dropped my car off about a month and a half ago, kept calling to check the status of it no one ever answered the phone but if they do answer the phone everyone says something different, and after all this time i came to come pick it up to take it somewhere else .. no one had even touched the car. I left a part for them to change the box wasn't even opened. Don't go to this mechanic if u want ur time to be completely wasted. read more

Baytown Wrecker/Towing HOOKED me up after my crash, even took care of my contents, honesty there, thank you Brad!

Our truck was taken here after a front driver's side wreck and it took a month to repair and they said that it was taking a while bc they needed the right parts and the final week they were performing QC checks. We finally got our truck back ($14,978.10 charged to the insurance and $500 charged to us for repairs) and we noticed that the bed of the truck was shaking so we took it back so they can fix it. By this time, our insurance wouldn't continue paying for our rental so we had to pay for the extra days for the new repair despite their days long "QC checks". We asked the manager there for compensation and after much hesitation he agreed to pay for half of the extended rental which we never even picked up because we were so frustrated with them, we just didn't even want to look at them. Once we got our truck back, we started noticing more and more was wrong with our vehicle. When I was driving the truck at night, I noticed that the PASSENGER side light was out and when my husband went to fix it, he found that there was NO LIGHTBULB in the headlight. Since we really didn't ride in the backseat of this truck, we didn't notice until about a week after when we were cleaning the back seat we saw that the bolts from the grab handles were missing and it was hanging apart from the truck. I also noticed that the truck was driving roughly and bouncy but maybe that this was because of the wreck. It wasn't until my husband started driving it that he noticed that it was pretty bad and took it to a suspension shop and they said that the struts were shot. Once he contacted Baytown Collision and asked if this was bc of the wreck, they said maybe and that they'd have to take pictures and send it to the insurance to see if they would pay for them. All in all, there was nothing BC or the insurance could do for us so we were just careful with the truck or just used our other vehicle. We now are fixing the struts in the front to stop the shaking and the shop mechanic is now asking if we had our truck dropped, which we didn't have the front dropped we only dropped the back to level the truck, and he is telling us that we do not have the original struts in our truck and the two in the front are different sizes. Idk what kind of shady things they have going on there but all of these problems are major red flags and our truck is having so many problems since being "repaired" there. I have attached a picture of the front struts that our mechanic sent us. The top 2 are the struts that were in the front of the truck and the bottom is the new one that will be placed in the front. read more

I sure wish I had looked this place up before taking my car there. And all I had was a little door and grill damage. I would never have guessed it would take 3 weeks .... and it's not finished yet. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen!!! Don't use this place unless you don't need your vehicle for a couple of months. Excuse after excuse. They call you to say your vehicle is ready...you take off work and you drive ALL the way over there ....And it's not ready. Over and over and over again!! Yesterday the truck was supposed to be ready AGAIN. and we have learned our lesson now. So we called before we left the house. And were told that no , it was not ready yet, but would be ready in 2 hours. Called again today AT NOON and it is NOT ready. REALLY????? UPDATE:: still not ready. Now they are saying it will be ready Monday at 7:30 am. I am looking for another company that can finish this truck !! read more

Like every other review, this place was disaster. We were referred the same way the other reviewer was by tow truck drivers. I bet he gets some commission for referring them. It took us over 2 months to get our car back. Every time we called them, they say "it will be ready by this afternoon" or whatever BS. They tried not to give us back truck tool box that is still in good shape, saying, "oh did you want to keep it?". Definitely STAY AWAY this shop if you want your car back. And, be aware of the tow truck driver! Hope people get to see this... read more

My car was in a terrible accident and the tow truck drivers were so nice I just went with them even though I live on the other side of town. This place rips you off and doesn't do a good job at all. The cut corners on things you don't notice until later. My jack is now gone (they stole it). Also, my full size spare was replaced with a donut which screwed up my sensors so now I have to buy more sensors and a new spare. I am flabbergasted at how they prey on customers. I have to warn others of this establishment. If it was just one or two bad seeds, they represented the company so poorly that this review is warranted. read more

I wouldn't give them one star. My experience with them was horrible. My truck was towed involuntarily to their business. I called in advance after having a serious car accident and gave them all of our appropriate information, they told me I could come see my truck. I am the registered owner of the vehicle in mention. My husband and I have been in the hospital since our accident and are healing from unfortunate wounds. I had to have a ride to their shop. When I arrived, I talked with Amanda (who I had prior talked with on the phone and sent information via email) and asked to see my truck. I showed my identification. She treated me in a degrading, suspicious way and refused to let me see my truck because my name wasn't on our insurance policy (it doesn't matter if my name isn't on the policy, what matters is that the truck is insured), but my husband's name was on the policy. I didn't have any other way of showing that I was the registered owner of the truck because all of my information, along with personal belongings, was lost in the wreck (we rolled four times on the interstate, windows broke out and our personal items were lost, we were immediately taken to a hospital and weren't able to collect what we could see laying on the interstate). As you can imagine, after having a life threatening accident and being hospitalized for two weeks that I was emotional. It was obvious to anyone else. Amanda didn't seem to have empathy and showed no concern for my wellbeing. Matter of fact, she was emotionally cold and had an arrogant self-righteous attitude, even seeming to take pleasure in denying me access like a power tripper. She told me to leave. Fortunately, I was with a family friend who was able to go back in and work out a way for me to see my truck that day. I was able to go back in and fill out a form so I would have permission to see MY truck and they told me I had to have it notorized down the street at the post office. They told me they couldn't notorize at their shop. They lied to us because when my family friend went back in, he asked about why his form was notorized the days prior that he came to see the vehicle on our behalf without his consent or knowing. They tried to tell him that he knew about it and gave permission for it to be notorized but he didn't. This is illegal. So then they turned around and miraculously had someone to notorize the form even though they told us they didn't. They made me pay $25 to notorize the form whereas the other day when my friend went to see my truck, they didn't. Totally shady and they seem proud of it. I was able to see my truck because they knew they were in the wrong, not out of the kindness of their hearts but because they knew they could get in trouble with the law and they wanted to avoid that. From my experience, this company has seedy crooked people running it who are more interested in your money than your wellbeing. I am very disappointed with how they reacted to a severely traumatized person who needed closure and healing on their life threatening car accident. Don't do business with this company, they don't seem to have your best interest in mind. What a shame. If they think they can get away with this kind of unprofessional service, they can't and if they don't clean it up, it will be their downfall from their own doing. read more

I came to this place TWICE. The first time wasn't too bad, but had to return the car for faulty wiring. But the second time I had way too many issues. They called me for two weeks saying the car was ready, just to call me back and say NEVERMIND. I would have been fine with a call saying it's going to take an extra week but this is ridiculous. THEN, once I received my car, it was making a noise it never made before, things were falling apart that were never even damaged in the wreck. Some stuff wasn't even set back up properly. Mind you, this happened the NEXT DAY after I picked up my vehicle. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I didn't take it back because I knew it would take a few more weeks to get fixed and I didn't want that. They had my vehicle for 4 MONTHS, just to not even get the job done right. Do whatever you can to AVOID this place. If a wreck shows up to tow, make sure to ask where and if they say this place, CALL ANOTHER TOW TRUCK, they will try to get you with "free" towing to this shop. Do not I REPEAT DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. read more

Horrible! My friend had her vehicle towed there due to a car accident and when the insurance company came to pick it up they said it wasn't there. It took her a week to finally get her car out of this horrible place. We we're about to call the police on them . I told her not to get her car fixed there and to go to her dealership to have it done correctly. So glad she finally got it out of there after a week! This place needs to be shut down! One star is completely justifiable. Never take your vehicle here. They really never answer their phones in the shop. You could try ringing about ten times & still no answer. It should not take about a month and a half to repair something that's about 4,000 in damage. Do NOT let the tow trucks take you here EVER. Wish I knew better. read more

If I could give less than a star, I would. Shady people. Towed my truck the night before Thanksgiving, and lied to me telling me they would be closed all weekend, just so they could charge me $350 in storage fees. Oh, but if I get my body work done there, they will waive the storage fees. Funny. Shady SHADY shady people. You cannot force my hand to have my work done there.
