved to this location. Same owner, who is very kind. It's a bit hidden as it's in an office park, but once you are inside it's all about the archery. Nothing fancy here - just a great place to get some coaching and practice your skills. I don't need anything more than that! read more

A really cool experience. The instructors are very friendly and getting started is much less intimidating because of them. They give you a brief run-through and off you go the start line. The targets are standard, I also saw some dummies and various other things to aim at. The equipment seemed decent (this was my first time doing archery, so don't really know). I first got into archery by attending the Saturday classes here, and strongly recommend it to anyone interested in trying out archery. The range has a family-friendly vibe, with a mix of ages, and a nice home-grown atmosphere. Everyone shooting there has that 'having fun' camaraderie, so it's easy to lightly socialize whilst you practice. There's usually a mix competitive olympic recurve archers, traditional hobbyists, and modern compound archers. The staff is knowledgable in all three areas and always provides good feedback to help me improve and refine my form (in my case for traditional longbow). There's no signup or anything, so you can just stop by the range and they'll help you get started right away. The parties are fun too- they put up balloons (to shoot at) at the end and award prizes. I've practiced at two other local ranges, but this one's my favorite due to the family atmosphere and extremely knowledgeable/friendly staff. read more

I used to take my kids to this place when it was in Dedham (Different Owner) and since it is literally 6 minutes from my house, decided to go use the lanes for an hour. I arrived and walked in, only to be told (in a not too polite manner) Mask! I did not notice the sign on the door that said mask required to enter - so, OK everything else in the state is OPEN now, and I am vaccinated, but, I went back to the car and got my mask and re-entered. There was a good sized group there getting instructions from who I believe is the owner, and to say he was friendly and gregarious with this group would be a blatant lie, his demeanor and tone was outright rude - If I were in the group I would have left. I remained standing there for about 5 minutes without any acknowledgement from this person but then a woman came out of a back room. By this point a group of 3 also came in (probably college age) - the woman asked if we were together, I said no that I just wanted to use a lane for an hour and had my own equipment (Did I mention that there is plastic sheeting hanging in between each lane - floor to ceiling?) She said I could go to the end lane and I asked if I could take my mask off to shoot as otherwise I can't get a good anchor point to shoot. She said pretty rudely, NO - Mask Required. Now at this point I may have said in a calm voice - this is ridiculous, the state is open - but before I finished or could have a discussion - she pointed at the door and said - GET OUT. Fine by me - I got out and will Stay Out. Too bad because it is a pretty convenient location, but I will drive a little further to be treated as a valued customer at another archery shop. read more

My son developed a love of archery during summer camp. We finally made it here today. The staff were firm with the rules, as you would expect, but also incredibly friendly and patient. They offered me much needed tips and put out a closer target when my 6 year old was having trouble reaching the end of the range. They also seemed to be busier than normal but everything was handled smoothly. read more
